[Resolved]  Sun Direct — re-installation of dish complaint registration : cw[protected]

Hi MR/MRS,

I myself Loganathan and my registered mobile number is [protected].I am residing at S.Peiyapalayam, Tirupur district-641607

I am writing this mail to bring your attention to the issue that I faced today.

I opened a ticket SR[protected] yesterday, for the relocation of dish. I was informed about the fixation fee as Rs.250 and additional material charges by the sun direct customer service.

Technical service agent visited the house and relocated the dish, after that he asked for Rs.550 as his fee, after questioning him about the charges, he want atleast rs.500 . I was told by him that his fixation charge was rs.300 and he used 7metre airtel wire and screws, for that material he charged rs.200. He didnt even used the proper sun direct cable for extension.

I realised that he was cheating the service charge and called customer care to enquire about this, they suggested to provide the amount billed by the service technician and never bothered to inquire about the re-installation charges. I made a payment of rs.500 to him and I requested the customer service to register the complaint against the service technician . He clearly billed the higher amount for re-installation of the dish.

I asked the customer service to escalate the issue to the supervisor and registered a complaint on the same.CW[protected].

Later in the evening i got call from Tirupur Service center and they also realised and agreed that the agent billed higher amount and the agent's reason is he travelled a long distance to my area. Even though they realised the service agent mistake they didn't take any actions to settle this issue.

I request to enquire on this re-installation service charges and investigate the actual amount cost. I was not satisfied with his service and his cheating skill.

After your investigation and inquiry, if the service agent is found to be guilty, i need refund and a sincere apology for causing mental agony and wasting my time.

After your enquiry if you found the billed amount of rs.500 is correct for just relocating the dish to a nearby wall, I would like to have a bill of his service charge and the amount of the materials he used for challenging in the Consumer court, if this is not addressed.. Honestly, I am not satisfied with the service and expecting an investigation on this.

I received call from Service Head office and enquired about the issue. It got resolved and amount got refunded. Thanks for that.
