Sir,
On 31 st may 2021 i have recived my power consumtion bill through e mail for the following consumer details.

[protected]. - Rs .2638/-

Normally our power consumtion bill will be 500 to 800 only.but last bill so high even redaing details also mentioned in the bill.

Please resolve the issue at earliest.

    The reading shown for June 2021 bill payment in the website is wrong.

    The previous month reading taken on 02/04/2021 is 17580

    This month reading taken on 03/05/2021 is 18680

    The units consumed is 1100.

    I request you respectfully to change the above mentioned details as soon as possible.

        It seems TNEB has indulged in unfair practices to garner more revenues from the day the new Govt.took over the reins of Tamilnadu.Usually, there should be a gap of exactly 2 months between previous and succeeding meter reading and calculation of the bill amount, by the assessor.But, the Tangedco has deliberately violated this practice in the name of lockdown and has uploaded abnormal charges for May, 21 without the actual meter reading done, it seems.The amount of the charges is tactfully and conveniently calculated on a convenient date beyond the usual gap of 60 days.Because of this, the slab changes and the tariff changes and as a result, the bill amount surges beyond our imagination.This is a wilful act by TNEB, it seems. Moreover, meter reading was done within the stipulated time and the previous regime did not indulge in any unfair modes to garner more revenues.Also, there was no current failure absolutely.TNEB was ably managed by the AIADMK Govt.The new minister concerned should look into the matter and correct the over-billing with justifiable amount.Corruption will raise its ugly head in TNEB, after 10 years, I fear.Tangedco needs a very efficient minister to manage its affairs without giving any room to corruption.Tangedco has given 2 options for application of charges for May, 21 namely
        1) either the amount of the bill of Mar, 20 OR
        2) the bill amount for Mar, 21. which ever is less.
        Yet, they have ignored these 2 options, conveniently, it seems.

          Hi sir, we are only two members living in the house, and we came to this house only on Jan 27th 2021, but from Jan to till date we receiving high current bill reading. Last month we received ₹11812 bill amount. We raised the complaint twice through online and one time given Letter to the near EB office. But still no response from them. Within a month meter showing above 1000 units. Please do needful.

                I am raising a complaint about the electricity reading this month for a vacant portion of our house. We have 3 cards for our house and one card ([protected]) for which the house is vacant from February 15th due to some renovation works where we had shut down electricity for the electric works and if at all only minimal usages were there shows a reading o[censored]sed units 735 (Rs. 3331/-) according to tangedco mail sent to my mail id...

                Respected Sir / Madam,

                I request you to install a new Street light in the cross road, which is is very next to my house. The request is raised because it is a road which connects the next street and during night times couples and other people do all the nuisance(like Drinking, throwing waste etc.) . Please install a new street light to avoid nuisance of couples. there are small kids and it a family locality, it is not advisable to allow such people to do rubbish things.

                In the below first picture i have marked the place where people do rubbish things, also last week we have cleaned and burnt all the waste. These photos are taken from my terrace, if you come and visit you will have better idea and you can see what i have mentioned visually

                We will be really grateful if you can install a street light in the cross road, there is already one but that does not cover the whole road.

                                I would like to complain regarding Wrong EB amt mentioned. Yesterday I received an message from EB for paying Electricity bill Amt mentioned Rs. 590. Actually comparison of previous reading to present reading electricity consumed only 230 units. For 230 units Rs.590 is very high. Please check and revert back with correct amt to pay.

                                  I had paid all old dues of [protected] connection in the name of T. AMMU. Last March 2021 bill was Rs.1004 and now bill is showing in online as Rs.6759 alongwith old arrears. Kindly share what are the arrears have been included in this bill and from when these arrears amount are lying as dues to pay to TNEB and how much unit have been considered in May 2021. Total Rs.6759 is very huge amount as my shop was closed more than 20 days in lockdown.
