Respected sir/madam,

I mr shailesh prakash shinde had an accident while playing football at 4 bunglow, near versova, andheri w and was not able to walk properly, as my knee got twisted while playing. This happened on last saturday 05/08/2017. I thought it was minor lock in my knee and went to ayurvedi for normal check-up. He done some treatment and asked me to take rest for 2 days.
However, after 2 days i felt that, there is no recovery in the ayurvedic treatment, so i visited sterling hospital, borivali west. Here, i got an appointment with dr. Ajay n. Shenvi m. S. (Ortho.). He treated me well and medicine was also prescribed to me seems to be proper.
Now, after taking the treatment, i went to reception to make the payment of the charges. And there i was shocked. As the receptionist named (Akshata) asked me to pay doctor/provider consult charges to pay in cash. I requested her to take charges by card, as she was ready to take complete charges of hospitality through card. Now, here she needs to explain me the reason of taking amount in cash politely however, she started fighting with me and again and again saying that, "you can ask to the doctor/provider regarding this. We always take doctor/provider consult charges in cash. You will have to pay in cash. We do not accept payment in card or in any mode except cash for doctor/provider consult."
Now, here the concern is, i've went to sterling hospital and not directly to the doctor/provider. I know sterling hospital, as it is nearby me and it is a brand for ortho-patient. If anything happens, i will claim to sterling hospital and not to the doctor/provider. I don't know the doctor/provider, who he/she is. I only know the sterling hospital and when i came to the hospital, hospital forwarded to dr. Ajay n. Shenvi m. S. (Ortho.) to handle my case and look into it. So, in this case, i will be paying to the hospital and not directly to the doctor. And it is huge and reputed hospital so, no transaction should be done in cash. I regret to this system and as i want to pay in white and not in black.
Now, in second visit, i asked to the doctor in requesting words, can i give your fees in card??
Doctor replied, "yes, you can give the amount through card. However, hospital has not created our personal account in the system and so it lots of stuff needs to do from staff side to get my money. So, it is hectic for staff to give my money if it is paid through card/cheque/online etc.in this case, i'd request you to make the payment in cash, if you've or else you can ask the staff/receptionist". Now, with the satisfactory answer from the doctor, i went to the receptionist to make the payment. As soon as i ask that, can you please take the payment through card? Both the receptionist (Sarika & akshata) started fighting with me and she called the doctor/provider (Intercom) and started telling that, the patient is fighting at the reception. This was completely fake and un-ethical. Now, i'm afraid to go the sterling hospital. As, i might not able to get proper treatment, as i was expecting...

Hope you will understand and will take correct resolution after doing investigation.

Regards,
Shailesh prakash shinde

Dear sir -your hospital Dr are not properly check in my oral case. And very wrong answer. He is not sessions right Dr in my case. So I am not satisfied your hospital and Dr staff. I wait your right answer.
Sterling Hospital, Borivali - It is a horrible hospital with extremely disgusting staff (mainly the admin & some of the doctors)! The objective of this hospital is merely to extort money from the patients and their respective family. Their COVID ward is pathetic and absolutely unkept! When you place a request to either get something in the room fixed or change of room, they do not pay heed to your request but ask the patient to make do with whatever is available!

Let me tell you about the most disturbing part of this Hospital... the staff recruited for night duty..extremely unfriendly...do not care if the patient is in pain...the resident doctors doing rounds in the night do not even care to look at the patient's concerns. In fact the bell kept in the room is merely for show... some of the doctors do not even turn up!

I would recommend the people considering to admit any of their family members to Sterling Hospital to probably evaluate any of the government hospitals than this one. Else you are sure to face the same difficulties that my family had to face or even worse!

Literally, since I had no other alternative, one late evening I had to get my dad discharged from Sterling Hospital and have him transferred to another Hospital for his treatment due to their inability and inexperience to handle a complex case like ours. If you can't handle such cases, might as well disclose it upfront rather than trying to play around with the life of a man who is in constant pain. Getting a voluntary discharge is another crazy process...they make it so difficult for the patient's family members!

It's my sincere request to people to not consider this Hospital even to have themselves treated for a normal cold & flu.

    Sir,

My brother died in your hospital on 4th of february morning 4 am.

On basis of your hospital report they refuse to pass the claim.

