We paid for the annual membership of the gym. However, within a month of operation talwalkar shut down the maninagar (Ahmedabad) gym and that also without any visibility of when they can re-start.

I had chosen the maninagar branch keeping the proximity and approachability in mind. It is not possible for me to go to any other location as suggested by you talwalkar.

I have written series of e mails but without any response from talwalkar.

I have waited for more than 4 months for re starting of the maninagar gym operation or any response to my e mail.

However, now i don’t think the maninagar operation is going to start anytime, soon. Thus i request them to refund my proportionate annual fees from the date of in-operation of your maninagar gym.

But talwalkars are not responding. Request you to help me get my refund and oblige

I have paid 12500 for 12 months of gym membership with dietician. After 6 months, the Gym closed for maintainence. At first they said it would be 15 days. Then they extended it for 1 month, then 2 months and its closed still. The Gym is closed from 1st Dec to till date. There is no response from management. No refund. No hope that gym would start again. The location is of Maninagar. Please help me get my money back. I have bill as a proof.

I had joined gym in pune lullanagar branch, i was harassed there by the manager working. He kept body shaming me. I was also cheated with the package cost. Mr. Madhukar talwalkar got in touch with me and appointed ms. Chaitrali to handle my case. She assured me compensation and promised me to return the money that i had already pain within 15 working days. After 15 days when i called her she blocked my numbers. After that i help receiving calls from ms. Sofia working in the same branch and she abused me on call for no reason. I have been writing email, but there is no revert from anyone of them.
Is this the way gym staff treat their customers???
Also i havent got my money back till date.

Im from kakinada, their is an room in the gym which before used to be used for abbs n excises its was so nice that way. But last year the kept it oly for yoga and zoomba bt now both are not their. N it is been locked and not leting us to use it freely to do our workouts..
Please can you tel them to keep the door open for people like me to do our workouts freely..
Its not so comfortable and convent to do abbs workouts it in the open terrace front of many people.
Kindly acept my request and let us use that room.

Hi this is binita chakravarty i had extended my membership at talwalkar guwahati gym for a year but the gym closed without any information or notification which is wrong it's everyone's hard earned money and the company just runs away with it without anything prior notice even after continued mails and calls about the same there is no response from the company's end regarding the matter. I'm legally entitled to refund kindly look into the matter and return the legally entitled refund asap.

I have been a member of talwalkars since 8 years now but i was shocked to see the gym close overnight having paid for an annual membership @ 13.5k only 2 months back.
No notification was sent to the members.
The staff is not picking up the calls.
The regular guards have been changed.
This has caused a lot of mental and physical inconvenience to me and i would like that a refund be initiated as soon as possible

I had taken a 1 year membership at the mira road branch of the talwalkar's gym which i had taken in the month of aug'19. However the gym was closed by dec'19, the reason given was that some maintenance work was happening and gym will be opened by the 2nd week of jan2020. I later found out that some dues were not paid by talwalkars gym to the builder and the police had shut it down after receiving a complaint. I was assured by the manager of the gym that the gym will be opened by 15th of feb 2020. However looks like the gym has been permanently shut down.

My payment details are given below. The membership was taken during a promotional price provided by the gym for existing members. I would like to get my money back if there are no plans to open the gym. The primary reason to go with a branded name in the industry was to avoid all such hassles however talwalkars is managed very poorly and has absolutely not reached out to the customers to build confidence. The leadership of this organisation should be sacked and a case of cheating should be filed. This has impacted a lot of gym goers. The worst part was despite all this happening in the background, i was being asked to go for a personal trainer for which i would have to shell another 30k+ for a 6 month period. Very unprofessional and i would be vary of anybody trying to join any of their gym branches and would not recommend talwalkars to anybody. Don't burn your hard earned money on such unprofessional people. I would like to receive a refund asap.

I had taken a 12 months membership on 30th aug 2019. However their kochi mg road gym is closed since dec 19 end. And the same is still not open. I want the rest of the months fees to be refunded back to me.

The gym is closed till date and their is not communication on when it is going to resume its services. I had lodged a complaint in their company website however they have not replied to it. I want my balance amount to be refunded.

I am navleen from dehradun. I took a 6 + 2 months membership of talwalkars dehradun. I paid the entire amount in january 2020.
Yesterday when i went to the gym i found out that the gym is closed as talwalkar is not able to pay the rent to the property owner.
This sudden shut down of the gym was not expected from a brand like yours. There was no intimation about this closure. How can you just take the whole amount of membership fees and just shut down the gym without any intimation?
Kindly let me know if you are planning to open the gym soon or are otherwise how can i get the refund of my fees from your dehradun branch.

