Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] — [protected] Wrong bill due to negligence of TNEB | |||
Service No[protected] Due to the ongoing pandemic situation I have paid the last bill of Rs. 2919 via inline payment from HDFC Bank. The fund returned in 2 days and hence I have paid again on 12th April and it went through. on 16th April days, an EB person has disconnected the power connection. I went in person to the t.nagar EB office and found that the online payment made on 12th April is not received to them yet. And they requested to pay the EB Charges uptill 16th April 2021 so as to provide reconnection. Hence I have paid Rs. 4353 for a period as requested by the EB official. And on 23rd of May 2021, I have got the new fat bill on... the payment made in person in the eb office of Rs. 4353 by in-person is not recorded and hence a sum of Rs 5877 is now mentioned as due. I have rechecked by logging in to portal and verified the last payment made was not recorded. So considering that I have paid Rs 4353, deducting the same in the present bill, I suppose to pay only Rs. 1524. It will be highly appreciated if the above is resolved.
