I have purchased sunflame gas stove model 4b hob, during january, 2018 with 1 year warranty, and after warranty period the stove was having problem of suddenly puts flame in the air above 1 feet from the burner.

I complained the same to service center and they attended the call on[protected] and the technician visited said that due to choking of food particles it will happen like that and cleaned the burner and told that upto 30 days if any problem reoccurs they will do free service.

Again after 1 week of service, the problem of burning flame in the air above the burner which spreads upto 1 feet around and making dangerous environment for explosion. I have the same issue to the service center to re-look into the issue and sensitivity of the problem, they have not taken it seriously until i escalated the issue over whatsapp (+[protected] to their manager, who promised and send the technician again on[protected], this time also the technician cleaned the stove externally and told the problem is resolved.

Again when we started using we noticed that the problem is still continuing and occurs randomly during usage. I sent an message to manager in whatsapp which is as below on[protected]:

Quote:

Sir, this is bring to your notice that in spite of two services the problem still continues, the gas stove burner abnormally caughts flames in the air which is very dangerous for the person cooking.

Your service people came twice to rectify the problem but it not solved, (First service done on[protected] and second service done on[protected] i am enclosing the service call sheet.

I am left with no option, other than to approach consumer forum, for the negligence and improper service which does not resolve the problem and seriousness of the accident due to burner problem. Before taking up the issue with the consumer forum, i taught to inform you.

For the above message manager responded as below:

Sir,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused, we will resolve the problem on a priority basis.

And he sent another technician who tried to open the stove but unable to do so and told that it appears some internal part may be defective and to replace the same it may cost nothing less than rs.4, 000 to rs. 5, 000 and depending on the no o[censored]nits defective which may go upto 4 times.

He told full assessment will be given once the stove is opened at their service center and he told that he will arrange a standby and call us so that we need to take the stove to their service center.

Since we do not have a standby i asked him can we use the stove till the standby provided, he told yes you can use without any problem.

On[protected], as a preventive measure we are not using the burner which is having the problem. But while cooking, a big bang happened and wide spread flames aroused in the kitchen, my wife ran outside the kitchen to protect herself. After recovering from the shock we removed the gas stove and kept in the store and purchase a new gas stove.

Taking into consideration of the above, i would like to submit the following:

1) is the model sunflame 4 hob model is safe to use or not

2) how can sunflame sell such inferior and dangerous product to customer and provide service with such irresponsible technicians who dont know how to repair the stove.

3) to have a look on all the models of sunflame model gas stove whether they are fit to use as per the guidelines of the home appliance usage, especially inflamable appliances.

4) i would like to file a case with compensation and relief for rs.50, 000/- due to negligence caused by sunflame which may cost the life of my family.

    It is bring to your notice that a 3 stove sunflame burner was purchased by me on 25.11.2018 from new jindal crockery house, sco-8, sector-10, panchkula. I had put up a complaint in this regard in the past but no any response has been received from your end. I am being harassed by you as you are not bothering in my complaint.       I buyed sunflame 4 burner glass stove on 23/09/2018.I started using this gas stove recently and within one week only today it got burst while I was cooking..luckily I went in some other room for some work and suddenly it burst..no one was hurt that was the best part..but it blast very badly it was dam risky anything could happen..please take legal action regarding this and resolve this problem as soon as possible.

        I have bought sunflame pride glass manual gas stove from flipkart on dated 3rd jan 2019.

        To my shock the black glass top blusted and shattered, luckly my wife and child was little far away from the stove when it blust.

        I have attached pictures of the damage stove for reference.

        I need a replacement of the same product.

        Kindly update me at the earliest.

          Today, we were making food on the glass stove.in the presence of 4 people it breaks with blast and pieces were scattered around kitchen. This is dangerous. What if the broken pieces fall in food. It can hit the body as well because the intensity was very high. Almost 20 feet away some pieces were found. So, think how big blast was it. The company should take responsibility for this. Or stop making customers fool.

