I mojtaba arabiyan am a member of talwalkars gym since january 2017, my cousin mahtab knoori, both my aunts fakhri golzar and marzi farashahi and friend imran zinna are members of talwalkars gym.

I have been using the gym services as well as availing the personal training sessions from your personal trainers ever since i have joined the gym in jan 2017 until now!

This floor trainer has been recently hired a few months ago at talwalkars koregaon park branch, in fact i have been a member of the gym longer than he has been a trainer at your gym!

I had already mentioned at the reception to sufiyabanu shakih and to sandeep sir (Floor manager) about the excessive loud noise from the music being played in the gym which is severely disturbing especially given that i am a migraine patient. Despite listening to my own music on my headphones, i am still able to hear the music being played on the speakers in a blazing (Extremely loud) manner. Due to this sandeep sir assured me that he will adjust the volume of the music being played inside the gym at a moderate level, to which i agreed.

I would like to report and incident which took place today between 9:30 pm to 10:15 pm, despite sandeep sir adjusting the volume today, a floor trainer in red t-shirt named vivek kundra had the audacity to go and triple the volume of the speakers, sandeep sir was himself working out and he didn't do anything about the volume being increased to an unbearable level, i had to go and reduce the volume to a moderate level, to which the trainer agai went and tripled the volume in order to disturb me, this happened quite a few times, after the 3rd time, as i was walking to do my stretches the trainer walked up to me and started abusing me and speaking in a very derogatory manner and started threatening me, to ehich i asked him to speak to the manager and ignored him and continue to walk to exit.

(He had similarly threatened me a week ago to which i asked him to clear his issues with the manager as he is not the one in charge of he volume of the music system, it is the floor manager sandeep who decides that!
He wasn't ready to clear his issue in front of the manager as well, maybe it was my mistake to let this issue go so lightly as it has escalated into a case of verbal abuse and physical assault including death threats from your trainer!
I should have immediately quit coming to your gym and should have refunded my money of the gym membership paid including personal training fee's paid! Such disrespectful behavior should not be tolerated by anyone!)

When i was walking away, he was blocking me from going and starting threatening me even more, he then pushed me aggressively and started physically getting violent, minutes later after sandeep sir realized he rushed into the situation trying to get in between of the trainer assaulting me, despite the other trainers pulling him aside and asking him to behave professionally, vivek continued to abuse and threaten me and asked me to meet him outside where he would call his hooligan buddies to beat me up! (He used words like i will get u raped and killed, i will get ur entire family raped and murdered and a lot of disgusting things etc)

While sandeep sir was blocking me from him vivke forced his way and came in between and swung a huge slap across my face and wanted to fist me as well!

This is extremely cheap, disgusting and totally immoral, unprofessional behavior against the code of conduct!!

I shall bring the police to talwalkar's gym to file an fir against him tomorrow!

I am very good friends with mr ramesh bagwe and given that fact i shall use every resources in my means to teach ur trainer a lesson he will never forget!

He shall never be able to raise his hands or even verbally abuse anyone after this!

I shall make sure he doesn't receive employment at any place in maharashtra!

I demand that such behavior should not be tolerated by your gym managers, authorities or members as well!

Please make sure u fire him effective immediately and make sure he is not employed at any of the branches of talwalkar's gym in india!

I[censored] do not take strict action against him, please be aware of the fact that i shall take your gym to consumer court and make sure you will learn how to fulfill your responsibilities to your customer!

I have several friends who are journalists and bloggers working in indian express, asian age, times of india, pune times, pune mirror.

I shall expose this matter on my website, blog as well as several online publications (Just dail, fritternity, growfitter, fabogo, big indian wedding, etc.) including other blogs along with proof.

Is this why you hire so many trainers in the gym soa as to bully, harass, threaten your customers in order to extract money from them and suppress them?

How dare your trainer have the audactiy to disturb me? Abuse me? Threaten me? Physically assault me?

Despite all of this sandeep sir let the trainer go and do whatever he wants and treated the whole situation lightly!

Do not believe a word said in favour of vivek kundra by sandeep sir as he is partial to him and it is such favorable behavior that promotes vivek to say, do, behave however he likes in such an abusive, aggressive manner!

Please check the cctv footage of they gym floor of talwakars koregaon park gym dated 11th july, 2017 between 9:30 to 10:15 pm. You shall be the better judge of the situation!

