I am staying in kerala, kochi. I have purchased one villa in chennai at omr road, name bollineni hillside colony. Unit no 4 and block no 6. I have paid my electricity bill 9667 on jun 22- 2018. Since that time no body is stying in this villa. Last month again almost same amount bill i got. As i am far away from chennai, i called eb office, there no body wants to talk, they said neither they can speak english nor hindi. It's a big problem for me.
I want some help to resolve this issue.
Please help me.

I have been paying my eb bills online. For past two months i have not been receiving my eb bills online and unable to view my usage too. I dont know the actual bill amount. So end up paying advance money to avoid eb disconnection. I have sent mails but no response. Eb office too not given any answer reg online issues. What should i do to get regular bills and help in my online payment?

From morning there is no power supply in my house. Even after several complaints through phone, there is no response. Pls help me to solve this issue permanently.

Every day having power cut for 2 to 3 times. Especially during night time

I m living in n. V. N nagar, 11th street thirumangalam annanagar west chennai 600040.in my street for past 1week street lamps are not working full of dark, though there is demolition process is going behind our block but we got stay order in court for demolishing our blocks. We request to arrange street lamps in 11th and 12th streets. Please arrange asap.

Free power supply up to 750 units bimonthly is given to the power loom weavers who are having their own work sheds and own power looms.
But in thiruvallur district, pallipat taluk, podaturpet town panchayat, kancheepuram street (East) & pillaipalayam street there are so many peoples enjoying the free power supply with out power loom.

First by installing power loom, they get free power supply service connections and after a lapse of certain period they sell the power loom and enjoying the free power supply continuously for domestic purpose. Some others keeping the power loom idle, they go for some other jobs and even for government jobs and continuously enjoying free power supply for domestic purpose.

Some government employees are also availing free power supply service connections.

Kindly identify such a service connections in these area (Kancheepuram street – east & pillai palayam street of podaturpet town panchayat) and take necessary action to disconnect the free power supply service connections.

I am residing in guduvanchery mahalakshmi nagar. No [protected]. Last week someone took reading for every other house except ours. I have been paying bills online but i could not find it online too. My aunt went to eb office carrying our card but they hesitated to give proper reason. Please someone should come to take reading thats when i can pay my bills....

I am running the clinic for the last 27 years and there is one junction box in front of the clinic. Now the condition of the junction box is very bad and anything happens to patients visiting the clinic are finding difficult to enter due to the open box with wires hanging on the road. Matter becomes dangerous once rain pours as water logging place it it is based on the road.
I request you to replace the box and make arrangements to raise the level by three feet and safeguard the interests of public. I should not be responsible for any unto ward incident. Kindly do the needful.

It is a store building accommodating four (4) houses.
Supply was not adequate for my connection to put on the motor but other connections in the building have no trouble in putting motor. Only if i put the motor in the early morning at 4.30 am it works.
So, i kindly request you to check my connection.

Next to our house in the ground floor mr. Harish is running a office with 5 to 6 employees for more than two months by paying only the resident electricity charges without paying commercial electricity charges. He is locking his house in the morning hours and running his office illegally & even on night hours work is going on.. A live wire from the main transformer has been tied on our house with the connection for backside and it has nothing to do with our line connection. Live wire has been tied together for about 10 meters for more than six months. Several time complaints has been given to the nearby tneb offices yet no action has been taken place. Please take the necessary action as soon as possible. Thank you for you time.

Even when my credit card bank standard chartered, has confirmed the debit of the receipt payment (Ref number [protected]) of rs 4024 the tneb has said the payment has been failed. They have sent a mail as below. Please help i don't know where is my money now.

We are residing at bharathi street, gangai nagar, kallikuppam, and chennai-600053 which is located in ward no.082 at zone 07.
Please find below the photos of tamilnadu electricity board (Tneb) electrical post at damaged condition.
This electrical post is around 30 years old and condition of the electrical post is very pathetic and it can fall at any time.
We have complained the same to concern zone representatives of tneb (Ambattur) but no action has been taken as of now.
People living in this street are very much scared and it can create a fatal incident any time.
We request you to kindly take immediate action to replace the damaged electrical post.

Again, the trespasser has installed the electrical connection on[protected].03 pm to pump water in unauthorized bore well, lamp and cctv camera in my site with illegal extension of electricity from site no: 8 to my site no: 7 even though already has paid excess charges as penalty already on[protected]. (Photos enclosed). Today we found and witnessed by police on[protected].03 pm. Photos enclosed for your references.
Also, during the night times, the trespasser has connecting the electricity line by simply joining the disconnected lines for pumping the bore well water at night times and disconnecting the wires in day time and covering with teflon tap. They have not removed all the wires in my site no: 7 and bore well electricity line. I have requested to remove all the electricity wires to ad and ae, o & m peelamedu, electricity board office, near navaindia, peelamedu, coimbatore – 641004 on the site itself during the inspection on[protected].15 pm. But there is no action taken so for. So, all the efforts which i have put for this, is simply washed out.
So, again i am begging you to all kindly remove all the electricity wires in my site no: 7 and which are connected to the bore well pump, lamp, cctv camera and bore well pump along electrical connection cables completely. By that, the trespasser should not connect the electricity line permanently in to my site at any point of time hence forth. I have enclosed the site photographs along with peelamedu police officers which witnessed on[protected].03 pm for your references. Thanking you again.

We, the following consumers of electricity belonging to No 53: Kutty Street, Nungambakkam Chennai 34, Electricity Connection Client No 171 011 27 & 171 011 95 requests to inform you that there are low voltage and irregularity in the supply of electricity for 24 hours together in our house. We have been complaining about it since the past 6 months but there is no result. Due to that, we have malfunctioning and repair of our home Refrigerator, Air Conditioner, Water Motor, Computer, and mobile phones etc., low voltage does not permit our home appliances to operate. We are helpless, it puts us into great difficulties.

We, therefore, request you to kindly take early steps ASAP by today in highly URGENT to check this problem. We shall be grateful to you for such help.

I am sundar residing at 518, nethaji nagar, palani - 624601, my tneb consumer number is [protected], and i wish to complain that my meter which was replaced on 12.6.18 is not working again, i have already paid @ rs.350/- for every two months for the past 1 1/2 year, and after replacing the meter the problem still continues and the metering person has again billed rs.350/- for this month, is it my fault? We power cut from today morning 9:00 am (09/10/2018) in ramakrishna puram - mylapore, chennai 600004.

We have contacted electricity board complain number :[protected] and informed, but no response from electricity board. We have also informed the tneb announced whatsapp compliant numbers :+91 [protected] or power failure. No response on this number too.

We have informed below mentioned all electricity board compliant number. But no response received from this numbers till now (Now the time is 11:01 am).

I belong to attur town rajaji colony salem district.in our area power often goes off in the night time for a long time. It happens once in three days frequently.
There is no proper response in the office and i don't know what they do in every month power shut down days.
I kindly request the competent authority to solve the issue as soon as possible.
