Tneb office - kolathur-sakthivel nagar.
Complaints: 1. Wrongly calculated the reading
2. Poor response / no proper guidance / no proper answer
3. Not accepting written complaint
4. Doest know how to speak to the consumer - local language, shouting etc.
5. For anything make complaint / request no service provided - ex: in our apartment we have 3phase line in each house, even one day no three phase connection. Complaint many times. But till date...
6. We are paying the money for consuming electricity. Not free.
7. Need clarifications of reading/calculation/ thanks.

    ### Son Kandigai AE is asking money for name transfer. I ### his daughter for that. SC and ST people are majority in Kandigai EB Department. Lots of SC and ST People in Kandigai EB Department sell their wife and daughter. Please help me and Unitech apartment people from this guy. Please give suggestions. EB is not taking reading in Unitech apartment regularly. So we are paying lot of money every month. Please take action against EB department in Kandigai, Vandalur - Kelambakkam Road.

        Hi,

        Last three years our mango form production is very poor due to water issues, so we have put a borewell and applied electricity connection in uthukottai, but je kumaraguruvan is asking bribe of 40000 and connection charges 10000 and during fitting he needs 1000 for 20 people and food. We are doing agriculture and government is encouraging to do agriculture but electricity board is killing us like this,. And i told i will not encourage bribe you have to give connection, it been ages but he is saying ad is stopping the connection, but this je is very rude in behavior and making us to walk to the eb station for at least 20 + times, shall we die or will you arrange connection?

Since there was not reply had called 1912 as per the registered complaint (Which was given) and to my shock i have been told that only eb complaint reg power supply etc., will be attended.           We are facing continuos power shutdown and voltage drop in our residence and nearby shops. We have reported this issue several times to eb but no actions take as of today. Also, the response from eb is not satisfactory.

            We are residing at plot no.8, bharathi street, gangai nagar, kallikuppam, and chennai-600053 which is located in ward no.082 at zone 07.
            Please find below the photos of tamilnadu electricity board (Tneb) electrical post at damaged condition.
            This electrical post is around 30 years old and condition of the electrical post is very pathetic and it can fall at any time.
            We have complained the same to concern zone representatives of tneb (Ambattur) but no action has been taken as of now.
            People living in this street are very much scared and it can create a fatal incident any time.
            We request you to kindly take immediate action to replace the damaged electrical post.

              I have requested eb board to change the meter for temporary on 18th october 2018 and paid the amount for the same. And 3 field officers came on 24th october 2018 to change the meter board. Finally they are demanding for 1000rs as a charge for their work. We don't have a option to say no, because of we need the electricity. Please take an immediate action to those field officers and branch officers. And this has to be stopped.

                  For the past two occasions the meter reading taken was wrong, after they entered the reading i next day found the reading as 6190 but they have noted as 6990, because in the previous month of aug. They have noted as 6380. After 20 days today the reading is 6828. And also there is no much activity in the first floor after my son and daughter-inlaw have gone to madurai, i request that the meter may please be checked for over reading.                     I have called customer service no 1912. Around 11pm. They informed me that we have taken complaint and we will take action in 30min. After 30min i called same no. They informed me one phase jas been triped we have found and it will b solved in 30 min... But no one came to triplicane. Then i called at mor 4. Am but they r saying ur complaint is in gp area. I said i complain triplicane with my clear area address... But one guy is saying my mistakely area might be updated wrongly and taking roudly... Useless customer care service as like emergency eb sector

                        My meter box is not working for the past 3 months. Every time i go to eb office to resolve this issue, there is no one present to address the issue. Also i get bland replies saying, come after 10 days, no 3-phase meter available. Come after 25 days.

                        But the bill generated is calculated by average, which i am paying 4000, whereas usual bill is around 700-800 rupees in winter season.

                        When questioned, the answers given are, we are doing as per rules.

                        Also, we are getting most adamant answers. Kindly resolve this issue at the earliest.

                          We have complained about electric pole damage to pattabiram eb board 2 weeks back. Till now no action has been taken.
                          The electric pole in so. Much damaged state it can fall down anytime and due to that many people will die.
                          Why no action is taken even after 2 weeks of written complain??
                          Pattabiram. Eb board is waiting for someone to die and then take action. Or waiting for money to given??
                          They have accepted written letter after 4 times i have visitsd there to. Submit the complain.

                            My consumer number is[protected].. I have been trying to pay my current bill for the last two days, but unable because after i enter the payment the screen starts going to the payment link but immediately it shows the following
                            "redirect:redirect=? Dhjhy2tpzhxudwxs"
                            Request rectify the defect and have the link online so that we can pay our bills
                            On line and its a big inconvenience. I used to pay immediately on receipt of bill. Now i am struck for the past four days. I am unable to go to office for payments.. So kindly request u to resolve the issue as early as possible. So that i can pay online easily

                                Hi am from 303/5 belly area anna nagar chennai, current went by early morning 1.05 am and searched for eb num thru just dail and called ‭+[protected]‬ and this gentleman told that they don’t fix this area and gave a different num to be contacted ‭+[protected] and have been trying to contact this num for 1 hour and it’s ringing and there is no response, pls help what needs to be done if the current goes in the mid night and people are so irresponsible at your office to fix the issue

                                      I am staying in kerala, kochi. I have purchased one villa in chennai at omr road, name bollineni hillside colony. Unit no 4 and block no 6. I have paid my electricity bill 9667 on jun 22- 2018. Since that time no body is stying in this villa. Last month again almost same amount bill i got. As i am far away from chennai, i called eb office, there no body wants to talk, they said neither they can speak english nor hindi. It's a big problem for me.
                                      I want some help to resolve this issue.
                                      Please help me.