You shall see by yourself how i was provoked threatened, pushed, shoved and slapped by the trainer!

I have been a member of talwalkar salt lake gym since past 4 years now. Even though my membership ws due i discontinued in march 2017 due to the unproffesionalism in the gym. Some members and trainers together keep gossiping about members especially ladies about their personal lives their clothes their character in a very cheap way. Some members only come to gossip and # about others. It's a very suffocating and cheap atmosphere in the gym and fuelled n encourages by the trainers themselves. I had to lose on a substantial amount of membership fee too due to this problem. There is absolutely no code of conduct in the gym

Re: Complaint about the poor service of the fitness centre

I am writing to complain about the poor service of your fitness centre in particular the Unprofessional Training and the unacceptable response of the personal trainer*.

I would like to start by saying how disappointed I was with the personal training. The personal trainer was neither fit nor strong enough. He was not at all focused and more concerned about the ppl/surrounding while conducting the session. I think that he could not show us a good enough model for being fit.(1.)He also lacked confidence and skills to teach as during one session a fellow client was performing absolutely wrong and he refused to help on the pretext, "woh meri client nahi hai toh me q Sikhao" and (2)the second incident was more worst when he confronted a rather untrained client after many Reps who was performing wrong saying, "aap bahut enjoy karray thay isliye mene roka nahi but your form/technique was full wrong" . Not only Did he lack focus but also forgot the Rep counts during sessions and due to bad form/posture during sessions I have a bad BACK PAIN and SHOULDER ISSUES since past 1 week.

My next complaint concerns the "poor response" of the pain suffered the next day in my shoulder, back and legs.The pain was very nasty and I could barely walk. Upon enquiring the reasoning behind this acute pain the trainer **Made fun and laughed** it off along with fellow trainers and clients standing near by. It was unacceptable definitely.. I think it is unreasonable of you to expect customers to tolerate such kind of discouraging behaviour. Moreover, the comment made that "this is jus normal" & "Hota hai" without any explanation at all was unprofessional again. It was even brought to the notice of the assistance manager as 1st Verbal Warning for misbehaviour and rude response to a rather serious question regarding fitness.I think that it is terrible to find such a personal trainer in a fitness centre like yours.

The last complaint but also the one that concerns me most is the rude response of your personal trainer regarding my complain of cancelling my p.t without any notice(paid session)*** on the pretext of me being late for 15mintues. When I gave my comments on the same, I was told that the workout was done yesterday itself and that I did it so I should have that much sense to ASSUME it is done with and hence nothing else was left to do except for Cardio. He claimed that, "it is common sense that legs workout of hamstring, calves and one more muscle name mentioned which I cannot recollect, are all done and I as a common man should have know it all on my own by now". His response was simply ridiculous! Moreover, when I complained about not communicating it clearly, he told me that I should have that much SENSE and he has another client to attend at 2 so I should do my cardio on my own. I was totally outraged. His reply was literally unacceptable. For my complaint about the Unprofessional approach given by the personal trainer, the trainer argued that I was told to workout for 2 days but because he concluded the workout in 1 session I should have known that ON MY OWN*(like how?), because of this, today, would be cardio and my session would be cancelled without prior information despite me connecting with the trainer prior coming to gym as I had an important meeting, no such communication took place. It is appalling that the assistant manager even asked me to change another fitness trainer if I was unhappy and have faith in her decision of the new trainer which were the exact same words the 1st time as well .His manner and response are very rude and irresponsible.

I expect to receive a full explanation regarding this matter. I hope that you would take this complaint seriously. I request a written apology from the personal trainer and a refund of my personal training fee as I have lost all my confidence in joining any courses of your centre again. I expect to hear back from you with a full resolution to this issue by 2nd May, 2017 at the very latest.

