I tried calling electricity department to complaint about electricity failure in Janakpuri 1st street, Velachery, but the calls were neglected and the electricity was down for rest of the night.
This shows how irresponsible the electricity department is. I called about 7-8 times but both the mobile and the land line were not reachable.
This is utter harassment to common people.
Hope to get some strict action on the concerned engineers and the staff

    Cutting of tree

    Today evening without any prier information tneb personnala removed a tree in front of my home which is 20 feet heigh t and 8 year old tree from base. Before cutting they not even informed us. Tneb has any rules to cut tree from base if its small branch touched line???.. Before going ngt. I would like clarification from tneb.

    Dear sir/ Madam, I am living at pattanoor villlage vanoor taluk villupuram district. We have regular power cut in our area since it is upcoming area and end of Thiruchitrampalam SS. As mentioned it's an outer and border for pondicherry and Tamilnadu area as well near JIPMER Hospital number of people specially pactiants, kids and staff (Ladies) traveling through this area it very deficult for the people so kindly tack a nassary action on this and help us.

      I am mohandass, living in muthupettai post, ramanathapuram district-623523.
      This is regarding street light complaint.
      In our area street lights are not working properly. Responsible person did not care about that. Because of this light problem, lot of working womens are having fear to reach their home at night time. Children also have fear to come out by evening itself. So kindly take action to work street lights properly.

      I am writing to TNEB and residing in Pudumadam village district of Ramanathapuram. In my area street light was demaged and didn't work properly, area is near government hospital of Pudumadam. So the patients are trouble in night time. So could you please resolve this issue at the earliest possible.

        Tree cutting

        We are having big tree in front of our house. Nearly 20 feet long. Some branches of tree touched eb line. While cutting tree by eb department they totally cut the tree from the base without intimating people inside house. When we asked the person who cut, he was not replied any answer properly. Address

        On 24.05.17 power went off by 11.15 pm at shenoy nagar area, chennai. We have been making calls to the toll free number 1912 every one hour or so. Each time they answered power will be resumed by 1/2 hour or 1 hour and we were waiting eagerly. Even at 6 in the morning power was not resumed. I have never seen such irresponsible staffs. They were responding so lightly without understanding the situation and made us wait whole night with their false promises. When i called at 6 in the morning, i got response as they don't know what is the problem and they would escalate it to some higher depts. Even after calling for the whole night they couldn't do anything. As a consumer i need response for my complaint as we have been awake whole night with false belief.

          We are from pycrofts road first street. Today power has gone 6hours before but till it is not resumed. I complaint every half an hour to 1912 but no use. They don't know current info. Every time every executive told we are registered your complaint and we can forward to concern dept. But never know about current situation. We need clear status and also ae contact number.

            i am living from Madurai ya.otthakattai now i am constructed new small house in Rajakambeeram area temporary service taken at jan -17 first payment details are reading at 80(16/03/17)RS=2124 Again second payment at 140(17/05/17) RS=3256 +2990+75+50=6371 demand 2.77 KW

            The RS = 3256 amount are unit cost its OK but another amount RS=2990

              Hi,

              I am residing in 1st street, Sairam Aveneue, Valasaravakkam, Chennai -600087.
              Several times I have raised this below complaint in 1912 and no response:
              For more than 3 weeks in my area only one phase is working out of 3 phases. In one of my neighbours residence, washing machine got repaired due to this issue. Also we are facing voltage fluctuation often due to this issue. Please address this issue As soon as possible before it is getting worser.

                Sir, we from zamin uthukuli, Pollachi are in very much frustrated due to very poor services by tneb staffs. Power cut happens very often without proper reasons. We feel that the staffs here are not capable of preventing the power cut problem. We beg you to change the entire team working here and make arrangements for giving us continuous power supply. For example in 10 days only 2 days power cut happens saying rain as a reason but other days they itself don't know what to say

Current supply gone at 9.45pm, now the time is 11.30, till now we don't get power supply, due to this everyone are suffering, particularly aged people and children. Concerned area AE and AD are not even responding to our calls.I have raised the complint to Central breakdown, my complaint number is 94.                     Dear sir,
                    We have applied (Eb) commercial service (Connection) for our bore well in agriculture land. And we have submitted all required documents on april 2017. But the problem is electrical department people is collecting extra money (Corruption) for providing the electrical connection. Electrical department officers asking rs 30000 for each commercial connection. If we not provide the money they will delay like anything (More than 2 years). My kind request you to take necessary action on this. We have struggled lot on this. We have invested more than 2 lakhs on in this bore well. But because of power problem we are unable to use it the bore well.
                    Note: this corruption is happing for each new connection. People no one is complaining because of the fear.

                      This is mahendran m residing at plot no 19, pioneer estate phase 3, palakkad road pollachi coming under zamin uthukuli panchayat, muthur pollachi. My service no is 391-008sc1094. We have lot of problem with eb supply. Every day there is a power cut and no proper response from eb officials and line man of that area. We have purchased dtp approved sites and constructed home but due to acute power cut of eb we are facing many problems. This is not only problem of my home but also all the nearest residence. Now also we have a power cut of 48 hours since from saturday (20/05/2017) evening to monday (22/05/2017) morning. Yes we do aggree that due to rain some power cut was there but our area has no current supply for last 48 hours and there was a no proper reply from eb officials and line man. It has become our daily problem. So kindly look into the matter and take appropriate steps to regularise the power supply to us and kindly advice the line man (Mr murugan) of that area to give a proper service to us.

                      I trying to reach EB office but they didn't pick the call, and some phone number also wrong.even they can't pick our calls how they can rectify the problems? Please do needful . in our area have fluctuation problems and too low voltage. The eb employees are not responsive.

                          I have already complained to the eb office every day powercut the past one month.. Can't explain in words, already our line person comes and says there is a cable fault in our street and leaves with no proper recovery of cables..                           This is regarding connection number 149:031:5. On 20th March 2017 we were informed by meter reading agent that our meter is broken and need the change.

                          Since we wanted to make it official, gave the written complaint on 25.04.2017 telling them that we are ready to bear the charges thereon.

                          Been almost a month but haven't heard from them though been going almost every alternative days to ask the status.

                          can it be rectify in near future. Is their any ratelist or charges including fixed bakshish to do the needful.

                          the basic problem is they want the money 3500 without giving the bill. why should we pay it.
                          We are in redhills, M.A.Nagar area
                          Last 3 days we cant sleep at night properly..
                          Daily the power has been cut upto 2 to 3 hours at midnight time hence our peoples are in trouble

                            This is with reference to mha 1891. Tneb.. There are lot of manipulation on this region. Bill amount not paid but thy dont disconnect but keep charging. Dc. Rc charges. For 5 month bill not paid but thy have collected only last month bill n left the tenant. After thy vacated thy are billing together in next month. Because thy did this even concession charges has been not provided together thy are billing for 750 units. If we ask thy are saying it is system error

                              Eb office thondamuthur, coimbatore - not picking up the phone

                              Thondamuthur eb office phone number :[protected], not picking picking when we have issue in power supply now at 19/05/2017 from 3 pm. Transform no:ss5. The power supply gets cut many times. What do we do when we are in need of power supply at night times? We want this to be analysed and resolved before anything goes wrong. We need the action to be taken asap as we live in farms and it is a matter of security issues for us when we loose...
