We are living in small village with base of agricultural base having more than 500 families around. Due to inactive government every government employee becoming as theft. It's very hard to explain this tneb bribery in our area happening very frequently starting from line man to head officers (Not sure who all are involved) very knowingly. Saying if you need electricity pay me this amount immediately. These govt. Employees intensely making the transformer to fail without doing proper maintenance for past 5 years and started collecting the bribery from local peoples. If some body complains they will make sure not to supply the power connection/service to them on time. For example recently very transparently collecting rs.500 from every family by noting "if you need to change the transformer and get it immediately you have to pay. If not we will be give the changing the transformer based on availability and seniority" due to poor people innocence these government employee doing robberies. It really becoming hard time for survival in our village.

    These people did not give the electricity bill to us, just come on the last date and disconnect the power connection saying that you have not paid the bill.

    For what these people are taking the salary. They do not give the consumed unit, they don't give the bill amount or any other details and just disconnect the power connection. How can we pay the bill? I want strict action against them.

    I’m nearing the due date and I’m unable to pay on the website. Is there some maintenance issue? When will this get resolved? The payment detail on the site does not load at all. Kindly help at the earliest. None of the phone numbers are also being picked.

      As an electricity board it is your responsibility to take the full responsibility for anything that happens regardless to your online website. The website that you have is not secured and is evident to all o[censored]s. The payments that pass through your website could be hacked via any ip addresses and hence the security that has to be provided must be provided to the deserved us.

        Nagercoil, vadiweeswaram, town-3 division is where my house is situated. The home appliances like washing machine and tv in my house is burned due to heavy voltage. The complaint is regarding high voltage of electricity that is spoiled my entire house hold equipments. Je of the division is not looking after such issues. There is a sub station near my house and a heavy voltage line is recently installed after which such issues are persistent. This need to be addressed to concern officials to ensure proper service is provided for the money that we pay.

          After logging in http://www.tnebnet.org with userid and password the website is displaying my consumer number, name and address. But further details are not available when i click account summary. I have also registered a general complaint. But it was not attended to. A telephone call to the eb office also ended up with an understanding that they are not in a position to solve web related issues.
          Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
          Why tneb website not showing bill history online, always services temporarily unavailable . pls I always need bill history do something in your website.
          From 10th March evening our residence in choolaimedu - 600 094 is running in single phase and no response for our several complaints made and till now 13.03.18 15.08 hrs it is not been resolved.
          Each every day tbeb site is down do the needful, The respect officer and minister take necessary action.

          please develop the TNEB Site with good company like TCS, hcl,

            I'm informing this complaint from pichanur. Near chavadi,
            Coimbatore
            It's very difficult to go ahead
            Always power failure mostly in morning before 9am and evening before 9pm.
            Power failures happening 4to 6 times and more in one hour.
            Properly i'm paying current bill then why these problems? It's tneb's responsibility to make sure about the current and its status.
            So please solves this problem.

                Since the beginning of the service, Our EB has been charging us as a Commercial consumer, whereas our Connection is solely for Domestic use.

                So, Kindly change the status quo of the Connection to Domestic Consumer.

For past 4 years we are suffering from very low voltage that even fan is running too slowly even in winter season. We complained so many times in electricity board.                       Tamil nadu electricity board [tneb] — ae exam fees transaction problem


                      On 28/02/2018 i have made online payment on tneb ae exam online payment option. While am trying 1st time i received pending status then i tried once again for payment then it was successful. Received pending on payment status for transaction but rs590 deducted from my account... Now i want revert of my fee which extra amount deducted from my account of rs.590. Is it possible? I want to know from tneb. I mentioned my payment details here. Kindly provide solution for it...

                          There is no power in my street Salaiyar Street, Mandaveli for the past one hour and no one is picking up the landline number for MRC Nagar EB office and customer care number 1912 says Number does not exist. AE is not picking up his mobile phone. What should we do now? This is pathetic!! Looks like we are living in the stone age.

                              Hi sir,
                              While travelling to nedukundaram panjayath (Kattangalathur, kanchiuram) from alappakkam ngo nagar (New perungalathur) in ganthi road. I noticed around 30 street lights are unwanted which is implemented next to or opposite to the high mast tower lights and lot of lights are implemented for personal use (Single switch).
                              Please remove those unwanted street lights.

                                tneb exam fee

                                On 27/02/2018 i have made online payment for tneb ae exam an amount of 590+295 = 885rs for mean and my friend. First bank confirmation status displayed as "pending"and next day bank confirmation status displayed as "refund process started take challan from your account and pay the exam fee in bank". Then i paid my exam fee in bank. Then the bank confirmation status changed to successful. But still now my money is not refunded to my account....

                                I have three phase connection out of 3 phase power supply is only in one phase, complaint lodged with pallavaram electricty office several times for the past three months, but the fault not rectified. Rectified till date.
                                Further the electrical post is in damaged condition may fall at any time which may result in a major mishap as high tension power supply is running.
                                Request made to replace electrical pole several times but the same mot replaced.

                                  I am residing in vettuvapalayam nasiyanur (638107) erode dust.in vettuvapalayam entrance there is transform smoothly running before one month. Power connection was refused at first for a plastic company by eb authoritirs advising for a separate transform since the intake load is heavy. Then after nogitistion it was rectified. After that power connection was tripped often and eb authorities often shutdown the power for maintenance work. Due to tripping (Overload) the house hold electrical goods are damaged. So it is requested to suggest eb authorities of nasiyanur to give power to the company through a separate transformer. Thank you pl.

                                    Dear sirs'

                                    We are writing to you from h2, gateway apartments, 1st avenue road, thiruvanmiyur, chennai - 600041. We includes the flat secretary mr. Nd raja, treasurer - mr. Nadhakumar, president - mr. S murugan on behalf of the 18 houses situated inside the h2 flat premises (Gateway apartments). Our eb lines are managed by the kottivakkam section office.

                                    We would like to bring to your kind attention that the chennai corporation has recently removed the unauthorized encroached shops which were constructed on the sideways of the 1'st avenue road platform.

                                    An aavin milk vendor shop was one among them. He has encroached some amount of space on the platform, where he has been keeping his vapor-compression refrigeration machine (2 nos) and other electrical appliances for so many years. At the first instance, we are surprised to know how he would have obtained a government electricity supply line for these machines to operate, at his platform shop. However, this shop has been demolished by the appropriate department on 05.03.2018. Consequently, the eb supply line has also been terminated by your staff.

                                    However, on 08.03.2018, to the flat residents dismay, the milk vendor returned to set shop, this time even more harrowing, that he tried to set shop inside the housing board flat premises. We are shocked to see how he was able to obtain a eb supply line again to operate his refrigeration machines. At that instance, we have now come to know the milk vendor's motive that he is consistently trying to set a shop on the platform or somewhere else nearer to his previous encroachment.

                                    Subsequently, the flat association has made a request to remove the shop from there. After much confrontation, he complied and removed his shop from there. At this juncture, we are not sure whether the eb line provided for this shop has been completely terminated or not. Hence, we request the tneb office to oversee that this unauthorized eb connection to be rightly closed.

                                    We are also afraid that there could be some open electricity passing wires on the places (On the platform & also inside the flat premises) where he was trying to set his shop. We request tneb office to ensure that no unwanted open electric wires inside and also out of the flat premises (On the platform), since these platform are now used by children and other passerby.

                                    In addition to this, there was a lamp post, just in front of our flat premises. Unfortunately, this lamp post is not glowing for a long time. We request the appropriate authorities to oversee this issue and address the same.

                                    We humbly request the good tneb office and appropriate authorities to do the needful. Thanks.
