On[protected], I attempted to make a purchase using the Swiggy app for an order amount of Rs. 572. Unfortunately, the transaction failed, and the payment was not processed. However, to my dismay, the corresponding amount was debited from my account, resulting in a double charge for that particular order.
After waiting for a week without getting the refund, I approached their customer care team via the live chat feature on your app. Regrettably, I had an extremely unpleasant experience with your customer care representative. Instead of addressing my concerns and providing a suitable resolution, the chat abruptly ended without any proper explanation of my questions regarding my issue. His name was Aaronpeter, and he was telling me to contact my bank for the refund, which I already did and got confirmation from the bank that Swiggy had successfully received both payments several weeks ago.
Even after multiple emails to them about this issue, they are just rejecting the refunds without any explanations. Considering the aforementioned events, I am left with no choice but to take serious action against Swiggy for not only the inappropriate behaviour exhibited by your customer care representative but also for wasting my time and energy and causing unnecessary frustration.
