Hello,
We live in Thirumalai nagar 10th cross street, Hasthinapuram, chrompet. For one past one month, we are facing low voltage problem a lot. Normally low voltage problem starts from
Evening itself. My one year old son can’t even sleep continuously for one hour. We are having only one transformer but apartments are more. Please have a look and do some necessary actions.

    EB payment recheck and correction

    I am L Sureshkumar from Kovur, tamil nadu. I have attached my EB card along with meter readings(both commercial and house eb details). kindly check and let me know the correct due amount.

    Bill readings are not taken from meter and it's house.but reading in bill shows nearly 2000 unit.. it's not possible..house meter shoes only 50 unit. Kindly look into ASAP

      Greetings,

      Our service number is [protected], the electricity bill states the amount of Rs.2638 for 630 units, but the house has been empty in the month of April and only one portion has been used in the month of May. Rs.2638 is impossible since no one has occupied the front portion of the house. No one had come to take the readings from the EB like they usually do, So I request you to please check the readings of the house and charge the electricity bill amount.

        We are in this pandamic situation so they have send above 500 units the amount have came above 2000 this is the 2019 year reading but we have calculated this month amount to be has 830 rupees

          We are living in kondithope and our EB office is located at 7 wells. Recently Government has suggested the consumers to capture the snapshot of the meter reading and share with AE WhatsApp Number or Email.

          AE WhatsApp is not active, hence we captured the snapshot of the meter and send an email to these address ([protected]@tnebnet.org, [protected]@tnebnet.org, [protected]@tnebnet.org, [protected]@tnebnet.org) address on 26th April. Since our Last meter reading dated on 25th March 2021.

          On 27th April I have received SMS that you need to pay "XXX" amount. On checking the portal found that amount has been calculated based on the previous assessment.

          Despite sending the required snapshot why the amount is being calculated based on the previous assessment. Could any one suggest whether this issue needs to taken to the next level, if yes to whom.

            My name is Julius. From arumuganeri ( Thoothukudi dist). There is no current supply only in my house here. In the evening, when I told the eb office about this, they gave me the wire man number. He gave me another number that I did not have .. No use since 4pm .. I have not got any answer till now..

            There is no response to contacting 4 wire man persons .. from children to adults are at home .. they have been taken away and have no conscience ... I am sending the mail just to know the real reason for it .. Pls considered sir..

              I am residing in Peramanur, opposite to Ford India Pvt Ltd, maraimalai nagar, Chennai. Here frequently power is not distributed properly. Atleast 3 hours power cut is there without any reason. No response to phone calls.

                Hi,

                Iam udhya pandian I was stayed in Chengalpattu and every two months my EB bill receive with minimum amount of 500 to 600 only. But in this time we received a bill 2500 rupee even In my home no ac and also used with limited electronics and my family was affected by covid so we never used a electronic items frequently . Kindly check this and let us know

                  Hi,

                  I live in Bharathiar Street of Vengadamagalam, pincode 127 where we are facing extreme power cut during lockdown as a result we are unable to take work from home due to this people are moving outside the home during pandemic.

                  There is no response from Mambakkam EB when called not sure if people are actually working. Please do look into this issue as quickly as possible.

                    Extension of cable needed but officers saying that software for extension related work is not working. can someone confirm this. If new software is taking time for golive, cant the old software can be taken into consideration.

                      Electric line in front of house rubbing against branches and creating spark and sound. It is an area where even small kids play so we have been complaining to TNEB no. 22581300 but the person keeps saying tomorrow. Its is very dangerous especially as its is windy season. Please kindly resolve this problem.

                          We have received a Bill for the Month of May 2021 of Rs. 10360. for 1600 units stating " Previous Assessment Amount Billed".

                          But our last bill reading dated 22nd March 2021 : 22760
                          Reading as on 26th May 2021 : 23176
                          Total units consumed : 416

                          Almost 1200 units extra, for the last one year, our billed amount is more than Rs.10000.

                          How can for 416 units bill amount is 10360.

                                    I am working from home at Kattathurai, Kanyakumari district since last 1year. Observed whenever there is a small rain, the power supply goes off and is not restored for minimum 2 days.

                                    Other normal days, every day there is power outage frequently for 10 to 15 times. We have complaint the EB office multiple times in vain.

                                    The bill and service tax is paid on timely manner but the service and disruption is pathetic, can you please resolve the frequent power supply outage issue.
