Dear sir
In connection with the below said complaint i lodged online complaint and sent an escalating email to the chairman, tirupur. The email bounce back ( Your message wasn't delivered to [protected]@tnebnet.org because the address couldn't be found. Check for typos or unnecessary spaces and try again.
), where as the the telephone no is connected to fax.(Phone- 0421 – 2470153 ). I dunno how can a consumer reach them.

Dear sir
with ref to the above service no, we paid only payment and approached the concern EB office - 15 velampalayam by person and conveyed the payment details( receipt enclosed in attachment). He is not ready to resolve the issue by demanding something unlawful way. I would like to escalate issue under basic needs and consumer acts,
Pls do the necessary action to resolve the issue asap

    I am residing in b-1 subbam apartments no.5 iii main road, united india colony kodambakkam along with my aged mother who is 85 years old.

    I have been paying my eb bills on time without delay until this month.

    My current bill was due on 16th may and i by oversight i did not make the payment for that and my wife called me up to inform that my eb service has been disconnected without any intimation. I have a security deposit amount of rs. 11400 available in my account and i see that this high handedness of eb authorities is totally not justified during this peak summer time and for a delay of 1 day they have disconnected my facility and after making online payment and arguing with the eb office in kodambakkam i got my connection restored @ 8.00 pm.

    If there was a medical emergency for my aged mother who is responsible...??

    Why is the need for a deposit for nearly rs. 12000 when my bill due is less than half the amount and they come and disconnect the power..

    I would like to have a complete refund of my deposit under these circumstance.

      Reported for meter not working in last month and meter has been changed in 12th of this month after that only 90 units only runned but for the meter not working of 1 month the reading as set for 1049 units[saying calculated based on 2years bill history] but on past 2years we don’t had a sub meter for the 1st floor now we having a sub meter connection no:[protected]

      More over we have only one portion two rooms with a fan, fridge and tv, lights how does it will consume 1049 units[for the period of 1month meter struck up]. At the time of new meter change it runned only 44units now 90units = 134 units only but the meter changing person wrongly updated 1049 in billing system. Please check and if needed come and check the residence.

      Seems the EE came to replace the meter had wrongly added 1049 units in our bill. I raised a complaint in TNEB site had they had put status for it as "Reply given by EE" but no reply had given. Please check the consumption and revert the bill. I have attached the screenshot of consumption history too.

        Dear sir, i beg you people not to take the power during night time.. Have complained to the concern person but no response.. Why eb persons are so care less.. Everything has its limit.. Children and old people are suffering here.. I can understand, if you wanted to have power cut why don't you do it in the daytime.. Rather why do you kill people in the night time.. If the issue continues it will be thrown light through media..

        Sir, iam residing in balaji nagar thiruninravur... Here frequent power shut down without any prior information... That too during nights... No body is picking up the call... Very difficult to survive in this hot season without power... Even on may 3rd we faced the same problem we didn't have power for the whole night... Today its over more than 2hours no power...

        Sir I'm resident of Mullai nagar thiruninravur... Daily power cut at sharp 9:40 p.m ..why what is the problem... Why daily power cut...please consider us as humans...what the EB persons doing...no response... For the phone calls ..if you wanted to have power cut daily why don't you do that in the day time...we are also humans Dont fool us...

          Past six months we have been giving complaints to thiruninravur AE and he is only hatching eggs in his office . We are getting low voltage fluctuations and power cuts. AC is out of the question since we get very low current less than 120 w. Our Tv has gone due to fluctuations and many tube lights as well. Actually there is a slot for transformer here but it has been given out somewhere else. Thiruninravur EB department is waste. Look into this issue and revert to me!!! I[censored]r not capable then we want permission to use stand up stabilizer for the house! I want my equipments to work and not get repaired. I want to know what action was taken for our complaint given. Proof of the AE signing our complaint is attached

            Hi,

            I am residing in valasaravakkam, chennai,. One person comes to take electricity usage meter reading every 2 months. He took the reading wrongly and calculated the amount according to that and we paid that amount (Rs.499). Suddenly he has mentioned another amount rs.2295. They cut the electricity and asked us to pay 2295 to give the electricity back. Please look into this.