    The deceased was on intubation
And hd catheter and the deceased died on 04. O2.2017, due to withdrawal
Of the ventilator support at the specific request of the relatives / claimants
That they did not wish any resuscitative measure treatment. From the
Record it shows that it was a natural death and not due to alleged accident.
The insured died of sepsis with hyperkalemia. As such all these factors
Show that the deceased died a natural death.
In any accidental death, in order to establish cause of death, post mortem of the deceased is a must.in this case no post mortem was done, hence we
Cannot assume that the accident was result of injury and was cause of
    Death.
The deceased was having heart problem, was alcohol and intoxicants
Was taking insulin injection every day.
Another point that the relatives who are the beneficiaries signed the dnr
Consent, which led to withdrawal of ventilator support, hence thi", cannot be said that the death is because of injuries caused due to accident.
Sir, my request to you to give us in written that all the above mentioned is wrong.
    Your cooperation will be appreciated
All the above is false & blaiming my brother

My father has been admitted to Sterling, Vadodara since 12 days because of Brain Stroke/Paralysis. The condition was gettingg better till today morning. He was shifted to the 5th floor, old building where staff was highly irresponsible along with the in-team physicians. They kept on saying that condition was stable even though it was clearly visible that the patient was finding difficulty breathing. It was after 15-20 minutes of ringing the emergency bell that the staff came in and wasted 20 more minutes to decide if the patient needs to be shifted back to ICU, After shifting, it was known that the heart had stopped working. Patient is still in ICU and the 5th floor staff was busy cracking jokes as what I saw when I went back to the room to take files. Disgusting, Inhuman, Unprofessional, Below the belt behaviour at the best hospital of Vadodara. I don't know about staff in other floors, but the 5th floor staff in old building is just unacceptable.

My sister got admitted in midnight around 2am and the procedure of medicine started so she couldn't get a proper sleep in night. Obviously a patient need a rest so she was trying to sleep in morning at around 10.
But the staff on the floor including floor doctor and nurses are making so much o[censored]nnecessary noice by talking loudly.
When i tried to request them to slow down the voice they answered rudely saying it's a day time, the noice is obvious.
Such a pathetic and unprofessional answer and services is unacceptable when we are paying these much amount. Rather giving a peaceful rest and care to the patient, your employees are disturbing a lot.

Take the necessary actions asap or else i shall go further to the higher authorities.
We are staying in sterling hospital, vadodara.in room number 410 old building.

This is vishal here. My mother suffering with cancer and we are doing treatment of her in sterling hospital Vadodara Gujarat.

We already given 6 chemos and now herceptin theraohy is going on. In this therapy one injection cost is 58 thousand. We already given 13 injections. 5 more to go.

Now hospital has decided to take security deposit of bill and once they receive payment from respective TPA then they will refund us. Previously nothing was like this.

In this with cashless insurance we have to pay almost 15-20 k. And this amount will be blocked for us. We are not able to fake advantage of mediclaim although we are paying regularly for it.

Also they started 500 processing fees for TPA which is also not correct. And after all this we are receiving services like we admit in general hospital.

            Please look in to it.

              Dear Sir,

My cousin got accident in Vadodara on Sunday 8/11/2015 & admitted to sterling Hospital at 12.30 midnight for emergency, but they are not operating as they are asking to deposit advance .

we had deposited 35k at night then they had started treatment.

He had serious injuries to left leg, hand & Head but they are not ready to operate as you deposit another 1 lac then they will operate we are not from vadodara but still we had manage 60k & deposited then they operated only hand & again they are asking to deposit 2 lacs to operate for led.

Sir how we can manage urgent money as we had deposited 95k .

They are not ready to operate then we had requested to Doctor Mr. Rajur Walla they give us discharge will shift our patient to Maharashtra Nashik as we are not able to adjust this huge amount in vadodara.

He is not ready do give discharge then he told us that if you are not having money then why you have admitted patient to this hospital.

He had telling us that if you dont have money for treatment then we will cut his leg & this will cost you 95k to 1 lac.

We are not ready for that & we requested him to discharge our patient on urgent basis then he is ready & given approval for discharge & there staff given another bill at 11.30 pm of Rs.1.76 lac.

We had ask staff that at evening we had asked to your accounts department at that time your accounts department told us that its 83k & how in 2-3 hours bill is 1.76 lacs.

Nobody is ready to tell this & they told us if you pay this full bill them only we will give discharge to your patient.

Sir how can we pay another 90k at night 12

we had asking them how this much bill occur they told that its our charges & you have to pay then only you will allow to take patient discharge.

Sir we have to wait till morning & we had manage another 85k & paid the bill & taken discharge from STERLING HOSPITAL.

Because for only 14-45 hours they had charge us 1.76 lacs.

Because of this our patient lost his leg as if at the time of admission operation is done his leg is not to cut.

Sir the Staff & doctors both are not co-operative & they are only asking money .

Sir required strict action against Doctor Mr/ RAJUR WALLA.

