Today i received a mail from Norton that my credit card has been debited for Rs.2199/-, I have not consented to this transaction which they claim is renewal. They have mentioned the order No. as AP[protected]. None of the customer service numbers listed work. Also if i click the option for a refund on their website it does not respond.
Symantec India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    This is cyber crime. I didn’t any of your agreement and also nothing i sign it.. I will never saved my credit card in your portal..
    This is fully motivated cyber crime... Theft of my money...
    I want my money refund.. And cancel over all norton registration my details.
    This is totally frustrated me... And mentally tourchered... I was mentally depressed...
    My last renewal... My next due is oct 2018.. I will lodge complaint... With compensation 500 lakes against norton and net prophets

      I am still waiting for a reply on my below query.

      I ordered for green track suit but blue was shipped and for my wife it was supposed to be black with white hand stripes, but shipped completely back color and size is also incorrect.

      Hence would like to return this order. I tried calling your toll free number[protected] but there is no voice playing at all its just blank.

        The product is faulty and an error message pops up whenever a mail is sent. I have lost of my company's time in trying to get this resolved with successive Norton executives taking over my system via remote but they are unable to resolve. Case number 30599399 from Norton is still open.

        Everyone in the company is facing this issue and there is unsatisfactory response from Norton. Before launching a defective product they should have at least tried it.

          Respected Sir/Ma’am,
          I am having my salary account in your bank branch for past 5.6 years. In first week of November’16 I received a SMS from IDBI Bank that my new ATM card with advanced security is dispatched. I never got that ATM card but I received the PIN number via post.
          On 3rd December’16 I came to the FC road branch and shared my concern. I was advised to fill a form for new ATM card with address change request, as my earlier address was Office address. I submitted the application to your branch on same day. I was assured that I will receive the ATM card within 7 days.
          I haven’t received the card yet and IDBI has already blocked my current ATM card on 5th December though I had not made any blocking request as such.
          I request you to issue me my ATM cum Debit card as soon as possible. I prefer to come to your branch to collect the card as I have lost trust in the medium that IDBI has hired to deliver my card.

              I have just received and checked my Master Card and noted that I was charged €84.99 by Norton Annual Renewal in LU. I have NOT AUTHORISED THIS PAYMENT. I have not renewed my subscription with Norton. Last January I paid €49.99 to DRI*Symantec but that was a once off. I need this matter resolved as soon as possible.

              This company has charged $39.99 / Rs. 1930 on 9th Nov 2009 while I have never purchased any thing from this company.

              Dri*Symantec — Anti Virus software

              My credit card account has been debited by the amount of ZAR562.54 on 3 Nov 2009. I only asked for a Norton renewal/upgrade which I did not get at that stage. I had to re-order afterwards to renew Norton. This is my second complaint and no signs of any credit to my credit card as yet. Please help!

                I purchased one (1) copy of Norton Scurity software for my computer on 12 March 2010. Order number [protected]. I just received my credit card statement and have been charged two (2) times for the same program.
                Credit my Master card with the $58.69 which I was charged for the second copy of software. I only received one copy of the software.

                NORTON SECURITY — NORTON SECURITY 360

                I PURCHASE THE NORTON 360 ALL IN VIRUS PROTECTION . EVER SINCE I DOWNLOAD TO TWO OF MY COMPUTER THEY GOT VERY VERY SLOW TAKES HOURS TO LOAD . ITS SO FUSTRATED. MY 12 YRS OLD SON FRETS WITH ME EVER TIME HE WANTS TO USE HIS COMPUTER. AND RESENTLY THE POPUP SCREEN KEEPS WAYING ITS OUTDATED.

                  I applied for Norton Anti Virus on line assuming I was buying it from Norton when my credit card statement came in a company DRI Luxembourg L charged 45 pounds 98 pence and all I can think it is for the anti virus. When I eventully found a phone number they informed me that I had a corruption on my computer and told me it would cost me 79 pounds to fix it.

                  Norton Antivirus — Charged $174.98 + $16.99 on Visa

                  I did click on notice to renew anti-virus coverage. The charges were not to be the amount charged on my Visa. Two years was $139.99.; charged was $191.97. This transaction was[protected].

                  I ordered the 30 day free trail because I would be getting a $10 discount......after 30 days they charged my account for $64.99 (which was the correct amount) and on the same day they charged my account $74.99....there is no contact information for these people to dispute...thank God for Bank of America, they took care of this for me right away.

