There is a frequent power cut happening in chembala (next to gudalur town, the Nilgiris 643 212).There is a powercut for more than 6 hours a day and no action is been taken related to this issue, in addition there is a fluctuation in voltage.But the gudalur town, which is very much close to this region doesn't have any issues regarding power cut.We don't get a satisfactory response for this issue.Everyone finds difficulty in leading their livelihood.please do take immediate action to stop this.

    I have been facing severe disruption in power supply since the last 2 months. Terrible fluctuations, only one or two phases coming at will. The eb officials detected breakage in cable and made a joint.in the last 2-3 months the joint has given up on 4 occassions always demanding an emergency.

    Eb officials have been recommending change of the entire cable length of nearly 20 mtrs right from day-1. Ae advised purchase of cable by me as eb will not replace the cable.in addition is the demand for labour everytime to dig the underground cable. The entire process has been costing money and had to be got done with no options available.

    Yesterday, with great reluctance, eb at the direction of ae provided a temporary joint (Forthe fourth time) with the assurance to provide cable conncection today (20th may). I was advised to get new cable, get labourer and ensure laying of the cable, after which eb will ensure connectivity.

    Desperate i had got the cable and arranged a labourer but in the morning ae informed that he can undertake this only tomorrow (21st may). So the temporary joint continues exposed to the skies and endangering animals and birds around.

    Following require clarification:
    1. Is the cable from pole to the meter board to be procured by consumer?
    2. Is the consumer required to arrange labourers for digging and arrange laying out the cable from meter board to the pole?

    Having suffered for the past 2-3 months, i request intervention to advise immediate rectification of the above and enable reliable power supply.

      The base of pole Supporting 11 KV Transmission line apparently appears eroded.This line is is laid along the road to Brindavan Paradise retirement home in pudupalalayam from Vadavalli Thondamuthur main road.Needs inspection.

        Sir i have nit paid my tneb bill for march month on date. I checked on 26th march in app for online payment at that time my connection was disconnected. I was unable to pay the bill amount. As i was busy with my work later. I forgoted to pay the bill amount. So i want to know the payment to be paid long with penality charges. My connection number is[protected] name c. S ramachandran.             power cut through out the day for nearly 11 hours

            We are residents of villupuram town. The usual saturday shut down was announced and the power was off from 9.00a. M. Even after 7.45 p. M in the evening the power was not given.in this summer it's not necessary to define the suffocation inside the house without power. No words on the planning and maintainence of our government concerns. Proud to be an indian that too a tamilian. Jai hind!...

            In the sathuvachery state bank colony area there is no power for the last three hours. There was no intimation either. On enquiry it is found that as new connection activities are undertaken for a new hotel at sathuvachery, the power has been swithced off. Is it not ridiculous that everybody should suffer in hot and severe sun for an individual hotel to get benefit. The work shuold have been undertaken in the period of evening or morning times where the suffering could have been less. It shows eb is not concerned with common man suffering compared to business establishement. No prior intimation was given for this power cut. The are consists of mostly senior citizens and patients. We need a proper explanation for this kind of attitude

              I am a consumer in anna nagar west, g block, 1st street, i have made a complaint regarding my faulty meter replaced in december 2018. After replacement of meter i am getting double or triple consumption charges for which i gave a written complaint giving xerox copies of my exorbitant meter readings and charges to the ae concerned and it is nearly ten days and no action has been taken to rectify the defect or if necessary change the faulty meter but nobody is interested to solve the problem of a senior citizen aged 70 and i hope that competent authority will look into the matter immediately and solve my problem at the earliest.                 Im from area called venkatesapuram in arakkonam pin 631002. There is an huge voltage fluctuations in my street called bajanai koil street. We experiencing very low voltages on summer.
                It suffer us lot. Aftrol we cant enjoy the speed of fan. It runs like wind mill. We experiencing only 150 to 160 voltage. Please use one or more transformers to control the voltage fluctuations.

                  I have made TNEB payment through STATE BANK OF INDIA 3 times since i got payment failure. But the money got debited of Rs.896 each time, total of Rs.2688 debited from my bank account. I waited for some 7 working days thinking that refund will be automatically processed by their side but no refund was initiated, So I raised a complain regarding payment in www.tnebnet.org on 08/05/2019 20:05:00 complain id [protected] but still now I dint get any response.

                    I'm subhash elumalai. I already raised a complaint about this on 30th april, 2019. Case id: 2317192.in our thathapalaiyam village (Under kalasapakkam (Taluk), tiruvannamalai (Dist) transformer and 1 eb pole was very close to road, its may chance for many accident. This is primary road for many villages. Due to avoid the accident please shift the eb pole to some other place.

                    Friday (10th may, 2019) some persons came to my village from eb office. They looked out the eb poles and they are excepting some amount from 15k to 25k for shifting the poles. This is not my personal work. I was raised this complaint for people's safety and awareness. Who's can give such a hug amount from their pocket. Please check regarding this and update what action taken for the case.

