We have installed on-grid solar power in our house in Madipakkam, Chennai. for the last two readings, the assessor is either not knowing or is not considering that the meter installed is a net-meter. When we say it is a solar net-meter, the person did not even listen. We are paying heavy amount as the assessor is noting down only the usage and not the production. There was an issue like this at the start of the installation and after that it was ok for 1.5 years now. Please do the needful for the refund of the amount paid in accordance with the net reading for the last 2 billing cycles.

    Why power cut happens daily for more than 1 hr. It's too bad. As we are in capital of a state, chennai. We get power cuts. Even thought in villages there is no power cut. It's too bad. Ridiculous. Please solve this as soon. As it is (No current cut state) why this happens??? That too we are in centre of chennai. Why this happens??? Now a days its too bad by the government of tamilnadu. Not taking action on this

    Dear sir/madam my father applied tatkal scheme 3 phase connection at 2018 jul 2.5 lakhs the same time TNEB said with in 6 month 3 phase connection work we will complete but till date they can't give the connection we are paid money through bank only we have dd xerox. My question is when they give the connection we dont have drinking water.

      Hi team.. We are facing power cut every night for.. Particularly 3 to 4 houses.. Street lights are on but no power at home. We are facing this problem for last one month. Every time we are running to nearest eb office to inform about the powercut. For time being they are fixing but no permanent solution, this is happening every night from 10 to 1.         tneb login problem for online payment

        Last year i was register tneb login for online payment purpose

        Now my login id and password has been forgot... And also my email id has not correctly enter while register tneb login

        My email id has entered: [protected]@gamil.com like this... So i can't recover my password... So please give a solution for this (Or) delete my online...

          Dear sir, my consumer no.[protected]. Living in k. Chetttipalaym, tiruppur.in our opposite house, eb person living, name ramasamy, planting 2 trees last 10 years. Now the trees well growth in and around eb main line. I am repeatedly complaint to ae, k. Chettipalayam, tiruppur office. But he is not responding still now. The branches of the trees towards our house, if rain, or wind blow heavily the branches of tree fall into my house and affect by person and my buildings. Please take adequate step to remove the tree or cut the main portion of the branches towards our house. If the damages cause due to this trees, electricity board is soul responsibility further.           For the past two weeks there is no street light in our street please take the action as soon as possible.
          Power off since 9 hours, no action will be taken by the EB employees our town is without having since 9 hours.
          Single phase is not coming and i complied to EB my area but not response and i have been waiting for 3 days. there is no response from them i reqeust you to take action
          Namakkal district armed reserve police quarters, when rain comes power shutdown before 15.min and rain stopped in half or 1 hour but power will come nextday morning. Ragularly we face this type of difficulty. Ex: 26.05.2019

            Hi,

            Could you please look into this streets located at guindy area (Near by railway stations). I have shifted my home here 3 months back. I have noticed there are frequent shutdown in this area at night time. Its coming back in morning between 9 -10 am. Why its not rectified if there is an issue in short period of time. This is not a first time its happened several time (Approx :5).

            They really need entire night to rectify the issue. Its not tolerable, why can't you rectify this quickly.

              Sir, we are in vivekanandhapuram north devakottai. Yesterday night we had a powercut in our street at 9.30 pm. We called eb emergency no for many times but there is no response from them. We can't able to sleep for the whole night. Even though there is know tough weather condition for the powercut. This is not first time for us. Already several times we had this same problem in our street. But there is action taken for there side. So we request you to solve the powercut problem in our street.

The eb employees doesn't take any necessary actions to correct the failure and i have called to thiruninravur sub station of eb that doesn't pick up the call what a wrost eb station.                   We have a tough time getting our paid service after several personal interaction and through phone complaints the respective personnel from tneb doesn't seem to be worried about our concern as we have to go again and again calling them over the phone and all they show is lack of progress. We need our services as we find difficult again and again going back to them doing nothing.

                    No meter value is written and they charged excess cc charge 2176 accd charge 2100 kindly look in to this and do the needful

                    Past 5 months tneb is adding acct charges and every time we are paying more 2000

                    I raised the complaint on 26 may but till now no response

                    The bill every month they have added accd charges

                    Please look in to this and do the needful.

                    When I am trying to pay my online EB bill, I got the error like "Service connection not live!" After a check with the Know your service no. My service status showed "Disconnected".

                    So, what I have to do now. Kindly reply as soon as possible.

                      It says my service connection not live my account infos
                      09- south chennai and connection number:[[protected]]. I have not been receiving my electricity bill for like last 4 months and we are not even receiving bills from tneb but there is no problem in power we are getting free electricity for the past 4 months or does it comes with a heavy fine though it is a inconvenience caused by tneb itself it doesn't provide bills properly

                        We are running a printing press in tondiarpet area. We are facing the cable fault in our press very often (Monthly 5 times). When we register the complaint, they are taking 3 days to solve the issue. When we ask the a. E, he is saying there is no resource... When we ask for the permanent solution, he is not properly responding... And time are coming to the work at 11.00am in the morning... I don't think this is the working time for them. We have complained this issue to the department ad and no response from him also as they are linked into the same group. We need a permanent solution for the eb issue in future. Please take up this complaint and solve this issue asap.

                            wrong billing amount in the server - difference between meter reading and the server

                            Ambattur kallikuppam is very worst eb office in tamil nadu no proper response for customers..
                            They are playing with power cut on / off switch,

                            Power cut is happening regularly in day time and night time every day. Maximum 2 to 3 hours power cut happens including night time at 11 pm and 1 am to 2:30 pm.

                            Reports went to tamil nadu cm cell.. Hope this issue will resolve soon.....

                            I am veerappan servai, sc. No.[protected]Sirugavayal) melamanakkudi sub station.

                            Recent electricity charges is rs.545.00 due on 06/06/2019 for my house. It is very unreasonable and it is not normally we charged moreover we never use any additional home appliances. It may be due to the faulty meter.

                            Kindly consider our bill and waive the charges. Please replace the faulty meter.

                            Appreciate your kind consideration and prompt response on this matter.

                              We are been in trouble for more than a month due to voltage fluctuation in our house where high high power consumption electronic items are not working. The reason behind this is our three phase connection was cut off without our knowledge and given single phase connection. Our supply given to marriage hall.                                 We are at golden avenue velachery. There are frequent power cuts and low voltage for the past 3 weeks. Yesterday night the power cut happen at 12 and full night no power. We don't know when the power came in the day as till morning 10am power didn't come. Today again night 10pm power gone. When we call eb no one is attending the phone. It is very difficult to stay without power the whole night.
