Yester day was power shut down for maintenance at this area, the technical staff were informed regarding this in person but nobody cares about this. Please arrange to set right the problem and save unnecessary wastage of power

    Sub : no intimation about bill information nor about energy meter removing regarding consumer number:[protected] regarding.

    I have one more meter consumer number:[protected] for which i am paying bill promotly as soon as i recieve sms. For that meter also they come for disconnection and also to remove the meter if the bill is not paid the same day which was done.. At that time also they did not intimate about the payment for the above meter. But later they removed the above meter with out informing, which i came to know later. When i enquired about this meter with je. He told me that you have not paid bill for last 4 years hence removed. I told him that my bill was not excepted and stating no reading, for more than 4 to 5 times. And for all these years no bill is produced from 2014 till to day. Please let me know with out reading with out bill how can i pay the bill. And how can they remove the meter when i am the owner of the meter with out informing me.       Power failure to 5-6 houses in vellala street, ayanavaram since 11 am, sep 11th. I am a resident of old no: 121 and have called helpline to raise more than 25 complaints. Tried calling icf ae, got no response. Tneb staff, checked the junction box, did nothing to fix fault. The box is left open and they asked us to watch children to not touch it.

      Are you so irresponsible to let the box open and dangerous?
      Why are you getting paid to not do your job? Who the # is accountable?

        Hello,
        I Have received the following email from TNEB regarding my payment
        and its been almost 12 days and I have not received the money back

        "Your below Payment made towards TANGEDCO has been rolled back due to discrepancy in
        Bank Statement:
        Service No:[protected] Transaction Dt: 21-AUG-18
        Transaction No:[protected] Receipt No:PGNHDF8232768 Amount:6928
        Contact the Bank for further clarification.Kindly pay your bill to avoid disconnection"

        I raised an complaint about the same at my bank and the bank confirms that the payment has been made from their end. If you are going to deny the same I would need an "merchant confirmation of non-receipt of funds" for the same so that I can talk to my bank about it.

        I had to pay extra 100 rupees for a payment that TNEB has failed from their end.

          For the sc. No.[protected] in the name of gm, bsnl, chennai telephones. For the bill dated 23.4.18 load has been wrongly charged as 98kw instead of 7.35kw. The same has been confirmed by ae/tneb/pallikaranai vide letter no. D109/18.
          Till date md has not been changed. And for the current period no bill has been raised till date it is requested to raise the current bill by giving sufficient time for due date with out belated charges in the reduced demand please.

            This to inform you that my energy meter is missing from 01/03/2018. When i enquired about this meter in sadras office i was told i have not paid the payment, i have not been informed about non payment even though i had been to office for payment of bill. I was told no nil payment. My energy meter is disconnected on19/09/2019 as there was no tenant i also did not take care about the connection. But in between i had gone to sadras to enquire about the payment which they decline to take payment stating nill reading is nil. Sir if tomarrow some body remove the meter whom should i blame.               A power post and lines are almost touching our balcony which is potentially very dangerous as anyone including kids could easily touch accidentally. We have reported it several times to take necessary actions but no action taken so far.

                I just want to complaint about a person. His name is durai. He is behaving very worst. He is not a govt employee. He is staying in tneb office west mambalam but he is using very bad language againts all who is coming to eb office. How can a person can stay in eb office as he is not a govt employee. Kindly take necessary action against him to avoid any issues.

                  Sir,
                  I reside at no.32b, ishwaryam nagar, kundrathur, chennai - 69. We are facing frequent random power cuts as well as very low voltage problems throughout the day, especially at nights it's difficult for us to sleep due to heavy low voltage issue. Inspite of repeated complaints to the electricity board, they are not rectifying the problem. This problem mainly occurs in our street alone since we don't have any separate transformer. Kindly help us out.

                    Every time of bill cycle we get eb bill maximum of rs.1500. The bill amount was lesser than rs.1500. But this time we get around rs.7000 as eb bill. This is very high and we don't have use much also. We do not have ac also. Suddenly the meeter reading is going very high. After taking reading from tneb, the meeter value is increased by 15 units every day.

