For the cons. No.[protected], md was wrongly raised as 98kw instead of 7.35kw during 0-4/18 and corrected as 7.35kw during 19.6.18 bill. Accordingly for the bill dated 23.4.18 fc -13720/- paid instead of rs.1120/- and for the bill dated 19.6.18 rs.13720/- paid instead of 1120/- hence an amount of rs. 25200/- has been paid excess. There have been very frequent electricity outrages in velachery. And when you call the eb number[protected] there is a male who answers the phone. He does not even try to listen to what you have to ask. He just yells and says “i said current will come. Keep the phone”. I dont think this is the right attitude towards civilians.
We need to work towards making our govt offices more approachable and efficient...

I paid the electricity bill through online on 03/12/2018. The first transaction was done through iob debit card with an amount of rs.2044 paid. Which is shown in the bill history also.

But by mistake, i made another transaction through iob also - same amount of rs.2044 paid once again.

Pl refund the amount since the payment was made twice.

In my house, there was random current cuts with low and high voltage issues. Due to that all equipment's in my house are damaged and it cost more than 70000 rs,. Even though i have complained, they don't care about my words and behaving rudely with me. I am preparing for gov't exam, and unable to use any gadgets. My family is poor and we are not capable of fixing any equipment's in future.

The power cut is felt from yesterday (04/12/18) till today (05/12/18).
Please provide electricity. I have a baby and she is not able to sleep because of this power failure. There are many senior people and kids in and around our area it is very difficult for everyone the mosquitoes are also worst now.

We are still experiencing difficulty in getting power connection for our area.

Even the tneb persons are not taking proper attention in providing connection... Pls expedite since the main source of drinking water is based on electricity only.

In our own house 2 nos of tenants are there. Our tenants are lower middle class people and not they no need more power consumption. While we are there also we dont get this much eb bill amount. Not using much electricity. But the bill amount generated is rs.9000.

The eb reading taking authority dont have the facility to see our reading meter box. So the bill amount may be billed approximately.

We are residents of aishwarya apartment, subbiah nagar, iyappanthangal, chennai -600056. Near to our house we have very old eb post which is almost tilted and all high voltage lines passing very close to our apartment.in recent rains, with in 2 week period we had 3 line issues. Frequently eb line getting short circuited, earthing/ shock occurs near to the post and dangerous high voltage line which passing close to resident is of high risk.in...

We have registered both online complaint on 21.11.2018 and manual complaint register maintained by e. B office on 04.12.2018 but till not attended and not solved eb supply failed. Many time we are contacted by phone and simply the line man told coming and coming and till the date he is not coming to solve the issue.
