I am Dr. Mohini, had contacted Dr. Sachin Shah for an emergency of my 6 yr old nephew. After getting him admitted there, the patients parents faced a lot of problems there, the staff wasn't paying attention. Staff not responding quickly to pt call. Pt Had 103 temp & nurses said wait we are busy. Later we were requesting for a room change, but no one was ready to help on this. They made me move around from one counter to other but of no use. Finally we took a DAMA discharge. Later Dr. Sachin Shah called me personally & said Dr. Mohini why is your patient taking DAMA, I told him all the issues that we faced, but he got irritated at me & said "Dr. Mohini, I did a mistake by giving your patient admission in my hospital today morning." This was very rude of him to say such things to a patient's relatives. We paid Rs. 40000/- cash as advance payment, which the hospital has not even refunded immediately. Dr. Sachin Shah couldn't understand the genuine issues faced by the pt & his relatives, instead he said he did a big mistake by giving us admission in his Hospital. We dint get admitted free of cost. This kind of attitude of a senior consultant is very wrong. That too he spoke like this to me who is also a doctor by profession. Dr. Sachin Shah needs to understand that the patients & their relatives are not anyone whom he can humiliate. I request to have a good solution on this issue. Was this information helpful? |