Iam a member of kakinada branch by name v g raj kumar since your branch started in kakinada i have paid personal tranie amount of 40000/- in vizag branch and started traning for november and december and than given hold it and requested them to change the amount for membership but there is no proper information from that branch please do the need full

Myself yash i visited at talwalkars rajkot branch, i just went there for enuiry by 9.38 pm the person was juz like aap monday ko aaiye abhi nahi bata paunga hume kaam rehta hai computer work ka n all i think it was rude ans we also don have atimr we remove our tym n came we were 5 members to take the admission for the geam i juz askd hume batado so tht hum monday aah sake and join hohsake he was like abbi nahi batasakte this was the rude ans not at all expected from talwalkars juz tuink ek choti baat ki vajese u rejected the 5 members and i wan the result soon plz reply soon i wan the solution and the person who behaved suchd must relaize it and be sorry

I was member at Charkop, Kandivali(West), Mumbai 400067 Branch under the deposit Scheme for Rs 20000.
I was member since 22nd March 2013 and applied for refund on 25th March 2014.(The proof of both is attached herewith)

The branch, i am talking about is the one, [well was] at santacruz (West), in front of the police station.

The service promised : 3 years of gym membership for 12, 000 rupees.

The problem: the gym was below average and unprofessional, though it was good for the starting few months... Then the endless loop of "this not working that not working" started.
Starting from "we dont have water for today"... Which took weeks to get solved, then it occurred very frequently, so everybody got used to it.
Then finally it was time for electricity... They literally did not had electricity!!! Still we kept quite.

They would keep close without a prior notice and continue so for months!!! After asking frequently for refund money they would turn to ghosts everytime. The only one thing they knew was not to have a clear communication with its customer.

Now having everyone's money, they have kept close for a year now and i just want my money refunded.

The name of the few guys there: nilesh (The one responsible for new customers) ali (The reluctant trainer).

Hi I'm member in ur gym last three years but ur old staff is good against ur new staff they don't have any knowledge they are local gundas. Ever u conduct paper before to join them we r overall 12 family members com to ur gym & found today ur gym not safe for female and ur manager unable to take action because they are local N uneducated if we complain ur manager told our name them and they come to us why u complain. That why I don't want to mentioning my details. But kindly go through ur gernal trainer Vishal, Abhishek knowledge (no knowledge), personality, way of talking (specially). All best gernal trainer u promoted like. Sanjay. Ur personal trainers r good but gernal trainer yuk take others clients review.
We are not renewing our packages in March month i[censored] don't take strictly action. And one thing I let u know early there is no option of healthy atmosphere gym but now there is there trainer also qualified. Ask ur manager to change them they are useless keep only standing ask who was incharge there to take action

Dear Madam / Sir,

I am a 52 year old member of Bani Park branch past 4 years and I am almost on my way to renew the annual subscription in coming March.

Unfortunately, past 2-3 months there has been some serious health issues / threats at your branch which are not taken care despite several requests made to your senior staff. Here I am talking about the weight lifting section on the floor, where the nearest window or door is at least 50 feet away and the place is crowded in the morning time by all the members. The nearby panel window does not open and is with fixed glasses.

Obviously, the amount of oxygen is much below required level if both the air conditioners are not working properly as shown in the attached images from different angles. I had been explaining this to Mr. Lokendra & Mr. Prem Singh Gahlot and requesting them to keep these on in that crowded morning hour of gym at least (08.00-09.00 hours)! But every morning, it has been a great struggle for me and some of my friends and I really don’t find them of much help. They say that some members ask them to keep off the devices for a better ‘sweating and workout’ as well as they fear cold.

Needless to say, the atmosphere at that part of secluded corner of gym is having foul smells, suffocating air with less oxygen and very hot and uneasy temperature despite winters!

A great role can be played by your electrician here, Banvari, who can set up these devices ‘on’ and lock these on a moderate temperature like 24 – so that house keepings or members do not temper with the systems!?

It is a pity that such a reputed brand like yours is lacking some very basic health & hygiene standards – just because of some ignorance at the part of your administrative staff at that time there ‘only in recent days’!

Any medical or other authority / council will never approve it, looking at the seriousness of the issue.

Therefore, I request you to kindly interfere in this grave issue on urgent basis and solve it on permanent basis.

I had applied an amount of rs. 10, 000 & additional RS.5, 000 in Talwalkars FD scheme in October 2013 in Borivali (West) branch. the tenure of the said fd scheme was 2 years. I had approached them for refund many times since Jan 2016, however till now no money has refunded, nor any staff of Talwalkars is entertaining in this matter. And now there's a new gym opening at that place

I am holding the original fixed deposit receipt. HELP ME OUT IN MY REFUND AS IT IS MY HARD EARNED MONEY.

