Tneb consumer no[protected] has used 213 units only from 19.03.2021 till date (20.05.2021), but I have received sms to pay Rs.1978. this calculation is wrong, which I can't pay, when didn't use.
Please recalculate the bill, and tell me how much should I pay.

    Electricity bill is extremely high for this month which is unacceptable for the house which is locked for 3 months i.e., Rs. 2000.
    It's illogical to pay the bill for the house which is locked for 3 months.
    And also for other neighbourhood houses, it's predominantly high.

    Request you to revisit the amount on this pandemic situation wherein we have no income generation

      I made a TNEB bill payment of Rs.1100 on 08-May-2021 for consumer number [[protected]] through INDIAN BANK net banking. The amount was debited from my bank account but the payment failed at the final step during receipt generation. Then I tried again through SBI net banking and the payment was successful. The status for the first transaction shows "Recommended for Refund" but not refunded even after 7 business days. Refund sent date is also not shown.

      I raised complaint 2 times in TNEB portal, and got reply that "The transaction is successful based on bank statement". But it does not reflect either in the TNEB account or credited back to bank account. Kindly help to resolve the issue and process the refund.

          [protected] is my consumer number. Last year during the month of July. I was asked to pay 21310 as electricity bill. I wrote registered complaint to all the authorities of Kanyakumari District but didn't receive any response. Kindly, bring justice

          Fearing that I'll have to live in darkness I paid the amount. I was so helpless and the EB people justified the mistake and replaced a new meter. I've never paid such a huge amount

          Though i reduced the use of AC, lights and stopped using inverter at home. I am being charged with 10000 which is more than previous month consumption. Kindly, check the meter and do the needful

              Sir, I am a resident of Komarapalayam, residing at 66E/23A, Iyyanthottam, Komarapalayam. I am not residing in the above address, as I am residing in my work place for the past 9 years. Only my aged mother is staying back with her sister. Normally the EB bill comes around Rs.260 to 500. But right now I am issued a bill to the tune of Rs.1978/- It is impossible to arrive at a bill to the value of more than Rs.300/- I may be given details about the calculation. Please note. Probably I am the first one to pay my bill-you can well verify my previous bills in the Archive. Nothing is given to understand as what was basis on which the calculation was made. In case of a basis, It should have been intimated to the consumer. I don't think that this is the way my promptness in bill payment rewarded this way! Waiting for your prompt reply.

                  My eb number is[protected]. Pls view the attachment. A due of Rs.4160 has been added in my eb account. I don't know what is this regard. Kindly clarify.

                    I'm Dr.KIRUTHIKA from arambakkam post, gummidipoondi Taluk, Thiruvallur District. As we are facing electricity problem by the Portia hich is present since 10 years and more. I asked the EB workers for about one week or so. They just tied the current wire with rope. Now we bought the pipe also and I again called them. They are asking for BRIBE for each wire and they are not willing also to come. I don't know what to do. They are just not responsible. Please take some step. Please take some step else it will provide harm to us.

                      For the service number [protected], we got bill Amount of Rs.2110. For the past 1 year we are not living at that house and Bill Amount for past 1 year was Rs.0.

                      Kindly revert back the current bill amount and make it to Rs.0, as we are not at all living there!

                        My normal bill came before only 50 unit as per record. I only used 3 lights some time in a day. And now as per latest bill charged for 550 unit which is fully wrong, I m not used (not have) any Air Conditioners, Refrigerator, washing machine nor any electricity consume appliances even I not stay in my quarter maximum time becouse of my job purpose.

                          Hi,
                          We have shifted our house two months back (on March) the house is locked and no tneb person came to note down the meter value for the curr month. Still the bill amount 4420 ₹ has been generated... My parents are retired and sick. The bill amt for the house we are staying in, is only 450₹ But the locked house claims 4420₹. Pls make a check and kindly regenerate the bill amt.

                            Respected Sir/Madam, we r very much surprised by receiving email for the EB bill generated for consumer account no:- [protected] in the name of Geeta dated 18/05/2021 for unit assessed 860 for the payment of Rs. 4156/- on or before 7/6/2021 in this connection we would like to state that we r in USA 🇺🇸 from last November 2020 and we had properly informed to AE for our departure in writing got signed by AE our home also Loked from last November 2020 and no one is in the home 🏡 then how EB bill generated for non usage of 860 units and ask payment of Rs.4156/- Please check and verify immediately and reply to my whatsup mobile no [protected] or email to me [protected]@ymail.com.                                     I have converted my temporary house connection to permanent and my last current bill amount is 207 and this month i got 3021 which eb people not even taken the reading. and my eb connection number is[protected]. please avoid this type of excess billing we are poor people and cant afford these billing.