I am rahul manna, took a subscription at talwalkars ballygunge gym for a year which costs me around 24000. I took it on january 2020. It's been a month and a half and today the gym got shut without any intimidation to it's members. I feel cheated. My money is gone and i have nothing to do now. There's nobody i can complain it to. Please check. I need my money back.

It's been more than a month since the gym is closed, they said it will start with in 15days as it's under renovation, but the fact is they paid the rent for last 4 month to the landlord, I called the khar branch and they said to contact Nikhil deodar[protected] for refund, I called him many times dropped an email ([protected]@talwalkars.net) but he's least bothered to respond. Plz help me to get the refund.

I had 9 months left in my gym membership before talwalkars ghaziabad shutdown for business. There's no way for me to communicate with anyone to negotiate a refund. They intentionally took members in knowing that they will run out of business soon.
This a fraud case where the gym operators intentionally took in new members fully knowing that they will be unable to provide the services to workout for the whole year. The staff on the front desk needs to be called in for questioning. I would like to recover my hard earned money back.

Vallabh had given me gold package with gold package pt which i had not asked for. According to me i had titaniumpt... I have firstly cheated here
2) vallabh mentioned that 7500 charges were for dietician, where else the other manager mentioned that it was complimentary. He also told me that payment can be made in 2 slots.. So there was no delay in the payment
3) dietician wasn't aware of the package... 2 weeks were wasted by the dietician to know that i have joined gym and start with the plan.
4) dietician was never available during my working hours... If the package was given to me then why was it not told to me that there is no dietician during my workout time???
This was also hidden to me..
Ms. Madudhura who was appointment as my dietician was available only during the morning hours where as i use to come in the evening from the first day itself..
5) ms madhura had asked me to contact her on whatsapp as she is not available in person... If this is the case then i could have downloaded any application on the phone and have an dietician free of cost.
6) payment was not delayed from my side. Gautam the trainer incharge had told me that they will not deposit the cheque till the time i am not satisfied with the services.
7) sofiya the receptionist forced me back to join the gym when i had already left.
She also mentioned that 7500 will be adjusted against another person's membership that never happened... She said off the records i can get 1 person at the gym for 6 months but not to tell anyone about this.
8) she happily adjusted my package again when i had asked her to reduce the membership for 6+2 month along with pt and she returned the cheque of 18k back to me. I had not come to gym for 2 weeks sofiya said she will adjust that and give me additional session (All this conversation had happened in front of ganesh)
9) i spoke to sofiya to discontinue the gym she said that i will get the refund... She will call in some time. But till now i didn't receive any call from here.

I hearby ask you to refund the money back as i am dissatisfied with the services.

All the miscommunication and misleading in which i have not got any response from the manager
He misbehaved with me on the call today.

Also 2 he had misbehaved, raised his voice and argues in a bad manner with me.
I will raise a separate complaint against him..
When asked for the higher managements details he denied to give.
Such people should not be working there.

Hence request you to take an action against him
Also i am not comfortable with him around in the gym.

I am a member of talwalkars gym mira road branch. The gym is closed past 17 days and no information is provided by the branch.
No contact are available.
When is the gym opening can an accurate answer be provided.
I am even being emailing to the branch but no response has been provided to the member.
Who is liable for this?

I loretta menezes, am writing a formal complain with regards to the closure of the talwalkars gym in mira road. The gym was closed without any prior notice and i have still not received any communication from any of the management staff. This is highly disrespectful and not appreciated. The gym was closed in the month of december due to non payment of rent. Whatever may be the reason, not informing me has already lost a member like me. This time of the month is when we need the gym more. During and after the festivities. This was not expected from a well known brand in the market. I would like to get a full refund of the amount i paid here as this is wastage of my time and money. Waiting for the reply on the complain and accordingly will take further action. Thank you.

Talwalkars Mira Road Branch has Rent payment pending due to which the builder logged a complaint and police has shut down the gym on 26th December 2019 . It was told that the gym will be functional from 2nd January 2020 but there is no response from the Gym regarding the same. Nor any information regrading Refund or a permanent closure is updated to the members.
Need help with Refund as i have more than 9 months of Membership left

Sir I have taken 2yrs membership in malakpet branch around dec 2018 .since then I have gone for six months and there was a short circuit in June since then it has been closed.Its almost 6 months since the gym is closed they have taken full Amt of 2 yrs and there is even no one for response about when the gym is reopening or not.since 6 months nothing is being done nor they are refunding our money or lifting the phone.kindly take some strict action aganist the concerned person.we visited the gym many times but it is locked no one is there to answer.

I'm madhura kawle member of talwalkar gym dombivli east branch. The gym is suddenly closed before six months not given any kind of intimation. They told us to repay back the refund fees. But from six months not paid the refund fees nor giving feedback by email and not connecting their contact. They discontinued their cell phones. Where to contact? They cheated us.
