My tneb consumer number is [protected]. The electricity meter was somehow damaged and the correct reading could not be taken by the tneb person this month. They said it was my mistake that i did not inform them about the meter damage and the damaged meter has to be replaced. When i asked them how i am supposed to know about meter damage, as they are the ones taking the reading, the person could not give any reply. As for the electricity charges for the months of july and august, i informed them that no electricity was consumed between 05.08.2018 and 02.09.2018 as the room was vacant for 1 whole month. Even then they have somehow updated a bill of rs.3628 stating that i have to pay the average of the last 1 year. However rs.3628 is nowhere near to the average of the bill that i paid for the last 1 year. On what grounds can they charge me for 780 units of electricity consumed? They have simply put the status in the bill as "defective" and they expect me to pay rs.3628 for 1 month consumption alone. Isn't this daylight robbery on their part? Where is the proof for this absurd usage that they have updated? I need this to be resolved immediately.

    For the past two months a man named mr. Mohan comes for meter reading and does not know how to talk to ladies and writes incorrect metre reading and goes always and when when to the ae mr jeevanandam he tries to cover the problem and gives it to the lady and again make the customer to pay for extra units what they don't use due to they stupid faults... When we go there he does not know how to talk to ppl and ladies at all... This is for st thomas mount butt road area...

      My consumer no is[protected]. My eb bill has not been uploaded online till 17.9.18 even after 10 days after the meter reading was taken on 7.9.18. I am a physically challenged person. My mobility is restricted and hence i usually pay my bill online. Inspite of my repeated complaints, the issue has not been resolved. Please upload my bill online for early payment.

        Customer id[protected] we have received the bill amount 5476 and the average short fall amount is 1940 therefore the total amount to be paid is 7416 which is totally unfair. Kindly take a action and reduce the short fall amount as soon as possible... We are so depressed for the past few days because of this average short fall. Please take immediate action regarding the average short fall.

          I am living in kothari lane nungambakkam and whenever it rains we are facing power cut. Everytime there is a fault and it’s not repaired until morning. What’s the use of living in such a good area and facing this kind of issue and the eb person doesn’t even respond properly, always making excuses and not giving the proper response and very rude on phone.

            My house is related to anakaputhur eb. Everytime when we call to complaint about power cut mostly in the night times they say will do and disconnect the call and keep their number out of reach.. They are not taking consumer complaints seriously. So raising this complaint in behalf hope you take this concern and take right action. Everytime this happens in regular basis. Hope u take this seriously and resolve it. We respect your profession and raise complaint so do the needful asap. Eb members looking out only for their comfortablity not consumer satisfaction. So pls look into it

              I am from kandigai unihomes. Daily facing the power cut whole night for past continuous 4 days. Kandigai team is not taking necessary action. Kindly consider my request daily we can't go to the office without sleep try to understand here we are having small kids also. Daily powercut whole night it's not fair.                 My service no.[protected]. I am palanichamy. I have a commercial line. Power supply from transformer, interupted frequently twic in a day for more than 3 months. Local line inspectors corrected the line. But frequently interupt. What is the problem. Two times transformer box replaced within the 6 months. Please do the needfull.
                It is an village area. My service is used for wedding hall. Nearby all connections are agri line. I am having frequent power consumption problems. If any problem occurs in my service i make a call to the concerned person like my eb lineman, eb boremen, inspector and ae. As soon as i make a call they do their needful to me. But my problem is solved only for that prescribed time after sometime again the same problem occurs.
                All higher authorities visited my wedding hall to overcome the problem and they said all my eb line is correctly connected. Eb has given me the service (17 kilo watt) directly from the transformer itself, bcoz the transformer is situated in my place only.
                Meanwhile they have seen the repair in the transformer box before 3months and they fixed it, but again and again the problem persists to my service. Jumper is also new one.
                As i said already it is an agri line, so all line comes under trees and their branches also distrub the eb line, eb persons use to cut the branches which distrub the service line at times, but some may be not. That problem also occurs in our area.
                So i request you to follow my complaint and do your needful to me as soon as

                  2 eb connections used by a single house to reduce electricity charges

                  We notice resident of the below mentioned address, have merged two flats into one single flat but the eb cards utilized is two to bring down the electricity consumption. The flat is not rented and only one single family resides. But the eb cards that they hold is two. Is it valid? I find the said practice unlawful. If it is invalid, please take appropriate action.

