Payment made on line thro' State Bank of India o n 01.02.2018. This amount was debited by the Bank on the same date. But I checked the tanged co. side my bill has been shown the amount but not nil. Kindly confirm payment and get the corrections in the above said consumer no.

    2 street light in kakithapuram, 3rd cross street s kolathur is npt working. This creates huge security risk as we hear a lot of theft and strangers walking in the area. At nights the street is completely dark.

    This has been like this for almost a month now. I tried to call tneb but i am unable to speak with. It would be a great help for us

      Sir, my consumer no; 106/034/183 under ae muthilalpet, gt. L had forwarded an application for transfer of tariff from domestic to commercial in the above service on 22/1/2018, but to date there is no response. I'm a senior citizen aged 74 years. I have met all concerned officers in my area to do the needful but there is no response. I am being harassed for unknown reasons. Pls look into my grievance and change the tariff as requested for my business. Asgar ali.

          When the staff came on 26.01.2018 to take the reading it has got struck and the display system is blank. Hence kindly depute your technician/s to replace the same with a working one at an early date.

Today 1/2/2018 a person named sundarrajan working as a line man in tamilnadu electricity board kumbakonam rural area came to my home at 11.30 am for disconnecting my house power supply due to unpaid last month bill at that time he scolding my aged mother with filthy words due to unpaid bill and he said, 'you stupid dogs u wandering me for searching your eb service number for last one week for this disconnection now. If today u paid this bill i never give connection i deliberately delayed to give connection and i give trouble regularly otherwise u never learn this lesson from me. And he tell no one ask me a question about my words i[censored] give complaint to any officer he never pluck my hair ' these are the words used by sundarrajan on his duty time he made unnecessary and mischievous scoldings against my mother she was return home after completing her treatment from past 10 days. She was very much suffered for this incident so please conduct a departmental enquiry and take departmental action against this defaulter and thus render justice

              This month's electricity bill includes a previous bill (5/17) amount which has already been paid and the system is not accepting this month's payment alone (As there is no any any previous dues) i tried paying online and in eb office, i also tried to solve the issue by meeting the officials which was not solved

              Kindly look into it and solve the issue as today (31/1/18) being the last day for paying kindly make necessary arrangements to accept my payments for this month without fine or other charges

                We are the residence from subasree nagar, mugalivakkam, chennai. We are not getting three phase current instead we get only two phase. Ter are about 50 homes affected by this, for more than 10 days. We people keep on complaining about this but the eb people do not seem to mind. The eb person in mugalivakkam office is not responsible at all. He argues like இஷ்டம் இருந்த complain பன்னு இல்லன பொய்டே இரு... Im not sure wheater he has the interest to work or not. We fed up complaining and people started to install change-over for their home. Is the tneb is for the people or for the convinence of the eb employes? Why we people should adjust with power fluctuations n install change-over and inverters? We're paying for the electricity 2 months once right?

                  We are residents of third cross street, chennai, tamilnadu, since 1957.
                  We are having recurrent problem of high voltage fluctuations since long because the underground cabling has not been replaced for several years.
                  Since we are among the early residents of the colony since inception we are attached to alwarpet sub station as against the later entrants who are attached to mylapore station who do not have similar problems as we do.
                  For example since i returned to chennai from mumbai in 2008 i have faced electrical breakdown of automatic phase changers, two three phase electricity meters, running water heater, storage water heater (Both racold), tvs washing machine, thomson color tv, and the latest being godrej fridge and whirlpool ice magic fridge.
                  We have been jointly representing for recabling but our complaints and requests have fallen on deaf years. For the last three days we are suffering from heavy voltage fluctuation and our complaint on 1912 draws a request to send a written complaint which we have already done.
                  More than two years ago when the roads and pavements in the colony were being relaid at a cost of around 7.50lacs for the road and & 7.50 lacs for the pavement each, we represented to the corporation with copies to water and electricity supply authorities not to waste funds but to first of all replace the electric cables and underground drinking water supply pipes. This was not heeded to. We are sending our grievance expecting that the electricity suppliers may at least heed it this time.