                  My computer has a virus called "CARD.EXE". I cannot remove it, and my Norton 360 does not recognize it as a virus. I contacted tech support in the form of a CHAT technician. I explained my issue and requested assistance. As I am a Norton subscriber for many years, I expected free assistance to resolve a problem that should have been prevented by Norton in the first place. Instead of real help, the technician told me that I should go to Norton's virus diagnosis and removal Web site and get their "fee based assistance". I told the tech that I paid for Norton to identify and remove such viruses every time I renew my subscription, and they owe it to me to take care of this one they let slip through. The tech could offer no more help than that, so I told the tech that I was going to complain to an Internet forum, and terminated the chat session.

                    Received computer notification on 1/11/10 that my Norton anti-virus was ineffective; needed to update. My credit card was charged $60.59 on 1/13/10. I continue to receive messages from Norton anti-virus that I have viruses, need to update.

                    Since paying for virus protection by creditcard on 02/05/2009, $79.99, online. l have had nothing but trouble,originally my Norton Anti virus was great, when asked to renew l didnt hesitate, what a mistake, it constantly tells me, l have no protection! l have been on the Norton Protection Centre site to try and get help, but due to the deletion, of some of my emails, l do not have the product number or code, but, l do have my credit card statement which tells me l have paid.lwould apppreciate your help in this matter, as obviously l havent had protection for 4 months, even though l paid.Thanking you Tomma Williams..................

                    DRI Symantec Generic — Paid for two downloads, got only one

                    On June 25, 2009, I ordered and paid $56.98 on my B of A Credit Card for the the Norton Anti Virus and the extra speed utilities download to improve my computer speed from Symantec. I was able to download the Anti Virus ok, but the companion Utilities download did not happen. I have tried several times to resolve this issue with no response from Symantec. Obviously, I will NEVER AGAIN do business with a company that does not do business over the telephone. This is rediculous that I paid for this merchandise and cannot get in touch with anyone to get what I ordered!

                          I was billed twice for a one year subscription to the Norton Security System on my credit card both on Aug. 4, 2009. $79.99 both times and it was supposed tobe aspecial. I also did not want the extra $9.99 but was billed any way.

                              My credit card was debited twice; the anti virus product slowed down my computer and I have to remove it from my computer two weeks later shortly after it was down loaded to my computer.

                              Secondly I notice that credit card was debited a second time for $ 40.31, with out any knowledge for the reason of the charge.                                 Hi,
                                I had left my job at Symantec, Pune in October 2008 and along with it I withdrew my EPF. I have got an acknowledgement from Symantec that my papers to withdraw the EPF were submitted to the epfo.

                                I have not received the money yet. I have moved out of Pune and I do not know how to enquire about the status of my epf account.

                                My EPF number is MH/31860/2921.

                                Please guide me.

                                Symantec — Order I did not place

                                On, Oct. 26, 2009 64.99 was taken from my acct. twice by your company. I have not ordered anything from you and as a matter of fact, I had called you 1 month age and asked that my current static as a customer be canceled due to the lack of a computer. Apparently the protection I did have with Norton and Symantec did not catch the virus that attacked and distroyed my mother board while under protection from your company. On that membership I still had 6 months left. Now, you have charged me for 2 more memberships I did not order.
                                Please return my money to my checking account and cancel these un athorized transactions. If this is not back into my acct by the time I fly home tomoorow I will be filing an idenity theft complaint with my police dept and naming your company as the thief.

                                  I have been charged for this product which I did not order. I ordered a Norton Security update because my system continued with alert notices interrupting my work. The order was online for a reasonable $25. update.

                                  totaling $75.85. Why am I being charged an additional $69.99? My order # is VAB30960593. On my

                                  Please look into this extra charge and have my credit card debited. I will be following up on this charge.
                                  I just recently updated my Norton Antivirus. What do you know I got charged an extra 35.99 for symantec and I want a refund.

