Sir, we from zamin uthukuli, Pollachi are in very much frustrated due to very poor services by tneb staffs. Power cut happens very often without proper reasons. We feel that the staffs here are not capable of preventing the power cut problem. We beg you to change the entire team working here and make arrangements for giving us continuous power supply. For example in 10 days only 2 days power cut happens saying rain as a reason but other days they itself don't know what to say

    Hi sir, my name is Murugappan, residing in Ekkattuthangal, visalakshi nagar. Current supply gone at 9.45pm, now the time is 11.30, till now we don't get power supply, due to this everyone are suffering, particularly aged people and children. Concerned area AE and AD are not even responding to our calls.I have raised the complint to Central breakdown, my complaint number is 94. For the past one month we are having regular power supply cut, please take action on this, my ph no [protected], am an retired TNEB employee, revenue supervisor, AESU office bearer in Chennai.

      Dear sir,
      We have applied (Eb) commercial service (Connection) for our bore well in agriculture land. And we have submitted all required documents on april 2017. But the problem is electrical department people is collecting extra money (Corruption) for providing the electrical connection. Electrical department officers asking rs 30000 for each commercial connection. If we not provide the money they will delay like anything (More than 2 years). My kind request you to take necessary action on this. We have struggled lot on this. We have invested more than 2 lakhs on in this bore well. But because of power problem we are unable to use it the bore well.
      Note: this corruption is happing for each new connection. People no one is complaining because of the fear.

        Dear sir

        My service no: 391008sc1094

        This is mahendran m residing at plot no 19, pioneer estate phase 3, palakkad road pollachi coming under zamin uthukuli panchayat, muthur pollachi. My service no is 391-008sc1094. We have lot of problem with eb supply. Every day there is a power cut and no proper response from eb officials and line man of that area. We have purchased dtp approved sites and constructed home but due to acute power cut of eb we are facing many problems. This is not only problem of my home but also all the nearest residence. Now also we have a power cut of 48 hours since from saturday (20/05/2017) evening to monday (22/05/2017) morning. Yes we do aggree that due to rain some power cut was there but our area has no current supply for last 48 hours and there was a no proper reply from eb officials and line man. It has become our daily problem. So kindly look into the matter and take appropriate steps to regularise the power supply to us and kindly advice the line man (Mr murugan) of that area to give a proper service to us.

        I trying to reach EB office but they didn't pick the call, and some phone number also wrong.even they can't pick our calls how they can rectify the problems? Please do needful . in our area have fluctuation problems and too low voltage. The eb employees are not responsive.

          Loose connection

          Due to nutrel cut at the street post motor in the water sump not working. Kindly depute Wiseman to attend to the compliant.
          All other ale.items are working. We tried with local electrical who has confirmed the above problem.

            Power off

            Respected sir,
            I have already complained to the eb office every day powercut the past one month.. Can't explain in words, already our line person comes and says there is a cable fault in our street and leaves with no proper recovery of cables.. So pls kindly check through my complaint as soon as possible

            This is regarding connection number 149:031:5. On 20th March 2017 we were informed by meter reading agent that our meter is broken and need the change.

            Since we wanted to make it official, gave the written complaint on 25.04.2017 telling them that we are ready to bear the charges thereon.

            Been almost a month but haven't heard from them though been going almost every alternative days to ask the status.

            can it be rectify in near future. Is their any ratelist or charges including fixed bakshish to do the needful.

            the basic problem is they want the money 3500 without giving the bill. why should we pay it.
            We are in redhills, M.A.Nagar area
            Last 3 days we cant sleep at night properly..
            Daily the power has been cut upto 2 to 3 hours at midnight time hence our peoples are in trouble
            Please take an action on this as soon as possible

              This is with reference to mha 1891. Tneb.. There are lot of manipulation on this region. Bill amount not paid but thy dont disconnect but keep charging. Dc. Rc charges. For 5 month bill not paid but thy have collected only last month bill n left the tenant. After thy vacated thy are billing together in next month. Because thy did this even concession charges has been not provided together thy are billing for 750 units. If we ask thy are saying it is system error

                Eb office thondamuthur, coimbatore - not picking up the phone

                Thondamuthur eb office phone number :[protected], not picking picking when we have issue in power supply now at 19/05/2017 from 3 pm. Transform no:ss5. The power supply gets cut many times. What do we do when we are in need of power supply at night times? We want this to be analysed and resolved before anything goes wrong. We need the action to be taken asap as we live in farms and it is a matter of security issues for us when we loose...

                  I am residing in b-1 subbam apartments no.5 iii main road, united india colony kodambakkam along with my aged mother who is 85 years old.

                  I have been paying my eb bills on time without delay until this month.

