Swiggy — Wrong Cancellation Fee Charged | |||
On 24th Sep, 2021 I placed an order[protected]. Soon after I placed it I realized I need to add one more item but I did not get any option.Within 3 minutes I cancelled the order to place another order with the extra item. For this I have been charged Rs. 444 (which was the order value) as cancelation fee. The restaurant did not even confirm the order by the time I cancelled it. I reached out to swiggy support for refund of the cancellation fees but I have been rejected 5 times. 4 times no valid reason was given for the rejection. Once I have been told that food was already prepared so cancellation fee can not be reversed. Is it a joke? Within 3 minutes restaurant already prepared the food? And I will be charged Rs. 444 for the food that never even reached me? After being a loyal customer of swiggy for more than 3 years, this is grossly unacceptable and unfair.
