Last meter reading was taken on 17.09.2018 in nellikuppam road i. E., in lancor apartments. As per guidelines meter reading is to be obtained once in 2 months.in this already 2 months exhausted and no lineman came for taking meter readings. This caused delay in taking meter readings resulting in more units for longer periods. If the reading is taken for 60, the reading will be less than 500 units. Since reading is going to be taken beyond 60 days, the consumption will be increased for more than 500 units. If the no. O[censored]nits exceeds 500 the billing will be doubled. For no fault of the customer, he has to shell out higher amount. Hence, kindly bill the consumers proportionately ie., actual consumption for 60 days or 2 months only.

    Due to high voltage at our residential complex., many electric appliances have bursted.. We complained already at local eb office but they didn't response properly. We want immediate action against this. As it is a residential complex there is a chance of affecting many families living here... Also children are living with us. We want to concentrate on their safety also...

      I paid my tneb bill through tangedco app on 4-nov (Deadline 9-nov) and i got a mail from tneb on 14-nov saying my payment not approved by bank and got below in mail for the 5 transactions i made. Due to that i again need to pay my bills immediately to avoid disconnection with late fee. I paid the bills with late fee and contacted bank. They said it was debited and credited to tneb. I need the amount to be reverted back and because of this i paid late fee too.

        My tenant was used the tneb online payment option. Now she vacated and not giving the user is and password. Now i am the new tenant how to change the user id and password of online bill payment. If i am clicking the forget password and user name it is going to the old email which was created previously.
        Please change that old mail id

        Meter is not working for past two months but not replaced yet. And in my room there are only 2 nos of 9 w bulb but my bill was about 531 RS as taking as average for one year.before me alternate person stays in the room uses mixy stove etc so that much ammount in previous readings.pls change my meter immediately or reduse my bill ammount for my currently connected loads.

          extreme fluctuation in current

          We are experiencing extreme fluctuations in the current since the past 3 days at d block, 7th street, chintamani, anna nagar east. It is so bad that we are afraid to turn on our electrical gadgets lest they blow up. Acs, tvs everything is at risk. Even the lift has a technical issue on account of the extreme fluctuation!

          Kindly fix this issue immediately. We are running out of patience now....

          In my street, street light not working for more than a month its happening repeatedly last also october, november, december, january, february its not worked again this year also started.. It is the main street connecting bazaar street lot of chances to take an accident so please take immediate action...           TNEB marked as resolved but still its not resolved..
          My application date 14.8.2018 not yet change the tariff
          No reading information is given to the consumer. Without informing us how could i pag my bill and last date. Just now they pluged out my fues asked to stand for few mins ill pay my eb bill but without patience they went. No answer when calling to Kanadukathan EB office and even called to AE of EB office.

              Sir my application dated 24/09/2018. Ae is demanding too many documents to register my application. As per rules last eb bill is enough for ownership proof.
              More over there room of 100 sq feet in my upstairs. There is no measurement stipulation for giving s/c. There should be permanent physical segregation of areas. It is there in my house. They need not worry what is inside the room. It depends on how the consumers utilises it. There will be toilet bath room inside the room. It is the look out of the consumer. Earlier se inspected my house and given orders to effect connection but ae ade de are not in favour. Se could not implement his order. Still pending. Request intervention and justice. Papers are with me.

                Sir, my village is kottaipatti, thumbai patti post, melur tehsil, madurai dist,, 3 electric poles and power lines totally destroyed during kaja puyal on 15 november 18. Lot of tree's also broken. Please evacuated all power lines and install the electric poles and lines on this village on priority basis. Here all of people is former. Panchayat of kachirayanpatti no till any work done against. No any eb department reached this village. Myself serving in indian army in punjab sector. My family and parents are living in this village. Thanks

                  We, the residents of aindhupanai would like to draw your kind attention towards the poor upkeep of street lights in our region. The street lights in our region have not been repaired for quite a while. During the evening individuals frequently stagger down. Additionally, non availability of proper lighting across the streets increases a further chance of accident and other mishaps. There is an insecure situation when women come alone in the night and also lot of vehicles pass through this route so that accidents occur so i kindly request you to take necessary move towards the problem...                     eb meter display blank

                    Hi,

                    Our eb meter display is blank with the back light on but there is no display. This month they should have taken reading but i have not received anything so far. Please help to resolve this asap.
                    I think we might be charged previous month bill which is very unfortunate since we paid more amount due to summer but since last couple of months it is rainy season in chennai, we have not used a/c and expected less power...

                    I, (Residing at motilal street, first floor, house no.3, t. Nagar, chennai 600017,), would like to inform you that since we were out of station last month (Oct.2018) we could not make payment of eb bill ₹50/- before due date and hence the connection was disconnected. As soon as we returned back we had made payment of eb bill with penalty ₹128/- on 08.11.2018.in order to make payment of eb bills online in future i proceeded to register by submitting details of my service connection no.[protected]. When checked details screen displayed "service connection not live". My frequent contacts to your department personnel are of no avail. My land lord also informed that he had deactivated on line payment already. Please extend necessary help for proceeding further

                      Hi,
                      I'm writing this to know about non-payment of tneb bill.
                      I have bought an plot last year having single phase supply for sump motor. Since we haven't use and residing in bangalore, we didnt check the bill. Last week when i just went and checked the status of the eb connection, i came to know that there was a bill of around rs.7000 is not paid from june'2017 (Almost 18months) and the status is in disconnected mode. The corresponding location tneb office payment section officer told he cannot enable the connection as the system is not allowing to accept the payment and asked to goto aao office.

                      My questions are:
                      1. Since it is not paid for almost one and half year, is there a chance of permanent disconnection?
                      2. Whether aao office (R) can resolve our issue and enable my tneb connection again after i pay the dues?

                      In between collector office and derik super market opposite to Raymond showroom; there is a post inclined and about to fall. Set it right immediately.
                      There are a total of about 100 homes in this area, but all households have very little electricity. Sometimes the power outages are either emergency or very low
                      I urge you soon to get the solution

                          Payment done on 9th october 2018 using sbi credit card on tneb for 5 bills. Only two got credited but 3 payments not credited on tneb but amount debited from sbi credit card.
                          Tneb has declined because they do not have data.
                          Pursued with hdfc payment gateway team and got the information that amount was received from credit card but due to payment gateway problem that the amounts were not credited to tneb.
                          With repeated reminders, followup, got the transaction details from hdfc team.

                              Fuse taken from my house. Bill payed. Please give the fuse back as current is not available children are there. Eb person noted the meter reading and went off without informing us or entering team note. How come we know that he has noted the eb reading, if we are out of station what will be the case. This is quite ridiculous. It is a shame that tamil nadu eb sector is like this.

                                  Since we, residing at first floor of 1, mothilal street, t. Nagar, chennai, were out of station, we could not pay eb bill. Of rs.50/= before due date and hence en connection was disconnected
                                  When we came to know about this subsequently we had arranged for payment of the same on 08.11.18 and paid rs.128/= with penalty
                                  In future to avoid occurrence of such mistakes.., we have decided to make payments on line.

                                  While registering for online payment in tneb portal for sc no.[protected] i could not proceed further due to error "service connection not live". Please resolve the issue.