                  My current bill was due on 16th may and i by oversight i did not make the payment for that and my wife called me up to inform that my eb service has been disconnected without any intimation. I have a security deposit amount of rs. 11400 available in my account and i see that this high handedness of eb authorities is totally not justified during this peak summer time and for a delay of 1 day they have disconnected my facility and after making online payment and arguing with the eb office in kodambakkam i got my connection restored @ 8.00 pm.

                  If there was a medical emergency for my aged mother who is responsible...??

                  Why is the need for a deposit for nearly rs. 12000 when my bill due is less than half the amount and they come and disconnect the power..

                  I would like to have a complete refund of my deposit under these circumstance.

                    Reported for meter not working in last month and meter has been changed in 12th of this month after that only 90 units only runned but for the meter not working of 1 month the reading as set for 1049 units[saying calculated based on 2years bill history] but on past 2years we don’t had a sub meter for the 1st floor now we having a sub meter connection no:[protected]

                    More over we have only one portion two rooms with a fan, fridge and tv, lights how does it will consume 1049 units[for the period of 1month meter struck up]. At the time of new meter change it runned only 44units now 90units = 134 units only but the meter changing person wrongly updated 1049 in billing system. Please check and if needed come and check the residence.

                    Seems the EE came to replace the meter had wrongly added 1049 units in our bill. I raised a complaint in TNEB site had they had put status for it as "Reply given by EE" but no reply had given. Please check the consumption and revert the bill. I have attached the screenshot of consumption history too.

                      Dear sir, i beg you people not to take the power during night time.. Have complained to the concern person but no response.. Why eb persons are so care less.. Everything has its limit.. Children and old people are suffering here.. I can understand, if you wanted to have power cut why don't you do it in the daytime.. Rather why do you kill people in the night time.. If the issue continues it will be thrown light through media..

                      Sir, iam residing in balaji nagar thiruninravur... Here frequent power shut down without any prior information... That too during nights... No body is picking up the call... Very difficult to survive in this hot season without power... Even on may 3rd we faced the same problem we didn't have power for the whole night... Today its over more than 2hours no power...

Why daily power cut...please consider us as humans...what the EB persons doing...no response... For the phone calls ..if you wanted to have power cut daily why don't you do that in the day time...we are also humans Dont fool us...

                        Past six months we have been giving complaints to thiruninravur AE and he is only hatching eggs in his office . We are getting low voltage fluctuations and power cuts. AC is out of the question since we get very low current less than 120 w. Our Tv has gone due to fluctuations and many tube lights as well. Actually there is a slot for transformer here but it has been given out somewhere else. Thiruninravur EB department is waste. Look into this issue and revert to me!!! I[censored]r not capable then we want permission to use stand up stabilizer for the house! I want my equipments to work and not get repaired. I want to know what action was taken for our complaint given. Proof of the AE signing our complaint is attached

                          Hi,

                          I am residing in valasaravakkam, chennai,. One person comes to take electricity usage meter reading every 2 months. He took the reading wrongly and calculated the amount according to that and we paid that amount (Rs.499). Suddenly he has mentioned another amount rs.2295. They cut the electricity and asked us to pay 2295 to give the electricity back. Please look into this.

                          Our tenant was in possession of our house that time but now we have to pay that amount as the eb people cut the supply when we moved into that house. Now we have to bear that bill as punishment.

                            I really don't understand why there is frequently power shut down at venkateshwar nagar, muthapudpet area. From the past 1 week every day we have a power cut during night for whole 3-4 hours even at mid nights. These people in the office not even bother to answer the call. We r not even able to have our dinner in peace of mind. Please rectify the problem and kindly do us a favour. The kids at home are not able to sleep at all. Stop the new sense of power cut during night time let us relax properly. The area people are fed up with this issue. Kindly look into the issue first and short out the problem.

                              I am a resident of kanndasan Nagar belonging to Chennai North of tneb. For the past one week there had been a lot of power cut for nearly 3hrs duration and with only 15mins of power again it cuts off especially during the late night hours resulting in late sleep of children and old people. These has resulted in a huge problem for students studying for their university exams which they can't study and for the kids whom in this hot weather suffer from heat. Please resolve the issue as soon as possible so that people can be doing their work normally without any suffering. Kindly do any maintenance work if present in the early morning so that it welfares the people

                                I'm resident at manikandan nagar extn metro star city. Here every day got power cut without fail particularly during night times they have doing this for 1.30 hrs.                                   I'm staying in metro star city which is located at kundrathur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India there is lot of power cuts all the.time.and especially during the night, because of that kids, elders and orderly people are not able to take proper rest. The people working at EB office keep the phone receiver down and our phone doesn't go to them.. I kindly request someone to address this issue and resolve it at the earliest in high priority.....