This is to bring it your notice that i, bisu das, a member of your gym since last 3 years, have faced certain inconvenience and inappropriate behaviour by the management of your firm operating in the ballygunj branch, kolkata. The incident took place on 15 th of november, 2016. I had gone to further enroll and renew my membership expiring on the same date. On discussion, i was alleged that i am providing certain members with personal training and the present trainers are unhappy with the conduct. I would like to bring to your notice tgat we are four friends who share our information on new exercises and try them at gym. This information is not available by me personally but the other members through instagram and other sources are sharing and are trying together.
Am extremely dissapointed at the said behaviour of the management. I would request you to please provide me a solution so that i can further renew my membership. I would also request you to kindly refer the case with the following members on basis of who the complaint has been made, for better clarification on the matter. I am a personal trainer by my profession and i feel it was a very unprofessional and biased attitude of the management towards me.
Hoping for a justified solution to my current situation.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had joined Talwalkars(Adajan Branch) on 20.05.2015 and paid annual fee of Rs.7000/- vide receipt no-C498. The staff of the gym name was Mr.Krunal who had collected money and given a receipt.After 15 days I found that the GYM was closed without any notice to their customers.I had checked more than 10 times but that was closed only.I was waiting that whenever GYM will be opened I will request for the refund because I had seen that the machines were there in the GYM as the front side was visible from the road.Since Mid of the September they have shifted there equipments smartly and I have lose the hope of the refund too.
Hence lodging a complain to get the justice and refund from the company.

The Talwalkars Co. had cheated me by getting the annual fee and giving the facility for merely 15 days.They should have informed me that they are winding up or they are not registering new member rather than giving the discount scheme and cheating by registering me for a year and collecting fee.They should have informed me or given a refund.

Worst service, no management, annoing manager & irritating trainers... I hate talwalkars forever..
I have joined talwalkars khandari branch in agra. I joined for 6 months and had taken personal trainer. I paid full amount at the time of joining but i didn't got the receipt. After asking numerous times they gave me bill for rs.1000 only than i shouted on them they gave me another bill of rs.9, 500. But the bill does not include personal trainer facility instead they converted my money to take a whole year membership & now they asking me to pay 6500 again for personal trainer. Previously, my trainer never came on time, at the time of joining only i told them that i will come to gym at sharp 6 in morning. The manager manoj yadav told me gym opens at 5:30 am & trainers come by max 5:35 daily. But this never happened. I many times requested my trainer to come on time but he never come before 6:45.
They have very few machines and they are offering membership to large number of mass. There is always a fight to get cardio machine or even other machines also. It seems like i have came to attend "kumbh ka mela". The manger and other staff are manner-less. They don't know how to talk to the clients. They just ask every client to bring new members. There is no proper arrangement for steam-bath, hygiene, lockers, and even i can say everything is worst. I want my money to be refunded. I advice everyone to avoid talwalkars fitness club. You may join local gyms but say no to talwalkars.

I have faced the problem in the washroom in which hot water is not available for bath. This is third time I face such problem. There is not any complain book in the gym in which I write the my complain. I don't want such poor quality service So I want to cancel my Gym Membership with immediate effect.
But gym people are not listening me and saying we cannot cancel your membership and not refunding my money

I had availed of a lifetime membership in June 2013 (CA 079) for 14 years by paying Rs. 25000 at the Borivali West, Vazira Naka Branch. However the GYM was closed in 2014 and moved to IC Colony without any notice to the members. The IC colony Gym is also closed now. I need a refund of the membership fees paid by me. Hi i am member of talwalkar gym since 2011 i had chosen fd scheme 30000 i had shifted long back so hvnt been using the gym i told them to refund my money back they said vll do it on its maturity to my surprise gym has shut down and no response on call this is not done ..has any member got it back??? how do i take it forward...dont dp such kind of frauds...i need that money

I had joined the Gym by paying Rs 15, 000 as fixed deposit which was refundable after a year. I hardly went for gym, may be for a month. Gym got closed which was at Borivali, Ashok Nagar and was not convenient to go to either Dahisar or Charkop. I had applied to refund the money at Charkop branch. They told that in 6 months money will be refunded. But now a year has been passed there is no response from Talwalkar. Now a days no one is picking up the phone too.
