Swiggy — failure to refund failed order amount | |||||
Extremely annoyed and disappointed by the swiggy's customer service team. I placed an order on august 8, 2018 (Order id: [protected]) but the app did not place an order despite payment being deducted. When i contacted the customer service, they told me it will take 2-4 days for the refund to be initiated. When i called them after 4 days, a rep by the name of christina told me that it will take another 48 hours since saturday and sunday are not working days. I waited for another 2 days and contacted a rep by the name of piyush mondal on 20th august. At this point they simply told me that swiggy has not received the payment and asked me to contact the bank for the same. They made me wait for almost two weeks just to give me the information they could have provided on the first day itself. This is highly unethical and incompetent. I expect a refund immediately from swiggy as promised during my first interaction. Was this information helpful? | |||||
