[Resolved] Sunstar Club — Club could not give hotel booking and not even refunding money | |||||
I got call from sunstar club to have meeting in hyatt, ahmedabad.in meeting they demonstrated about new club and option of hotel stay 12 nights every year for 20 years. I had some doubt so they gave option to pay rs. 15, 000 and get experience of one property for 2 night. I booked hotel lila and they gave one letter of booking after few follow up. But when i confirm with hotel, there is no such booking either on my name or with club's name or any other name they kept. Sales people keep on saying it will be done and just go and visit but i cannot invest flight ticket for this. When i go and meet ceo of club, he clarify that sales people gave wrong commitment and they cannot afford to give booking in this amount. I still tried that give booking in madhuban resort. But they again say day i asked is not available. Earlier they were saying 2 rooms are always booked for their name and they can give any time even today. Their ceo agreed to cancel the membership and give refund. He called me at office. But in their office again they started give application, it will go in process. I asked for date for refund and they gave one date but after 1 week of that date also they are not giving refund.in this whole process they don’t reply in email and now they also don’t answering calls. This shows that it is possibly fraud attempt and they are creating 10 members every day and getting 1.5 lac from them. They may give couple of night but after that on one day they will shut down everything. Was this information helpful? | |||||
Sep 19, 2016 Complaint marked as Resolved They agreed to give my money back. It was wrong commitment from their one sales person but otherwise club is good and my in-lows also joined this.

This guy sandip karia is a big fraud.he had done same thing with our company mahindra holidays.he had paid 16, 850 Rs to us and is asking us to give him new year cruise booking at Singapore. Cruise cost itself is coming to 48, 000...in fact a consumer complaint should be launched against such a fraud customer itself...Avinash Jha branch head

Agreed a guy named sandip karia has also booked a split AC with Croma electronics and is asking for discount on name of slow service within a month...is this the same guy ?

Avinash jha knows everything happening in the world who is purchasing from Croma and mahindra holidays and other places. Don't make people fool. Don't invest in the Sunstar club.

please provide me the contact detail/email id of sunstar club ceo/director if you have...they were to provide the membership card and other benefit details on letterhead in 10 days but 25 days gone and there is no revert.

Same thing with me. They are neither giving the agreement nor deliverables as promised and have taken the money also. Better inquire before investing. Follow up also does not help as they are giving evasive replies

hello this is the MANISH TRIVEDI from the Ahmadabad and i had a booked before 3 days for J.W.MARRIOTT at MUMBAI and I got a booking from the SUN STAR THE CLUB and I enjoyed a lot in this 5 star hotel.I fully enjoyed with my family and i have a memorable experience with my family and i thanks to SUN STAR THE CLUB And i am a very satisfied with the SUN STAR THE CLUB facilities. I refer to all for the membership.

But have you cheched authenticity Sunstar club and is that for real / fake, because i have few relatives / cousins made use of the free booking being provided by Sunstar across J W Marriot, Mumbai and Some fivestar hotel in Goa... I'm now really confused if my cousin's spending are worth it or gone dumped.

I have also became member of SunStar The Club(Goodluck Hotes Pvt Ltd), but my entire money is on stake as these guys are not giving booking nor refunding money. Yes they might be providing bookings to very few of the members so there is no surge in complaints. These guys are big cheaters.
I have already filed a complain against them in Consumer Forum, but they are not responding to them also. If their business is right then they must revert to Consumer Forum. By not reverting to complains they are passing clear message that they are not here for healthy and ethical business.

Fraud Company. All the staff are fraud. they dont give any booking though i[censored] try to book before a week or month. they just took money and now dont receive my calls. if you keep calling they add ur number in blacklist i[censored] try another number and they know that its same client they add that number to blacklist as well. now i am doing police complain and registering a case of 420.
Hi Jshah & Jenish...Myself Sumant from Mumbai. Today (12 Feb'17) SunStar Club had organised a presentation with free buffet at Grand Sarovar Hotel, Mumbai based in Goregaon (W). I had paid amt of Rs 1, 40, 000 upfront for 12 nights plan / year for 20 yrs along with DAE offer benefit. They said that they will send the kit at our residence in 10-12 days. I checked with Sarovar Hotel and they are saying that they dont have any tie-up with SunStar for rooms. Their tie-up is only for the Banquet. I am also tensed as I paid a huge amt.

hi this is Sandeep Verenkar i had experienced the Sunstar club as they had collabrations with all 5 star properties and hotels are too good as compared to country club & Sterling. all properties are nearby. Best part is no maintainance and no seasons bookings are easily done. good trip to JW Marriot and hotel JP Agra Palace with my wife and twins.

Sunstar is a totally fake company.I have taken the membership on 26 Dec 2016 in Jaipur.I came to know this is a fraud company so I cancelled the membership and asked the Sunstar club to refund the said amount as per the policy of the company.Now they are not picking my call and add my number in blacklist.Now I am going to register Complain against the company.
Sunstar club has all the signs of a fake company written all over it. Please don't invest your money in this company. The salesperson(Jabir) who sold me the deal has resigned(!!). Their customer service desk is a shambolic operation. THIS IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY. I don't want any one else to lose their money on such fraudsters.
I have enrolled the membership on 12 Feb 2017 and even send an email on 15 Feb 2017 for cancellation but till date (7 march 2017) no reply from them as well no feedback about my refund.
So better avoid to have membership.

They would go down to any price as low as 50000/- for 20 years... imagine just 50000/- bucks for 20 years for around 25-30 properties. IN THAT too 12, 24 or 36 night's free.
Their main agenda is to make you fool and make u shell out at least 15 - 20000 bucks from your pocket the moment you enter in presentation area. Yeah.. they offer free dinner for your family in return of time you invested.
I did enjoy their courtsey dinner though ;)
