Swiggy — worst customer care service - improper deduction of money | |||
Order id: [protected] I had ordered few food items worth 583 rs yesterday. The delivery time was showing a eta of 35 mins odd. As i tracked the order, i found that a delivery guy named sumanth ([protected]) was assigned for this order. So after an hour i checked again the agent location was showing that the guy has traveled from the hotel towards my home and almost 10 km ahead which was strange. I convinced myself that there might be some other orders, but he could have delivered me first, as it was on the way.. Still with patience i called the guy, and he didnt respond correctly and disconnected the call, even though i could hear some of his known people around him laughing around. Waited for 10 minutes and called him again.. As it has been almost 2 hour... This time he said that he has met with an accident and got bruises. I got pissed off and said to cancel the order if he is not able to deliver. He said his mobile is also shattered. I seriously got irritated as i have been hungry and as i felt that i have being played over here. He proposed to send his accident pics as evidence through his friends phone (So friends were around).. I simply disconnected and went to the section (Where is my order?) in swiggy app.. This option is being disabled and leads to possible delays summary due to covid19 bla blah... So as the guy is not able to cancel, i cancelled it and clean cut 50% amount was deducted. (291 rs) I just raised a concern over the chat and came across a so so brilliant customer representative named "somen".. I explained him about the entire scenario.. And at last he said that, since you have cancelled i have to pay 50% as due.. Its not about money.. Neither they focused on the delivery guy (May be a real accident) nor about me (The so called super customer).. They were trying to save the 291 bucks... I had actually thought of ordering something else after cancelling.. Later after all this i gave up on swiggy.. God knows what swiggy's reputation is up to.. Misusing corona's name for lacking to meet customer satisfaction.. Stop delivering or stop giving lame excuses / rules... Was this information helpful? | |||
