Swiggy
I have placed an order on 16th may 2023 at 08:30 pm. I have paid Rs. 824/- for my order. There was certain netwrk issue so the delivery boy couldnt contact me, the delivery boy told swiggy that he was in my area and couldnt contact me i did not recieve any missed calls from the delivery boy.it showed on the app that my order will be delivered within 10 minutes. But while delivering the order, he got the cancellation message from swiggy, which was also received my me. The message was that "Your Swiggy order #[protected] has been cancelled since you failed to respond to our delivery executive's calls. You will be charged Rs 824.0 as cancellation fee". I was surprised to see that message. Then I chat with Ms.Sunitha and told her all the problems I faced. But neither my order was delivered nor the deducted amount was refunded in my account. The whole incident had spoiled my night and was nightmare to me.
I asked from Swiggy that why should I not move to consumer court for compensation for their unprofessional behaviour. Due to that incident, I could not slept whole night and felt very bad.
I request to compensate me for yesterday incident and send me appology letter for this.
