Talent Hub Jobs — Not discharging proper service against registered fee and commitment given

`I have registered with a placement agency viz. Talent Hub Jobs (Address: PNB House, 18-B, Brabourne Road, 3rd Floor, Kolkata-700001) in September, 2015 with a purpose that it will provide me a decent job in some respectable organization since at that point of time I have no job as I have left my last one in some unavoidable circumstances . I have an excellent career record and possess good educational qualification. Before registering they have send me to 2 local companies for interview which are decent one. This is a lucrative technique so that I will register and after registration they will send me to better ones. But to my dismay, I was send for an interview to a Jewellery Workshop in Singur which is 40 Km from Kolkata. I had no other option since I was unemployed and till I get a good one it was better to work someone rather than sitting idle in home. The placement agency takes advantage of these situations. I feel ashamed that the person who was taking interview is much less educated to me and he feels an inferior complexity in taking that interview which was quite evident by his way of asking questions. In the meantime I referred an old colleague of mine for this placement agency and only he registered because of me. By the grace of god, when they called for 2nd round of interview I have already got into a reputed MNC but on contract basis. Meanwhile, my friend got selected in this Jewellery Workshop but he left after 15 days because they failed to provide them even the Appointment Letter for the post. Later on my friend told me ‘ Kis Janam ka Badla Liya Hai Tumna’ and I also lost the trust that he had with me.

Not only that when my contract end with the MNC after 9 mts, I again approached Talent Hub thinking that it has become much better than before. But again to my dismay I found out that still my name is not upgraded to their registered databases and only after repetitive call ensured that after 9 mts my name is registered. Also I told that since I have worked in a reputed MNCs they can use this as advantage to forward my CVs to reputed organization. Also, since I didn’t get advantage of registered member for 9 months, so either to refund 2/3rd of my registration fee or extend my registered membership to further 9 months which I think is quite fair because it is lapse on their part. Not only the lady in their Tollygunje office (opp. Frank Pharmacy Shop, Near Malancha Movie Hall) badmouthed me but also said adverse about the MNC that I have worked. The same response I got from their manager, Mr. Durjoy over phone. It gave me mentally setback as well. Also during the rest 3 months they have called for openings either in Jewellery Shop or Saree Shops. Please job seeker of Kolkata be aware of Talent Hub and don’t get trapped into their false promises.
