[Resolved] Swiggy — swiggy charged for undelivered food | |||
I am a regular customer of swiggy. On 23rd nov 19 i have ordered 2 mutton chap from shiraz golden restaurant, park street around 7.50pm. The order came after much late at 10.10pm and that too with wrong item. The delivery man bought 2 biriyanis instead of chap. I asked him to get the right order. He said that can not be done, you speak to customer care. I spoke with customer care and they asked me to cancel my order (Screenshot enclosed). They confirmed my order has been cancelled and i will get refund in 2 hours. On 24th nov 19, i find i have not got the refund and hence contacted customer care with all details. After a prolonged effort, customer care executive again assured me about refund in next 2 hours (Screenshot enclosed). On 25th nov 19, i again found that refund has not been given and hence i again contacted customer care. Upon a conversation over 50 mints they told your food was delivered and hence no refund can be made! I was surprised like anything. After a prolonged argument with the customer care executive, nothing figured out. Even he disagreed to take that delivery man on call. I am really disappointed with this. I incurred a loss of rs 440.
