This is R.Mangalam, consumer no[protected], No.2, Eval street, Golden George nagar (extn), Chennai-600107, I made a complaint to the electricity department on 13.11.2020 about the error in the reading made in the month of August & October. But we haven't received a proper response on the complaint. As per the govt rules, we were paying the Current Consumption charges every month.
27.2.20 - Reading[protected]units- Rs. 650
April 2020 - Due to Covid, we were asked to pay the same Rs.650
June 2020- Due to Covid, we were asked to pay the same Rs.650
August 2020- Nobody came to take reading but mentioned the reading as Reading[protected] units which was wrong.
As per the readings taken from our side on the date 28.08.2020 it was Reading(16142). And 494 units/billing cycle
Which should be divided for three billing cycles but the electricity department made an error.
On 10.10.2020, they came to take reading and noted (17090) and units 2130 for which we were asked to pay Rs.11238.
We're kindly requesting you to inspect on the error made and divide the units for three billing cycles as per the month of August. And give a seperate bill for October. 20.1.2021 we received a revert back for our online complaint as a post letter from JE (Mogappair East)
27.1.2021 We sent a response letter for the letter we received on 20.1.2021 from JE (Mogappair East) and we've not gotten a response yet. 6.03.2021 Mr. Ezhumalai from EB tp cut off the fuse from our house, he behaved rude to me and my family. I explained him saying there's error in the reading and I've sent so many complaints, but have not gotten a proper response or solution yet. I've been asked to meet Mr. Ezhumalai asked me to meet the AE.
08.03.2021 I have went and met the AE and ATO, they spoke to me and said they will talk to AO and get back to me on the issue.
we are attaching all the complaints with this mail, we have our card proof and also screenshot of the EB reading online.
we're ready to pay the bills right away but we need a solutions on the complaints made by us and we have been running for this issue since November 2020 and have gotten no proper response, this is bringing in frustration and also financial burden since our electricity due is stacking up. kindly resolve the issue as soon as possible.
