Dear sir,

I am living at flat no:b3/3, ranganathan flats, sarawathipuram first street, chrompet, chennai-44.
We having power fluctuation for past 5 years and still it was not rectified.. We are getting power connection from industrial transformer and it leads lot of fluctuations issue.
I had given several complaints to eb and still there is no action has been taken from thier end... Pl inform respective ae to take immediate action.

    I am radha nagar kamaraj street chrompet. Chennai. We are facing voltage. Fluctuations for the last three years. I have complained several times. But no action were taken. Seriously voltage fluctuations is like anything.. Going down all of a sudden comming up. It may cause serious fire accident if it continues. Please officers
    . Kindly take a step to resolve this issue. Don't wait until a big miss happy happens.

      I a person living in veerapandi privu, coimbatore, tamil nadu under the gudalur:2 the voltages are very low and due to low voltage my appliances has destroyed and this voltage is slowly killing all my electric device and the voltage in morning is of 170-180 and during evening the voltage is of 150-169 some time it goes to 130 and we have changed around 3 motor in a short period and due to this the old type lights are getting struggled to get start and ups and batteries gets damaged and total performance of the appliances has been reduced half due to voltage drop

        Hi team,
        Our street is facing frequent power cut for every ten minutes during night time.
        And there is no proper instant power supply during night time.

        This is happening for us since electricity cable has been layed under ground,

        This is to bring your notice that this is happening for past one year.

        Even we do regular call to eb office there is no proper response taken fromthere side.

        So requesting your team to provide a immediate solution for this at the earliest since its been a summer time and tempearture is more than 30 degree.

          We have eb connection no[protected] name of s. Punithavathy. Now giving this house for rent godown purpose. So we want change our tariff plan to domestic to commercial. Already we submit formal application and letter to concern ae. Already some body came and supervised the same. But so for that tariff not change to us. Please do the needful to change the tariff plan.

          Note: am paying commercial rate for past 4 year

            We are from george town, venkatesa naicken street past 2 days we don’t have power and no proper response from tneb. Kumarasan (Ae) not even answering the call ‭+[protected]‬
            Line man haridas ‭+[protected]‬ says that he need 50 meters wire, ae not providing it such a shame to say no wire in tneb.
            Total street is standing outside with there kids and due to no power past 2 days we don’t have water.

            Sub : Shifting and Realignment of Electrical Poles in our Layout and Regaulating the Lines - Regarding
            (Sri Sai Golden Homes - Athur, Vadapathy, Athur Post, Chengalpattu - 603 101.

            With Reference to the above subject we have already Submitted DD for Rs.2, 76, 470/- Vide DD No.196855 dated 01.12.2017 Axis Bank, Nanganallur Branch, Chennai - 600 061, towards the cost of shifting and realignment of Electrical Poles. In this Regard we have many times Approached with Athur ADan AE regarding the above subject.

            We have Constructed houses and undergoing construction in this Layout and EB Line passes through the houses at it is being Dangerous to our Labour working at site. So We have made so many complaints regarding shifting and Realignment of EB wires and Poles.

            In this regard we have 5times reached by person 5times to the EB office at Athur - Chengalpattu and Conveyed this message through Phone calls to concerned AD and AE But Till date no action taken regarding this subject.

            So Kindly take this matter as Emergency and Kindly take necessary action to Remove and Realignment of Poles at our site and do the favour as earlier as possible.

                I am going to complaint about my neighbour whose name is musafar gani.
                He is keeping an electronic repairing shop.
                In their house, always using aircinditioner. I think they use a/c minimum 18 hours per day. By this way we are experiencing power fluctuation problem.                   I paid the bill through online on 2nd apr'18. The first transaction was done through hdfc netbanking with an amount of rs.530 paid; there was a technical issue and the bill did not get paid in the portal but my amount got deducted. The transaction id is[protected].

                  So i did the transaction the second time on the same day thru hdfc netbanking with the same amount and this time it got paid. Receipt no for this transaction is pgnhdf7554828.

                    I am new to chennai and i reside at choolaimedu. My owners house has old meter and not the digital one. When i asked him about the power bill he says we do not get the bill as they are old meters. He demands me to pay rs 7/- per unit without having the bill. I find him to be fishy. Can you help me on this asap. If he is literally looting me. What's is the way that i can fix it? Is their a way i can raise a complaint against him and see to it that he does not demand for more. Please help me i this regards.

