Complaint EB Excess Bill

Address: No.5/65,Ellaiyamman Nagar, New Gummidipoondi

Dear Sir,

I am submitting a complaint regarding an excess bill raised to my room. past six years my eb bill not even reached Rs.500 (bill history attached with this mail for your reference) now i am received bill of Rs.3034 i am working person i using electricity on night time only and my room having one tv, 3 led light and one fan only then the bill will come high. i requesting you to please check the current meter if any...

An Employee from TNEB took reading on 12.5.2022 and bill amount is Rs :- 290.

Then he didn't come to take reading for next 2 months but the amount is charged 290 same as may month. and also we paid the amount 290 on (17.07.2022) within the deadline.

Yesterday (12.09.2022) a guy from TNEB came to take reading, he calculated the unit and amount for 4 months(May to September) and the amount is Rs:-517.

But, We paid the bill for july month of Rupees :- 290.But the guy charged the amount including 4 months.

We went to EB office today(13.09.2022) to ask about this issue. But the guy in TNEB is not accepting the Mistake on their side.

He is telling some silly reasons..

1.Door is locked.
2.New employee came to take reading.
3.They don't know where the house location.

I have attached the photo of readings gap between may month and September month.

Kindly Look into this.

      High Electricity bill

      Sir im residing at medavakkam. My eb card number is [protected]. My regular bill is below 2000 and this time it comes around 12000 which is unacceptable. when I looked my bill history for last 3 bills, all are 300 units and Rs. 530. After i realised that they didn't come and take the reading by default they put approximate reading of 300 for last three times, and now they took real eb reading and all additional readings from old bills are...

      We went 3 times to the eb office and we checked four times our house for the current complaint. The units are coming double. but the a.e is not responding for us. they are not supporting us to change the meter

          Hi sir/madam,

          We are so many times informed to our TNEB office.but till not response. Our street pole very worst damage condition. Because near by child school will be there. And so many more family will be there. (Street pole between school 20 feet only) all the families fearing all times. So kindly short out the issues immediately. And change street pole immediately.

            Due to the falling of trees on electric post

            Sir,
            I m from shivaya nagar 11 th cross, new fairlands, salem.

            Often the coconut tree leaves fall on our electrical post and our power cut happens .
            Even for one full night power cut happens due to the tree in my neighbour home . I have a baby in my home. This issue makes us very difficult to manage.

                        Power connection not coming since 5.30 PM on 2.9.22 due to Neutral fault. Complained to Sembium Office immediately. EB officials cam 3.30 PM on 3.9.22 but still not rectified and told will come on Monday 5.9.22.
                        They also informed us that for digging and laying cables cost has to be borne by us. We are ready to pay unless proper receipts are given to us

                          I am a senior citizen aged 70years, residing alone at the address given below for the past 5 months. My children are not living with me. I use minimum electricity but the electricity bill for May - June was Rs.8232 and Jul - y August is Rs.3826/-
                          I understand that the meter is faulty/defective. I request you to kindly change the meter and replace it with a new one to avoid excess billing.

                            I have been living in this building for more than 3 years. Since a year, there has been issues with the power. I complained to my house owner, and EB, and each time I have to call the lineman, and he links my wire from the pole. They have been telling me that the wires needs to be replaced, and unfortunately, my house owner is not listening to this. we are 8 tenents, staying on lease. Two houses among the 8 are on rent. On the terrace, there are bachelors staying, more than 20 in numbers.

                            In 6 months duration, everyone is facing unnecessary power cut and we have to complaint the EB office. Now its been two week, and we dont have power. She has asked us to take power from our neighbor's line. Since all the lines are weak, we dont know what to do if there is a fire or any mishap happening.

                            My line is taken from my neighbor's meter box, and common line( motor and bachelor's line) is taken from another neighbor's box. People who are staying in the first floor also doesnt have power. so thier line is taken from thier neighbor's box again.

                            This way she is trying and giving us power for time being and making us stay quiet. But we want her to change the wires and we can stay peacefully. We have small kids at home.