                        Since yesterday night, there is a high voltage fluctuations in the colony. When we called tneb, they mentioned that someone will come and there is no update post that. The location is race view colony, guindy in chennai. Kindly request help here as we are not able to use any equipment. The complete colony is impacted due to this voltage fluctuation here

                          Our consumer no. Is [protected]. We have three phase connection. But the first phase is not working since more than a month. We fear that electronic items would be spoiled. I was told that if i am routing the first phase connected electrical items through second or third phase, there is a chance for spoiling of electrical appliances being used in our house.                             Thanks for your best service. Always i used to receive my bills 03rd of every bi-month from your respective department on mail/message. Previous month and this month my bill recd on 07th. So, my bill amount is too much amount (500 units slaps crossed) for 508 & 510 units due to late entry and processing. Since, your department mistake. I am facing burden as a single consumer (No rental portion).

                            Kindly i request you to revise my bill amount within 500 units and avoid my extra bill amount or adjust my amount in my next bill and acknowledge.

                            Note: (Last bill time also we went out of station 5 days and this time also we absent in our house 3 days)

                              My service no is[protected] name: p nagaraj residing at no. 6 kandan kollai, tirur post, tiruvallur dist - 602025. As per my eb meter reading i have consumed only 480 units during the month of july & august 2018. But the bill is raised for 600 units based on the last month consumption. This is incorrect. Why i should pay for extra 120 units which i have not consumed. This is costing me dearly for no fault of mine. The tariff changes when the reading crosses 500 units.in this case i am over charged and losing more money if i pay now. Please issue amendment to the meter reading immediately.

                                Sir, i have made several complaints about the same problem so far, but still it is not resolved. I am living in nilamangai nagar, adambakkam. Of late, again, there is frequent unannounced power cut in our area, especially at night and low voltage. Once power failure occurs it is not rectified immediately. This problem is there for the past several years and has surfaced again. Due to this students are not able to study and people are not able to do household work or sleep. I request action to be taken immediately such that this problem does not occur frequently unless due to major unexpected problem.

                                  Ever since the new digital eb meter[protected] has been installed we are noticing excess billing compared to any time before ever. As retired people it is beyond affordability to pay huge percentage to just eb from our pension. There is something seriously wrong and needs to be checked and if required meter to be changed. This time the bill is rs 9000+. Previous complaints to eb have gone unnoticed. Ours is an individual residence and we have only 1 air conditioner which has also not be working lately. This is leaving a big hole in our pockets. Would appreciate if things can be checked and corrective action taken asap. Thanking you and anticipating quickest addressable to this complaint.

                                    My board number : [protected]. We gave a complint for excess bill amount. We dont have freezer, fan, electrical stove, geyser, weekly once only using washing machine. Not using iron box self.
                                    We are sing 40v tublight only 3no. One tv and this unit cost coming above rs.500. Already govt. Giving 100 units free.. How its possible. I given compliant on 15/07/2017.. But still this issue not rectified. But they closed the complaints. I given written complaints also.. Till they not taken any action. Next im moving to consumer court.

                                        Sirs,

                                        The meter reading in respect of electricity service connections no.[protected] and[protected] were uploaded today by seeing on online. The meter reading in respect of service connection no.280 is shown as 13030 as per the meter reading taken on 18.8.18. The used units 1540 and the charge is as rs.8644 in the column status it is shown as `door lock.`. The due date of payment is 7.9.18. As per online showing, as on 13.6.18, the meter reading is 13030, used unit is 1540 and the amount is rs.8644. That means it may be presumed that no unit is consumed and the amount is nil. The meter is fixed outside the house safely and the staff can open the door and find out the details. But simply said that as door lock. if the staff who came for taking meter reading on 18.8.18 can easily find out the details. I feel just they have uploaded the same meter reading taken on 13.6.18 again on 18.818 as per on line details. If the staff actually taken the meter reading in august, i need not pay the same amount of rs. 8644 and it may be lesser only. When the staff comes for meter reading again after two months, he will calculate
                                        The amount between the meter reading as on 13.6.18 and as on date of next reading that is four months reading and the charges also heavy accordingly.

                                        Like wise the same was happened to the meter connection no.[protected].in this case the meter reading as on 18.8.18 and 13.6.18 are same. The reading is 5520, used unit 290 and amount is 500 on both dates as per on line details in status column shown as `door lock`.. Both meters are fixed in the same place cove
                                        Red safely and can be easily seen by the staff.

                                        So i request your good offices please look into these two cases and modify the actual amount of payment to be made. We are regularly paying the charges in time. The due date is 7.9.18. I am expecting a favourable reply for immediate payment in the due date.