                    On 3rd April, 2018 against EB consumer number [protected] in the name of S. Uma Shankar the bill amount of Rs.463/- (for the last 2 months) has been paid through IDBI internet. The bank statement shows that this amount of Rs.463/- is debited on 3rd April, 2018 whereas the TNEB portal shows the bill. Please confirm.

                        Regarding the street post,.
                        The old post is in very dangerous stage (Last one) end of the street.
                        They have fixed a new post last year and the connection has not been given yet.
                        It's just standing nearby but the connection is still with the older one.

                        Old post is very shaky and the iron rods are clearly visible and many times i have felt shock by touching it accidentally.

                        Also request you to cut the trees in our street. Drumstick trees and its branches are touching the current line.
                        Just request you to take an action or change before any this happens.

                          Past 3 months, we have been facing problems with the power supply. It has been frequently fluctuating and many times. We needed a permanent solution immediately. Eb department service people has never given a permanent solution on this problem. They wanted to fix something temporarily and sometimes even ask for some tips or bribe.

                          They have given some loop line to some of the shops here from our main supply box due to that there is been a heavy load on the main supply, it frequently getting fluctuated in voltage. 2 phase will be disconnected.

                            Our office is located, in alwarpet, eldams square. Working hours 9 am to 6 pm, only sunday is a holiday. Our eb meter is conveniently placed outside the building only.

                            As they have not taken the reading regularly, (8 months) we were not aware of this, this time a whole sum amount of rs.38335/- plus a penalty clause has been levied on us. Who will bear this exuberant amount?

                            Henceforth in future, we request you to take the reading on a regular basis to avoid anxiety in payment.

                            Please take necessary action on this.

                            Again we are facing the same problem. As they have not taken the meter reading
                            Now an amount of rs.4356/- has been levied on us. It is very difficult for us to pay a lump sum amount like this.

                            Would like to know what is the difficulty in taking the periodic readings in the meter.? Should i mark a copy of this letter to whomsoever you say.

                              I reside at adambakkam, surendra nagar. Today the power went off at 9 pm and it's 12.35 am now, the power is still not on. I tried calling all the eb numbers, including the 24 hr service number, but no response anywhere. Our local eb office phone number i. E. 22604330, doesn't get line connected at all, whenever power goes off. That much of responsibility by the staff members : (Totally vexed with the eb service and their response....

                              This tneb purposefully cutting the power at night very cunningly at 10pm to 1pm in thillai ganganagar area without any guiltiness. We are suffering very badly with kids not even one year. This power off is carried out in a regular basis. We've to struggle with us as of we have made a big sin our life. They won't attend calls if so used to lie like problem with transformer and they are trying to solve it.

                                In addition to the earlier complaint for unannounced power outage, today @ 22:00 hrs in nilamangai nagar, adambakkam, chennai 600088. As usual your eb staff do not attend the calls and keep the telephone down.

                                What is the measure taken to arrest these complaints?
                                Why there is no one to attend the complaints, atleast pick up our calls?
                                Is tneb staff working or not, sundays as well...
                                When the power supply will be resumed today?

                                  We all know indism facing lot of issues regarding electricity power many rural area too much powercut, but chennai main city facing too much power issues in summer its bad india is very well developed country and fully solar capable country still using coal supplies :/
                                  Is it hard to build solar power grid?
                                  Is it hard to implement strict rules?
                                  Is it hard to guide people in right path?
                                  Is it hard to being systematic life with less corruption?
                                  We cannot expect corruption free system

                                    Sir, this is the second complaint i am lodging within a period of 2 days. I am living in nilamangai nagar, adambakkam, chennai. Every year during summer there is always unannounced power cut in our area, while other areas in adambakkam receive uninterrupted power supply, especially during night time after 10 pm. 2 days back there was power cut at 10.15 pm and it was restored around 1.15 am only. The voltage is also very low around 190-195 only. Again today they have cut the powersupply after 10 pm. It is not attended immediately. The eb office keeps the receiver down till the power is restored so that nobody is able to complain. This causes extreme inconvenience to children, aged people, office goers and students who are having exams now. Nobody is able to sleep as the weather is sultry. I request the authorities to intervene and ensure uninterrupted power supply at night and swift action if power cut occurs. Electricity minister says there is no power cut. But here it is contrary.
                                    Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
