I ordered food for 15 people (Chicken and Paneer Rolls) for an office party from a restaurant called 'Six Degrees' through Swiggy. As per Swiggy, the restaurant has a rating of 4.0 stars based on 1000+ reviews. Therefore, I had no reason to doubt that the food quality would be abysmal and I will be delivered stale food. First of all, the packaging was such poor grade with no labels on vegetarian and non-vegetarian food packets. We had to open packets individually to check which one was Chicken and which one was Paneer. However, as soon as we opened the packets, the entire room started stinking and I became anxious about the quality of the food. I had invited my supervisors to the party. A few people who tried the food spitted it out because it was also tasting stale. I requested everyone to throw away the food and apologised to everyone for having no food to serve them. I wish nobody has to face this embarassment in their lives which Swiggy made me go through and when I complained and asked for a full refund, which is the least they can do to make amends but they kept saying they cant. I ask why should I pay for stale food? They also refused to give my a complaint ID but the order ID for this was #[protected] dated 26.08.2022