            The service provided by the sunflame for its appliances is worst. If they cannot provide the service to the customers why don't they stop making the products. I registered a complaint regarding glass top of four burner gas but no one was available to register a complaint and service centers that are registered on the sunflame site said that instead of replacement of glass top why do not you buy the new gas.. So unprofessional behavior. After calling several times and mailing to customer-care at sunflame one service engineer came to our house took money and never came back. Please stop making sunflame products as well as close the service centers . They are good for nothing. Only wasting consumers time and money.

              When we open the knob of burner it sounds very highly. When we turn on the lighter suddenly it gives huge flame. It’s very dangerous so we afraid and not using the stove. There is a high risk of fire as it suddenly discharge the huge amount of gas when knob of stove is opened to use it.If you are ignoring to attend the complain let we know or suggest the nearby your authorised service centre.

                We purchased sunflame venza 60 ss bf on 3.9.2018. Two months ago it suddenly stopped working. On complaint technician found the motor had gone out of working. We had to make lot of follow-ups with local centre and even lot of calls to customer care. Nevertheless finally technician replaced the motor. But now we are observing that replaced motor does not pulling the entire steam and not working properly

                  This is to bring to the notice of all that while working over the cooktop which has a glass top, the glass top burst with a loud sound and shattered glass pieces flew in all directions, some of which flew and pierced me. I then read on the net how others are facing similar issues. I discretely remember enquiring about the safety of the glass top while buying the stove. And I was told it is a heavy duty glass and completely safe. I want to bring forth the fact that this is completely untrue and a mere reassurance. It is very hazardous to use this stove. Iam surprised that the company is still manufacturing such defective products which bear risk of causing grievous hurt and permanent damage to various organs of the body like eyes. It is criminal and I demand an explanation for the rationale of manufacturing and selling such faulty products.

                    Sir, i have purchased a fan on 01 Sep 2017 with warranty of 30 months..now my fan became unserviceable since two days ago...i took it to sunflame service center and handed over fan with warranty card but they r asking for bill also as i puchased it through csd and all the details of fan are written on warranty card with csd stamp but then also they r saying that they will confirm ...i felt very bad bcz at the time of purchase Ur representative at csd told me that u keep Ur warranty card now Ur rep asking for bill also thats not fair...it means its double standard one o[censored]r rep ask for only warranty card n other for bill also means its Ur bussion style or something else...index no of my fan is 020960 and sl no is 17A02354...plz instruct Ur rep for proper n fast response at bikaner rajasthan.

                      The Oven alongwith Four Gas Burners need servicing as the Burners are not giving the required flame and facing lot of difficulties while cooking food. . Request to attend to the defect and do servicing. If there is any other defect the same may also be attended to .contact [protected]/[protected].

                      We are expecting some guests today in the evening and lot of food etc. is to be prepared . The oven along with four gas burners is Sun Flame Make and old one . Request to attend to this immediately on priority basis so that there should not be any problem for us .

                        I purchased the sunflame glass cooktop 2 months back. While cooking, the glass on the Cooktop suddenly bursted and small pieces of glass injured the face and hand of my wife ..also small pieces of glass spread all over the foods kept by side..

                        Thank god the injury was small but it could hit the eyes as well. This is big quality issue in Sunflame glass Cooktop. Request you to please replace it with a new one...

                        Such a poor response from a branded company like sunflame..still no solution provided and pepole are also not responding...when will i get the solution..we are facing so much problem due to broken glasses and people are not bothering to even revert

                            Dear team,

                            I had bought a gas burner of sunflame in the month of january, whose glass top broke due to heat in just 3 month, i had made a complain regarding this one of the engineer visit and said will update after 1 month, but yet not recieved any response. It had past 3 months now the shopkeeper nor the service provider is responding.
                            Is this the service of the company. The worst company it is my gas burner is lying as it is till now who will bear this loss.

