On 7th April morning I (Divya Bharti) placed an order through swiggy app for order ID:[protected]. However, despite waiting for more than an hour, my order was not delivered.
To my surprise, I received a notification that my order had been marked as delivered. I immediately contacted Swiggy customer service team and informed them of the situation. The representative assured me that the issue would be resolved and that I would receive a full refund for the amount charged.
However, when I checked my account, I found that no refund had been processed. I contacted swiggy customer service team again, and after several follow-ups, I was informed that my refund request had been denied due to a policy that stated that refunds could not be processed for orders that were marked as delivered. They can't show me any proof that the order was delivered to me.
This response is completely unacceptable as I did not receive my order, and therefore, it is unjust to charge me for it. It is clear that there was a mistake on the part of swiggy delivery team, and I should not have to bear the consequences of their error.
I want them provide me with a full refund as soon as possible and also the associated mental agony cost they made me to go through. I am deeply disappointed with the way this situation has been handled, and I hope that they will take steps to ensure that this does not happen to other customers in the future.
