Dear sir,

My service connection number is [protected] and we have received the bill amount is Rs2308 where as our consumed units was 504 only, the screen shot of the reading is enclosed for ready reference. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest.
Kindly change the consumed units accordingly.
Last assessed units is :2590
This month if assesses units will be : 3090

    Sir, I am M.R. Krishnan and my residence is at No. 2 (Old 23) Ramakrishna Nagar Second Main Road, R A Puram, Chennai 600028 under R A Puram Ele. Board. Right now I am struck up in USA and will be able to return only after Coivid lock down.

    2. I have two electricity connections at my premises Meter No. [protected] (Commercial) and [protected] (Residential) and my monthly bills for [protected] comes to about 5000 on the average for the past one year and for [protected] minimum

    3. But this month on online payment they have arbitrarily raised an imaginary figure of Rs. 46251.00 for [protected] and 2704 for [protected] and there is no way I can pay this much. As instructed I am willing to pay online on self reading and I would request to kindly sort out the issue and post the last time reading as my bill and I will pay that online and the exact bill can be settled while taking out the nexxt reaading.

      I’m from Anna Nagar area in Panagudi in Tirunelveli district. (627109)
      There is power cut for no reason during day time or night time. It’s very uneasy to work at home or sleep during night. So kindly checks if this happens only in our area or happening everywhere. If so kindly take necessary measures to clear this issue. If no action taken this complaint will be forwarded to the CM of Tamilnadu. Thank you

            On 29/1/21 - no bill amount
            On 28/3/21 - no bill amount
            On 04/6/21 - 2100 bill amount ( nearly 550 units )
            For a instance, the electricity unit consumed for the past 6 months is less than 150 units . How it been billed for 550 units? Kindly verify and solve this issue as soon as possible which will be helpfull in such lockdown situation

              Due to the ongoing pandemic situation I have paid the last bill of Rs. 2919 via inline payment from HDFC Bank. The fund returned in 2 days and hence I have paid again on 12th April and it went through. on 16th April days, an EB person has disconnected the power connection. I went in person to the t.nagar EB office and found that the online payment made on 12th April is not received to them yet. And they requested to pay the EB Charges uptill 16th April 2021 so as to provide reconnection. Hence I have paid Rs. 4353 for a period as requested by the EB official. And on 23rd of May 2021, I have got the new fat bill on... the payment made in person in the eb office of Rs. 4353 by in-person is not recorded and hence a sum of Rs 5877 is now mentioned as due. I have rechecked by logging in to portal and verified the last payment made was not recorded. So considering that I have paid Rs 4353, deducting the same in the present bill, I suppose to pay only Rs. 1524. It will be highly appreciated if the above is resolved.

                Dear sir/madam, For the past 20yrs I have been residing in the same address. We are paying within 1000 every time, but this month we got e-bill around 3562... This makes us too stress though I have called the respective board, but I couldn't get satisfactory response as we are residing more than 50kms away from the e-office it's kinda risky to travel in this pandemic situation.. kindly rectify this problem and do needful

                  I am writing this compliant because the way the TNEB Madipakkam have responded to our Emergency call yesterday. We had issue in power we have three phase current in our home but we got only one phase and two phases were cut yesterday night. When we called them they responded by saying that if the whole street is in trouble they will come immediately and if our house alone is in trouble they will come by morning only. What kind of responsibility is this. Aren't the people in one house is not a human and you don't have responsibility to serve them. Then why you people are getting paid. This is completely unacceptable. Worst service I have expected

                      These Meter have lesser reading for the month Apr-May2021 but bill shows more Than this shown in website but per recent rules updated, user can send photo copy of Meter so I whatsapp the photos and email to AE with meter photos on changing the billed amount but not yet changed for me to pay the amount online kindly assist

                        Hi, I have got rs 3628(for 780 units) on 03/06/2021. Actually we are not at home and nobody in home. We got rs 95(150 units) on 03/04/2021 this is reasonable because we are not at home. Not sure why this much amount they put for my eb bill even nobody in the home and nothing used for electricity.
                        Please provide us with reason for this amoutn for unsed units and please recalculate the bill. It should not be above 100rs.

                          Normally our power consumtion bill will be 500 to 800 only.but last bill so high even redaing details also mentioned in the bill.

                                It seems TNEB has indulged in unfair practices to garner more revenues from the day the new Govt.took over the reins of Tamilnadu.Usually, there should be a gap of exactly 2 months between previous and succeeding meter reading and calculation of the bill amount, by the assessor.But, the Tangedco has deliberately violated this practice in the name of lockdown and has uploaded abnormal charges for May, 21 without the actual meter reading done, it seems.The amount of the charges is tactfully and conveniently calculated on a convenient date beyond the usual gap of 60 days.Because of this, the slab changes and the tariff changes and as a result, the bill amount surges beyond our imagination.This is a wilful act by TNEB, it seems. Moreover, meter reading was done within the stipulated time and the previous regime did not indulge in any unfair modes to garner more revenues.Also, there was no current failure absolutely.TNEB was ably managed by the AIADMK Govt.The new minister concerned should look into the matter and correct the over-billing with justifiable amount.Corruption will raise its ugly head in TNEB, after 10 years, I fear.Tangedco needs a very efficient minister to manage its affairs without giving any room to corruption.Tangedco has given 2 options for application of charges for May, 21 namely
                                1) either the amount of the bill of Mar, 20 OR
                                2) the bill amount for Mar, 21. which ever is less.
                                Yet, they have ignored these 2 options, conveniently, it seems.

                                  Hi sir, we are only two members living in the house, and we came to this house only on Jan 27th 2021, but from Jan to till date we receiving high current bill reading. Last month we received ₹11812 bill amount. We raised the complaint twice through online and one time given Letter to the near EB office. But still no response from them. Within a month meter showing above 1000 units. Please do needful.

                                        I am raising a complaint about the electricity reading this month for a vacant portion of our house.