                  We had a power cut from 8pm due to heavy rain at 11.45pm the opposite street people got current so we called en office but they are casually saying morning only current will come then why night shift staffs are there. I don't know why this government are like this. We are also people's without current whether they can sleep for an half an hour we had small babies too that too below one yr.

                      Sub : no intimation about bill information nor about energy meter removing regarding consumer number:[protected] regarding.

                      I have one more meter consumer number:[protected] for which i am paying bill promotly as soon as i recieve sms. For that meter also they come for disconnection and also to remove the meter if the bill is not paid the same day which was done.. At that time also they did not intimate about the payment for the above meter. But later they removed the above meter with out informing, which i came to know later. When i enquired about this meter with je. He told me that you have not paid bill for last 4 years hence removed. I told him that my bill was not excepted and stating no reading, for more than 4 to 5 times. And for all these years no bill is produced from 2014 till to day. Please let me know with out reading with out bill how can i pay the bill. And how can they remove the meter when i am the owner of the meter with out informing me.                         Power failure to 5-6 houses in vellala street, ayanavaram since 11 am, sep 11th. I am a resident of old no: 121 and have called helpline to raise more than 25 complaints. Tried calling icf ae, got no response. Tneb staff, checked the junction box, did nothing to fix fault. The box is left open and they asked us to watch children to not touch it.

                        Are you so irresponsible to let the box open and dangerous?
                        Why are you getting paid to not do your job? Who the # is accountable?

                          Hello,
                          I Have received the following email from TNEB regarding my payment
                          and its been almost 12 days and I have not received the money back

                          "Your below Payment made towards TANGEDCO has been rolled back due to discrepancy in
                          Bank Statement:
                          Service No:[protected] Transaction Dt: 21-AUG-18
                          Transaction No:[protected] Receipt No:PGNHDF8232768 Amount:6928
                          Contact the Bank for further clarification.Kindly pay your bill to avoid disconnection"

                          I raised an complaint about the same at my bank and the bank confirms that the payment has been made from their end. If you are going to deny the same I would need an "merchant confirmation of non-receipt of funds" for the same so that I can talk to my bank about it.

                          I had to pay extra 100 rupees for a payment that TNEB has failed from their end.

                            For the sc. No.[protected] in the name of gm, bsnl, chennai telephones. For the bill dated 23.4.18 load has been wrongly charged as 98kw instead of 7.35kw. The same has been confirmed by ae/tneb/pallikaranai vide letter no. D109/18.
                            Till date md has not been changed. And for the current period no bill has been raised till date it is requested to raise the current bill by giving sufficient time for due date with out belated charges in the reduced demand please.

                              This to inform you that my energy meter is missing from 01/03/2018. When i enquired about this meter in sadras office i was told i have not paid the payment, i have not been informed about non payment even though i had been to office for payment of bill. I was told no nil payment. My energy meter is disconnected on19/09/2019 as there was no tenant i also did not take care about the connection. But in between i had gone to sadras to enquire about the payment which they decline to take payment stating nill reading is nil. Sir if tomarrow some body remove the meter whom should i blame.                                     I reside at no.32b, ishwaryam nagar, kundrathur, chennai - 69. We are facing frequent random power cuts as well as very low voltage problems throughout the day, especially at nights it's difficult for us to sleep due to heavy low voltage issue. Inspite of repeated complaints to the electricity board, they are not rectifying the problem. This problem mainly occurs in our street alone since we don't have any separate transformer. Kindly help us out.

                                      Every time of bill cycle we get eb bill maximum of rs.1500. The bill amount was lesser than rs.1500. But this time we get around rs.7000 as eb bill. This is very high and we don't have use much also. We do not have ac also. Suddenly the meeter reading is going very high. After taking reading from tneb, the meeter value is increased by 15 units every day.
