Sunflame Enterprises — Sunflame glass top burst into pieces and blasted off high in air | |||||
Yesterday morning (16th july 2016), my wife was cooking food (Idly) at kitchen suddenly glass broken into air with a big blast noise. I thank to almighty god that my wife was not seriously hurt but flying glass hit her hard causing minor injury. Since then my wife is in pain and mental agony. This is really not expected from the trusted brand like sunflame. Our family had been using sunflame products only for number of years without any problem and had lot of faith. My wife always have been using the stove as per manually written instructions only and she also has been using our microwave convenction-back-griller oven for cooking food items at the same time. I have purchased sunflame 3b-bk-ai crystal curve toughened glass cooktop online through snapdeal “ invoice number :b47768/14-15/1118 and invoice date :29-sep-2014” with two years warranty. First i called your sunflame faridabad number - +[protected]. They asked me to call at customer care numer[protected]. They gave me the indore service centre number –[protected]. I called this number and requested to check this issue and provide the replacement and repair. The same engineer (The name perhaps - rajeev) came to my home in evening. He told us that the stove not under warranty to replace the glass and informed us the charges of inr1800 for glass plus service charges. He took the stove with him yesterday with a promise of repairs within one week with these charges to be paid. He did not provide any service report or anything, which he was not carrying. Sunflame needs to note down the complaint and solve our this issue with best to our satisfaction and without any charges to us. was cooking in your Sunflame 3 burner toughned glass. Suddenly there was a huge noise and glass shattered into pieces. I did not expect such a nonsense from a branded co like yours. Kindly arrange to pick up your stove and refund us the invoice value. Otherwise we shall go to consumer forum since such incidence is life threatening.