                              I have bought sunflame chimney and made installation request on 10th may 2019, my complaint no. Is which i got from call center [protected] and my mobile no. Is [protected]
                              Super poor service of sunflame call centre. It shocking that call centre executives continue disconnecting the calls, when i complaint, ms. Neha very casually replied that this is technical problem they cant do anything, talked to ms. Neha, rahul, gaurav but no talking etiquette, poor calling skill. I have made request to install sunflame chimney i missed the service engineer call, but when i called back to that guys he told me that he would not come today now and come tomorrow but when i call him again tomorrow he refused to come and tell me that somebody else would come. However, no body turn on so far, called more than five time but no solution and when i asked that i wanted to talk your seniors ms. Neha told me that we have no senior available this time, call us later. This is so ridiculous that they don’t want to solve customers complaints anyhow.

                                My self paras khurana. I ve bought sunflame gas stove pride 3 ss burner 8 month ago. Today suddenly glass blasts and cracked into small pieces. It is very serious problem for the person actually using it. As further researched it is very common problem in sunflame stoves. The company should be very serious in this matter. Not only me everyone can face this problem who is using or willing to use. Kindle resolve the issue.

                                  A new cooking range was purchased in nov 5th, 2018 & it was installed in the first week of dec, 2018. Subsequently the large burner hasn't been working ever since it was bought. After registering complaints service people come and supposedly repair it but the problem persists. The last complaint was registered on 20/04/2019 at 1:20 pm with a rahul. Complaint number is all [protected]. I specifically mentioned that this unit was purchased for my 92 year old mother in law and that someone should come asap to repair it. Was told that within 24-48 hours someone would come after calling. But there has been neither a call nor has anyone come. Since this unit is well within warranty i would like that either the unit gets repaired once and for all, or then it gets replaced. Cannot have it being repaired every now and then

                                    Despite enormous calls to the service guy he is not visiting my home for servicing of sunflame chimney n hub coz of which my parents are facing problems.. It has been a month now requesting him to visit our place.. N frm few days he is not even answering my call.. Kindly arrange to send someone asap for fixing things..
                                    I hv purchased entire sunflame range from m/s bigboss sgr n i am residing at hilal abad qamarwari, sector no 2.

                                      I ordered a gas stove double burner classic 2b ss toughened glass cooktop manual ignition on 26th march 2019 through paytm mall. Product delivered on 1st april 2019 is crystal model with no isi approval.

                                      I was out of station when it was delivered. Upon return today i see the difference in the model plus alarmingly no isi approval.

                                      Indane has denied to give me gas connection because it is no isi compliant.

                                      I have tried calling paytm helpline since morning but it continuously says all lines are busy. And numbers of sunflame listed on their website were responded once at 2 pm by some staff who said call at 2.30 after lunch and banged the phone. Thereafter, no one has responded to further calls.

                                      I have in the interim written to paytm, but have received no response. I have also written on the customer connect page on sunflame website, do not know if anyone will respond.

                                      Big mistake that i purchased any product online. All crooks. The site selling it as well as the company selling it.

                                      If the product can be replaced with an isi certified product through this site, will still have some faith in some system. If not, well, the less said, the better. We all know.

                                        This is to update that while working in the kitchen the glass top of sunflame cooktop blasted and broke into pieces. That time my wife was working in the kitchen, but she somehow was saved although the glass pieces were spread across the kitchen.                                         WOuld like to update the organization that the glass top has been replaced yesterday after paying 2500 for the glass and 250 as the visiting charges. This is to update you that i am going to file a complaint in the consumer forum against the organization as blasting of glass could have caused fatal, it is our good fortune that we were saved... This act comes under the Life Hazard where the company does not charge anything but gets the things working at the earliest... I am also going to share this message across on the social media forum that the SUNFLAME as an organization is one of the CHEAT companies.
