my order was placed on Mar 23 and it was a pre paid order. They shipped it as promised however the shipped returned with a reason that receiver refused to receive even though i did not refuse now i have been calling stringandme since 10 days, no body is picking up the calling and i have mailed several times nobody is replying back. this is so frustrating that for RS 850 they are doing this. They are running a fake and cheat bussiness. i need...

first of all.. the site provides only one customer care number that too is a mobile number. They dont pick up calls more than half the number of times and sometimes they cut your calls. Yes! They cut your calls. Not only this, for about two days after ordering and paying the full amount no order details or tracking code was sent. After constant calls and emails when they finally responded with the tracking code..it dint work! The website says codes may take upto 24 hours before reflecting online but it took way longer !finally The shipment got delayed than the promised date! Not only this..when you send them an email complaining about this, They sent me a insulting rude email back saying this wud b the last email they wud be sending me..do whatever you can" extremely poor customer care! Very rude and the products are not delivered at the promised dates. Not recommended at all.

Dear Customer,

This post is factually correct on 1 part which is the tracking code took far too long to update on Bluedart site (which btw was also an error on part of Bluedart and not ours specifically, verifiable records for the same also available). We agree on that part and apologize for inconvenienced caused due to delay in tracking of consignment.

Customer here has only provided a very selective set of pictures and we believe it is inappropriate to do so when showing a full picture. We wont get into multiple pictures but let us layout the full story from our side. First and foremost the consignment is tracking and can be verified by anyone looking to do so. Customer has attached an older picture of AWB tracking. Also only 1 mail
out of the multiple mails sent/received has been quoted.

Customer was mailed on the email ID ordered from with shipping details on the 6th itself. The order was placed on 4th night and 5th being a holiday on account of Holi, the order was shipped on the 6th.

The website mentions (and also so does the mail) that it takes 5-6 working days for delivery. Which would exclude Sunday the 8th of March and also the holiday on 5th and 7th on account of Holi an operations holiday respectively (same being mentioned on the website).

Customer thereafter mailed on the 7th from 1 ID seeking details and asking for it to be delivered by Monday the 9th of March, to which our response was it should deliver by Tuesday. But definitely not Monday. This was given past experience of delivery in 2 working days in Mumbai usually. However that is also not our "promised" delivery date which was 5-6 working days still. Despite this reply, a new mail (from another mail ID ) was sent saying we are not responding to calls, and that we will be sued (the new mail ID had no record of any order on our system). Therefore we mailed back to this new ID saying it appears that you have mailed us wrongly as we have no payment from your end. Thereafter customer confirmed that that was their alternative ID (the ID ordered from was replied to just 2 hours before the mail stating we would be sued).

Customer insisted on suing us for what clearly was no fault of ours as holidays were mentioned on the website, and that mails were sent for both shipping as well as replied to (contrary to claim of no reply or update).

Since customers approach was to proceed with an extreme step / threat, which we thought was being highly unfair and inappropriate, we mailed stating this would be our last mail (after query was answered already) and that the customer was free to sue us since it was no fault of ours and therefore had no reason to worry about.

The mail was not intended to be rude, and if the same is what was felt by the customer the same is regretted. The aim was to resolve query and not reply to threats and thus the mail (Which has been selectively quoted).

    i bought a under garment in this useless site they are cheats they show something in the picture and sending something...

    Please don't buy anything in this site which is not at all worthy for Rs.10 also...www.Stringsandme.com

    Through www.snapdeal.com i bought this both are cheating site...don't buy clothes in any online sites other than electronic items
