Stray Dogs — Stray Dogs - Mayur Vihar Phase -1 (Pocket 1)

Dear Sir/ Maam,

I am a resident of Mayur Vihar Phase -1 for a long time now. I want to bring to your kind notice that the number of stray dogs in this area have exponentially multiplied. There is an absolute URGENT need to address this issue as these stray dogs introduce multiple problems as below:

- They are NOT vaccinated , hence if bitten by them, they can cause health issues
- They are a menace as Kids cannot play safely
- These dogs create a great deal of pollution (Noise and dirt)

I am not sure on what is our government's policy to deal with Stray dogs, but I think these animals give a real bad image of our society. Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

We would like to bring this to your kind notice that approximately 5 to 6 stray dogs are there around our lane & nearby lanes . Due to these dogs, the residents of whole Joshi Road Locality are facing regular problems. Recently, one of the dog has bitten many residents .
We request the Dog Squad of MCD to kindly take necessary action immediately and send the Dog squad to avoid this problem.

here in our area there are many stray dogs which have made our life misserable they keep shouting and fighting entire night everyday, this is been happening from quite a long time, these dogs they also attack anybody who is walking by the road.

I am registering this complaint at night 1 am, unable to sleep because of the menace being caused by the DOGS in my area. I recently moved in to one of the Flats in JP Nager 7th Phase. Was very happy with the flat until the night arrived. The Stray Dogs in the areae have been continously barking disturbing my sleep. I request the concerned authority to eliminate all the stray dogs in the area.

I stay in Popular-Giridhar Nagar society, on Pune-Bangalore Highway, opostie Mai Mangeshkar Hospital.
Every night when I return from office between 1 am to 2 am, i find a group of dogs scattred all over the raod and making my way difficult to reach my flat.
Many of them barked and growled at me, but I somehow managed to walk away slowly from them.

But from last one week, these dogs have attacked me three times, and two times I saved myself by throwing stone, and swinging away the umbrella in my hand, but last night I was attacked third time and i was saved at the last moment by the security guard of a nearby construction site who calmed down dog and whisked it away.

I dont know where to go and complain about it. My coleagues says I have to talk to corporator in my area but since I moved in there one year back I doubt it if corporator will ever listen to me .
Please take this complaint seriously, I have a one leg operated so I limp during walk and I cant run away if a dog attacks me, I can't even move quickly if dog moves in circle around me and attack me from behined.

I would like to bring this to your kind notice that approximately 35 to 40 stray dogs are in Gautam Nagar area which are multiplying, intimidating, creating a nuisance and biting people. Due to these dogs, the residents are facing regular problems. Yesterday, one dog has bitten one person. And Children, women and old persons of our locality are also not safe in such atmosphere. Many of the dogs are very dangerous, they bark and chase on persons passing through the streets of Gautam Nagar without any reason. In spite of several verbal complaints, no action has been taken so far.

I request the Concerned Dept. to kindly take speedy action and send the Dog squad team to avoid this problem please.

This is to bring in to the notice that there is a gang of stray dogs near our society which make it difficult for people coming back from office or going out in the evening. These dogs run behing you or howl at you while walking. Its really difficult to move around in this area. Request to take necessary action. Its just a matter of time before these dogs bite someone.

i am a resident of kge layout, devasandra, new bel road, bangalore. our street has lots of stray dogs which are causing nuisace everyday. anytime you go on the street you see a min of 8 - 10 dogs.they bark at passangers, and run barking after people who travel on bike. bikers are feeling sfraid to go through the street. there has been incidents of people falling off from their bikes trying to avoid dog bite by increasing their speed..
these dogs keep barking throughout the night causing sleepless nights to the people in my neighbourhood. children and adults are also afraid to walk in my street. i have informed local authorities many tomes but none has taken any action regardnig it. i dont know why our system pays a deaf to this issues.

It has been observed that Residents in Residential Layouts are having Pet Dogs and letting them Bark throughout the night, Thereby disturbing our sleep, Working in night shifts Our sleep is getting disturbed, These Pet dog owners let their Pet dogs to keep Barking Entire night, I request the BBMP to act on complaint, Such Pet Dog Owners should be Severely Fined by the BBMP.

Stray Dogs — complaint against street dogs.

I am an resident of Mira road. which is in Mumbai. My complain is against these 20-25 street dogs. The whole society is irritated because of these stray dogs. They keep on barking the whole night...And that too they bark by forming a group. The area kids are also scared to play in the garden section which is behind my building. I would a[appreciate if you could take a strict action and send dog squads to take them away.
Please take some action as soon as possible, because living here is getting impossible.

I live in New Bel Road, Devsandra, Near Shri Balaji PG. There is a family near my house who have kept a street dog as a pet but they do not know how to control a dog. This dog barks everyday from morning 6 am till 7 am or longer and I am a working person I come late at night and because of this Dog my facing health issues, I get headache everyday and I take pills everyday. This is my request to you to please take this dog and keep it somewhere. I have already told neighbor about this but nothing has changed. Please help me take this dog or I am going to kill this dog by feeding him poison. Please do something as early as possible.

Stray Dogs — late night barking and biting

Dear Sir,
I Ms.Maria Makrani Abdul Rahim staying in Evershine Maple building no:7 near cinemax theater Beverly park kanakia Mira road east thane 401107.I request you to take away the stray dogs from our area because they are barking whole night.There are about 10 to 12 stray dogs in our area.When the people are coming late from the office they are barking on them and biting them.Even when the small children's are playing on the ground in the evening or when the senior citizens are coming in the evening for a walk on the ground these stray dogs are barking on them and biting them.From these stray dogs our whole society have been got irritated.From the bark of these stray dogs we could not sleep whole night.Sir I humbly request you to take away these stray dogs from our area so that we the people of Evershine Maple building no:5,6,7 can be free and sleep properly at night.
