I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the poor service experience and lack of customer support I have received from SVM Motors Pvt. Ltd., Madavakkam Tank Road, Ayanavaram, Chennai – 600012.
Vehicle Details:
Vehicle Number: TN04 AZ 4789
Service Date: 02 June 2026
Job Card Number: 87195
This issue dates back to my previous service visit on 27 March 2026. During that visit, I was advised to replace the battery, front tyre, and handlebar. However, I was informed that the handlebar was not in stock. As a result, I postponed the replacement of all three parts and requested the concerned staff to inform me once the handlebar became available. Unfortunately, I never received any update or follow-up communication from your team.
Subsequently, I brought my bike back to the service center on 02 June 2026 to replace the battery, front tyre, and handlebar. At the time of vehicle drop-off, I was assured that the bike would be ready by 4:00 PM on the same day.
However, even after 4:00 PM, I did not receive any update regarding the status of my vehicle. I repeatedly tried contacting the service center between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, but most of my calls went unanswered. Although one of the landline numbers was attended, the representative was unable to provide any information regarding my vehicle status.
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service. If the vehicle was handed over in the morning and a delivery commitment was provided for the same day, I expect proactive updates in case of any delays. Keeping customers uninformed and not responding to calls is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.
This has been one of the worst service experiences I have encountered. My concerns are not only about the delay but also about the complete lack of ownership and communication from the service team.
I request:
An immediate update on the current status of my vehicle.
An explanation for the delay and lack of communication.
Appropriate action to improve customer service and prevent similar incidents in the future.
I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this matter.
Regards,
Baskar