My son Akash Keshwani was 21 years old and had completed 12th science.
Suddenly after 5 days fever he had epileptic attacks for 4 years but in 4th year he was fine from 5 months and on 21/10/2012 he had a big epileptic attack and shifted in suchak hospital (bhavnagar) under dr.Atul Tipnis treatment, as akash's urine was stopped from 24 hours, dr. suggested for dialysis but their was no machines for dialysis in suchak hospital so he was shifted to sterling hospital (bhavnagar) room no 419 under treatment of dr.Deepak Saboo. After dialysis he was fine and required for meal & water and he also talked to dr.deepak & dr.hetal and that day sterling’s brother “AWARGIS” came to collect blood for oxygen reports. We refused him and talked to Dr.saboo but he told that reports are compulsory so we agreed than he took blood from Artery vein. So, till morning his hand had painful swelling (inside) we complained every doctors for that but they didn’t paid any special attention. 2’nd day at midnight 2 AM pain was unbearable for him so we complained strictly to take action so they shifted for reports of DOPPLER to Ram mantra hospital because sterling didn’t had machines in hospital so, from 2:30AM till 6:00AM. Dr.Ketan Patel took visit in sterling hospital and after one hour meeting he took the decision to CUT RIGHT HAND. So, we refused. Than they decided to operate, Fasciotomy was done by Dr.JF rana & Dr.ketan patel, but was not succeed so bleeding was continues for 7 days so Dr. suggested for RBC,PCV,CRIO,FFP Total 75 to 80 units were given to him but then also there was no improvement so because of doctor’s and sterling hospital we lost our son.

We went only for dialysis but because of negligence of doctor’s(DEEPAK SABOO) and nursing staff (AWARGIS) of sterling hospital (Bhavnagar) we lost our most valuable son (young only 21 years) FOREVER...

Never Recommend anyone to Sterling Hospital.

They are money making institute. Doesn't matter if patient dies, but Hospitals target is to take off all the money he has.

No proper line of treatment. I doubt if they have any genuine qualified doctors.

Even a simple disease leads to death at Sterling.

My Grandmother was admitted in sterling hospital, bhavnagar in emergency at midnight. She was admitted in ICU. But there was very bad
attitude by the security staff out side of ICU. And there was no proper Staff in ICU. My Grand Mother admitted at 2 AM in Night, after
emergency treatment, there was only 2 to 3 Nursing staff at 3.30 AM, In ICU WARD there was 10 to 12 BAD. No proper care taken
by staff and very dirty all the Bathrooms in hospital. After 24 to 30 hours she was shifted in SEMI-SPECIAL room. And again at that
night my grandmother sugar goes down to 82. After 2 to 3 reminder to Nursing Staff and after 30 to 40 minutes there was sugar available.
No night lamp in SEMI-SPECIAL rooms. At the time of payment we got a lot of doctor visit charges. But never any doctor approach to us.
There are lots off report in bill charges but we got only 50% of them physical hard copy and same in XRAY report. We complain all the above
things to hospital admin officer, but they were not to convince. After that all we left the hospital in between treatment.

Very poooooooooooooooor and bad attitude ...............?????????????????

My wife was admitted in Sterling Hospital on 22nd of October 2010. She was suffering from Fever and Suger. She was allotted a room No. 207. On addmition it was noticed that the bath room has no inner stopper. Wife had to wait for some one to sit out side while she was in the bathroom so that no one can open the door which has no stopper. I complained to the maintance dept visiting staff as many as 8 times but it was repaired only on 24th after noon. What a mental tourcher ?

Further she was simply suffering from ferev ans suger problem. Just to increase the bill she was tested for Sonographic CT Scane X-rays and what not ? Inspite all these sugar level was 360+ She was in the hospital for 3 days sugar level was not controlled. ?

                      A bill for Rs. 27,000+

My complaint is to claim for the diffencies in services and compension for mental harressment and refund for un necessary tests.

During the Whole Body Check up the Cardiologist at Sterling Hospital Dr. Chawla, after looking at My Cardio Echo result, and without any further checking or tests Declared that I must go for Mitral Valve Replacement (Open Heart Surgery). However, for second opinion I consulted two leading cardiologist from Baroda and Ahmedabad (Both again did the Cardio Echo) the results came out to be completely negative indicating that there was no need for MVR.
When complained to the Hospital, their reply was that in medical science there are differing opinion and diagnosis on any tests in Cardiology and that their dignosis was absolutely correct.
Being an NRI, I was never given the chance to discuss the whole matter niether given ample time to reply while I was in India well knowing that I will have to leave shortly for my destination.

I agree Sterling is focussed on revenue thru NRI, TPAs. Patient is the guinea pig in this. Stay away from Sterling. A revenue sharing with different doctors ensure they keep the beds occupied.
Sterling only knows one thing- how to make money. That is their primary objective, not patient care. I have heard cases where they kept dead body on ventilator to make more money. Even after patient died they did not release body to relatives until they paid remaining bill. That is inhumane and goes against very basics of medical ethics. Revenue sharing with physicians is rampant and eventually patients suffer. Somebody needs to do something about this. Where are media people when you need them? These are the things they should be investigating and writing about.
this hospital is so worse i recommeded you to dont go this hospital as a higher treatment .
                        another roblem is that
as shown in gabber movie is made on sterling hhttp://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/sterling-hospital-baroda-gujarat-c3...