                  We are residents of chennai since 1950. For long the electricity board was charging us monthly bills. Later they introduced differential tariffs where we had to pay more if we crossed 100 units per month. Still later they introduced penalty rates for crossing 500 units per month.

                  When one shri b. Vijayaraghavan (Ias) was chairman, tneb he introduced bi-monthly billing due to shortage of collection workers or some other problem.
                  However the ceiling limit of 100 units and 500 units were not increased appropriately since the original rule stating per bill was left intact. Hence we
                  Residents of tamilnadu are suffering due to this injustice perpetrated on us.
                  It is impossibe for any family to exist on just 100 units for two months. And i have faced a situation where just for exceeding 500 units by less than 10 units i have had to pay heavy penalty amount. Even though the next bill showed 480 units there is so system of rewarding by refunding the penalty charges.
                  While working in mumbai we had to pay electricity bills monthly. By introducing the system of bi-monthly bills tneb/tangedco is penalising the ordinary consumer which is unfair and unjust.
                  They should appropriately increase the slab units from 100 to 200 and from 500 to 1000 units per bill. Otherwise a govt concern is profiteering from its hapless consumers. Especially since our complaints due to old cables etc.
                  Are given the go-by. Alternatively, tneb/tangedco can restore monthly billing.

                      I am from kalkurichi. In our village there are many people have their own powerloom. it is good thing but they are not follow their limit. they were switch on their powerloom at 4.00 am and shutdown at 8.30pm sometimes 9.00pm. it will affect some house fuse, newborn babies and power supply. please concess the time limit 6am - 6pm.

                      i am thangaraj my service no [protected] Hereby the mentioned service number units of current was maximum 380 kw units for past months/years but this month the reading was reached up to 980 kw units . it seems fault in current measuring meter. We are not using any high voltage electronic devices in our houses regarding this issue i asked reason to our official staff who takes reading in my house but he is not giving any proper explanation and his way of answering also not good. In this present situation am not able to pay Rs 2986 IN THIS HUGE AMOUNT so hereby i was requesting you take necessary action and make immediate steps to change new electronic meter. Thanking you...

                          I could see that the hostel ask us to pay more money on electric bills. They have fixed meters but even though i could see there is a cheating in bills. Also we are asked to pay bills in a monthly manner, they are getting money based on the units used. I don't know how they are collecting money based on that units.                             Tneb online bill pay website was down, helpline number was not working, no official mail id, no official twitter account, without proper it infrastructure, how can we acheive digital india, this is 2018 remember.

                            People are ready for digital economy, but it was passible only by government support, now im going to pay by cash by going to tneb office by stopping all of my work, and to run motorcycle in hot sun, so pathetic situation

                              Please do the needful on shifting the electric pole which is in middle of the street. We are facing many issues due to the same. People from outside placing garbages and other unwanted waste around the pole and making unhealthy environment. Also many of parking the vehicles near the pole so that the residents in the street are unable to enter inside the street. We also having electicity leakage at times of rain. Please take necessary action asap to shift the pole from our street.

                                Bi-monthly eb meter reading usually being taken by concern eb officials on 12th or 13th of alternative months. But in this month (Jan'18) they took the reading (Not entered in the eb card provided next to meter) only on 18th jan, ie., 5 days more than usual term of 60 days. This leads to the unit consumption 500 units which resulted in high eb charges as per the slab. If the reading was taken on 12th or 13th of jan the consumption would be 500 units, ie., charges would be around rs.1310/- only. Now, since because the reading was taken on 18th jan (After a delay of 5~6 days) the consumption shows as 520 units & due charges to be paid showing as rs.1912/-. Because of tneb's delay in taking the reading how consumer should suffer by paying more charges.

                                  Sir we want to name transfer in my eb connection. All documents are given to office. But they told concern party must come to met me. He is out of station. With out concern party they could not make any name transfer. This is my question sir. Notary public advocate also singed this application. But in your office reffused to name transfer. This is wright or wrong. That all sir.

                                    We have eb connection no [702] name of j, jebin isaac. This house is make new construction house. So we want change our tariff plan to temp supply to domestic. Already we submit formal application and letter to concern ae. Already some body came and supervised the same. But so for that tariff not change to us. Please do the needful to change the tariff plan.
