Sulekha.com — Complaint regarding a verified business registered on Sulekha.com

Dear Sulekha,

I had used your services for Packers and Movers. I had booked a vendor who is registered and verified by you by company name 'Laxmi Packers and Movers'.

While with the first interaction with the owner, he seemed to be fine and a decent guy. Therefore I agreed to take his services for shifting my house on 14 August for which I paid INR 500 in advance as token money.

Just one day before 14 August, he called and said that he would be unable to arrange for a truck on 14 Aug. So I was forced to look out for someone else as I had to shift on that day only.

I asked him to refund my token amount as the owner was unable to provide me services to which he agreed. But after following up with him several times and later no response, I am unable to get the token amount back!

You need to help me out here as I have been struggling to get my money back as the owner is not responding at all!

Please find the screenshots attached for your reference. I am even attaching the proof of payment!

I am surprised that the business is verified by you and there is no where we can raise a complaint on your portal to get the issue resolved.

Either you delete his listing as I don't want other to suffer and loose money like this!

Pathetic customer services! They aren't ready to take any action against the vendor as they will loose out on the revenue from them!