                      Se. No.[protected] guduvanchery east existing my flat was effected under tf lm61/vi used for building construction for the period of 3 march 2018 to 5 november 2018. After building construction service changed from for flat's common domestic service on 2 january 2019.
                      Please check this service assessment history for get more details on some misleading meter reading on construction period. Same meter is continuing for the service assessment till now but recently there has been accd deposit rs.2300 requested for the service in the construction period reading. Pease check this issue and cancel the deposit.

                        There was power fluctuation problem occurred in my residence and sri pachaiamman kovil (Hrce undertaking temple)

                        On 04.05.2019 :- regarding this same issue, we have given written petition to ae 63 div centl chn #[protected] and he comitted me to rectify this issue on 06.05.2019 but after few days due to power high voltage problem, we have lost 2 tube light and fan.

                        Last couple of days, we are using temp current in street box, eb foc foreman done wire connection and given power past three days using only fan and light.

                        Still eb ae not rectified the issue & i had a conversion to de & ee since im from public activist there is no response from ae.

                        Kindly take necessary action against this issue.

                        I'm it payer all taxes paying properly. Kindly take action irresponsible ae in 63 div.

                          Just now a big power burst happened at the EB tower near Nethaji Nagar, Tondiarpet, Chennai - 600081. It seems like the power line and tower related to the Indian Oil Corporation.

                          Past 2 days, Sparks occasionally came and today 13/05/19 at around 09.05 pm, a Big power burst happened with huge sound and Spark light.

I would like to inform that he has got more than 2000 rupees for this as fees but not yet fixed. My parents who are retired from government sector are aged above 75yrs in this summer season they are struggling a lot without current and has developed stress.                                 I'am jayanth residing at avadi,
                                Paruthipet, indira nagar area.in our area there are nearly
                                5 apartments and about 50 independent houses (Approx). Here we get low voltage as low as 100 v to 180 volt at night time
                                Between 9 pm to 3am everyday, this is been for the past 3 year and no action has been taken from our local officials.
                                One time alone tneb officials came for checking voltage at day time around 10 am, but day time we don't have any
                                Problem in voltage and power fluctuation. These are not only low voltage, many times power cut and there is continuous
                                Fluctuation from 180 volt to suddenly 110 volt. "this is voltage sag", the voltage sag is not advisable for house hold equipments. Due to these our home appliances getting totally damaged and we are forced to buy new appliances. Here most of houses are cmda approved and the number of houses and connections is getting increased. Now also many apartments are being built here and the connection process are going with out erecting the transformer yet.
                                As per procedure i hope so each apartment connection must be approved with one transformer that is a rule in tneb, but "we have only one transformer to feed all these houses (4 apartments, 50 independent house one marriage hall etc) and that too connected and looped with other areas occasionally." i hope this is illegal connections given as of now. Probably all the houses here are with minimum two acs and a fridge used in all house.
                                Still now in each of the houses the ac compressor and fridge, led tvs and many home appliances is
                                Damaged, especially for ac compressor and fridge we spend rs 10000 for every repair.
                                In my house i spent rs 30000 to repair two ac compressor, and a fridge compressor, and other amenities which is an unnecessary expense for me. The fans and other electric appliances also not working during that time. Mainly compressors of cooling systems get affected and not able to repair it, we ought to buy only new compressor which is high in cost. But the problem is, still the new ones also running in low voltage and fluctuations which makes us fear, since it may get repair
                                Again. So please please take necessary action and move forward for erecting additional transformer to support

                                We as public consumer ready to help for any queries, the only intention o[censored]s is to solve the problem, i hope no public will give you such a detailed summary of problem instead of just complaining, i hope this issue will be get solved, and am following this from chennai officials for the past one year, but still we don't get any response. Also am for sure we need a 500 kva transformer here, please check that too, the 250 kva will not afford or will not solve the problem, again we will face the same issue. Recently the rto office and registrar office buildings also built here and the works are in progress but there is no any sign of work in progress from electricity board.

                                These problem is solvable but not taking any action regarding this in our area.
                                Our house hold equipment are damaged, many near by areas are getting full power with out any issues.
                                We know if transformer is erected this problem can be solved, but still there is a lag in this issue. Due to this our eb bill pay also high due to heavy fluctuation. Also the tariff price is triple the amount from the past five years of slab rate, but those time we got good power, but in the place of paying eb bill of about 3000 inr, we are paying 12000, 15000 inr etc, but now our electronic house hold products also get damaged inclusive of the eb bills too. This is a big burden for us. So please take it as a serious and sensitive issue and make it solve as soon as possible. As a public consumer we will be happy and thankful to you if its done quickly.

                                  On 5th apr, my eb meter (Consumer no. :[protected] got slightly burnt and the line got tripped. Immediately informed & got corrected in poster and for me, meter disconnected and made it through.

                                  For the same, rs. 1, 437 paid on 8th of apr to replace the meter. But, as of now yet to replace.

                                  I'm from pathirakottai village, panruti tk. There is a power cut of 2 hours to my knowledge as i was out before that and now facing another power cut in night already 3 hours gone by now. I was searched for the eb number and got it in google but when i trying call that number it says the number is not correct. I don't know why the power cut is happening this long in summer. And i don't know this earlier as i was returned to my home after a long time but now suffering by not getting my sleep. I hope they sleep well, i wish them for that. Very upset with the service