                                  I purchased the Verizon Netbook and ordered the Norton 360 for $114.99 for three computers which was offered when I turned on the Netbk the first time. I downloaded it (no other computers yet) and it won't install. It just keeps running and telling me to restart my computer. I have no protection! I can't get the window closed nor get it to install. I was then charged $260.40 (in addition to my $114.99) on my bill which I don't intend to pay. I can't even get your product to work on one of the three computers why would I pay for more? I am really annoyed with having traveled for four days and every time I turn the netbook on, I get an annoying window that won't close and tells me to restart the computer only to have it start up and supposedly re-install. I would like someone to contact me and explain. If I don't hear from someone or receive a contact number to talk to an English speaking person, I will consider canceling the amount on my credit card as I don't have the product nor can use the product.                                   It appears you guys are less than honest with your sales practices. I ordered an update of Norton 360 for $59.00. My card was charged $119.00. How does this happen??? I would not have ordered the product at that price. I want a refund of the $50.00 overage.

                                  How do you stay in business with practices like this. It will be my last order with Norton if I am not authorized a refund and I will tell everyone I know to check the complaint site out to show your companies foolish business practices!

                                  This was a yearly fee which they now say has expired after 3 and a half months.I will not deal with this company again.

                                  On 10/08/09, I updated my norton anti-virus protection for $69.98. After ordering, I received notice that my norton anti-virus protection had expired. I have not been able to get any confirmaiton as to why this happened. I received my credit card statement today and this is the company name that was credited for my virus protection. Please advise me what to do about this.

                                  About 13 months ago I purchased an HP Laptop containing the use of Norton security for one year. Using my credit card I recently extended the basic coverage for an additional year at the listed price of $29.99. My credit card however, was charged $69.99.

After Norton was renewed I noticed chaarges on my Visa which I did not agree to. Then I started having trouble getting into the internet. On doing a little research on the charges on my Visa I found out that the charges stemmed from Norton and Symantec and NVIDIA which were installed on my laptop.                                   When I try use and download the program the computer acted treating my computer to be impossibe to run. As soon as I took the program off my computer by using theADD Remove program. Therefore I think that the charge should be taken off my credit card Discover.
                                  I purchase on 11/19/2009 Norton 360 Premier Edition and my AMEX card was debit on 11/20/2009 for $88.54.
                                  The CD for this product arrived while I was in the hospital for heart surgery and therefore could not activate it until December 10th when I arrived home from the hospital (of course due to not being able to I did not try until later when I improved enough). When I have tried to enter the Product Key (TH8C3-VPK6W-KJ788-643KY-9MC7R) It says this is an invalid number.

                                  Either cancel my order #[protected] and credit my card or give me a new product key at no cost.

                                  I have tried to find a telephone number to reach you for days and have unable to find one. Also have unable to take clear of this matter via e-mail due to the confusing website.

                                    On April 2nd I received an email that I needed to update my Norton Virus coverage. I clicked on to do this and have been charged $39.99 on my credit card. Today I received another notice that I needed to update this coverage. DO I HAVE COVERAGE. I asked my son and he said I should have a liciense number, which I do not have as far as I know. How can I find out if I am getting what I am supposed to pay for?
                                    I received a notice that I needed to update my virus protection. I chose the middle of the road protection and it was charged to my credit card. I downloaded the virus protection directly from my computer and started using it right away. I have had no problem with it so far.
                                    On March 27 -2009 I down loaded Virus protection at the cost of $131.98. I am still getting pop up say I need to get virus portection . Need this go through ? Suzanne

                                    I just had a charge on my visa from DRI*Trend Micro, which I did not give them authorization to do. Last year I purchased Trend Micro Anti Virus protection over the internet and when my computer got a virus and I lost everything on my computer and had to have all programs reinstalled I was told if i didnt have the CD I had to repurchase the protection, so I do not want this charge on my visa unless they are willing to send me the CD. What gives them the right to automatically charge my visa without my approval.

The second PC asked for an Activation code wich was never provided. which qas supposed to be near the end of the Quick Start page. No such thing. So I am about to uninstall this rummy utilty and demand that my money be returned. Nuke the jerks for selling crappy stuff.

                                        Hi friends,

                                        I work for Symantec corporation, if you are aware it is world's no.1 AntiVirus company. I work tere as a senior escalation engineer. Well we do know all about this sort of mails. I am dam sure that it is fraud mail. So, I request you guys not to send any DD.MO to that address and going further keep it in mind if you receive any email from unknown sender where asks for your banking information like ACC number, Card number or demanding for money. You can be sure that that is fraud.

                                        Don't waste time in this and start searching job elsewhere.