            Our tenant was in possession of our house that time but now we have to pay that amount as the eb people cut the supply when we moved into that house. Now we have to bear that bill as punishment.

              I really don't understand why there is frequently power shut down at venkateshwar nagar, muthapudpet area. From the past 1 week every day we have a power cut during night for whole 3-4 hours even at mid nights. These people in the office not even bother to answer the call. We r not even able to have our dinner in peace of mind. Please rectify the problem and kindly do us a favour. The kids at home are not able to sleep at all. Stop the new sense of power cut during night time let us relax properly. The area people are fed up with this issue. Kindly look into the issue first and short out the problem.

                I am a resident of kanndasan Nagar belonging to Chennai North of tneb. For the past one week there had been a lot of power cut for nearly 3hrs duration and with only 15mins of power again it cuts off especially during the late night hours resulting in late sleep of children and old people. These has resulted in a huge problem for students studying for their university exams which they can't study and for the kids whom in this hot weather suffer from heat. Please resolve the issue as soon as possible so that people can be doing their work normally without any suffering. Kindly do any maintenance work if present in the early morning so that it welfares the people

                  I'm resident at manikandan nagar extn metro star city. Here every day got power cut without fail particularly during night times they have doing this for 1.30 hrs. We are request Try to avoid the night maintaince. We can't bear this power cut in nights many of new born babes suffered. And pls guide me where should I move this complaint to the higher officials .

                    I'm staying in metro star city which is located at kundrathur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India there is lot of power cuts all the.time.and especially during the night, because of that kids, elders and orderly people are not able to take proper rest. The people working at EB office keep the phone receiver down and our phone doesn't go to them.. I kindly request someone to address this issue and resolve it at the earliest in high priority.....

                    Customer care numbers always busy. How public can reach. Power cut @ adambakkam shanthi nagar for the past 1 hr without any prior intimation. Trying to reach customer care 1912 n vanumpet numbers all are busy. I think they purposely keep the phone down. Can anyone tell the forum to complaint first that customer care is not reachable. That's why u get poor rating online too...

                      Dear team,
                      This is to inform you that nanganallur 5th main road everyday around 11pm there is no power for minimum half an hour, not only 11pm anytime in a day current gets off and it's happening everyday basis. When we are calling them they are noy responding properly. Don't know the reason why this is happening everyday while we are paying almost 2000 bill every after two months, it's very difficult to stay without the current on this summer season. There are kids, patients at home and they are suffering lot. It's a humble request on behalf of every residents plz take care of this complaint and do the needfull.

                        New 100/old no.54, new street, Mylapore, Chennai 4.

                        We have 3 building house and have 3 phase each building have single phace. In electricity power problem cure 2 phase only but in one line not come due 4 to more hours electric cut many days. We put complaint in 1912. But no use they already said we inform so most of the days we suffer minimum 3 hours electricity cut.

                        Please take action and give permanent solution.

                            I am living above address in past 3 years, my eb metter no try[protected].
                            Every month i am used minimum current and am paid eb bill for rs 50 to 200 rupees average for every month. But suddenly increased the eb reading for past month (24.02.17 to 29.04.17) 700 units, amount of rs 2506.00.
                            But truly i am not used 700 units, appx per day 12 units. The main reason current up and down flow movements of electrons the units will increased or leakages of current and any other area exceatlly i don’t know
                            Pl rectified the current bill problems and metter box and leakages of current.

                              Respected sir,
                              The below complaint raised last month. Still they are not taking any action.

                              We are residing here Annai Sathya Nagar 4th street (near karungaali amman kovil), Vyasarpadi-39. Our area EB box get damaged and we are facing power cut daily. The main thing is only one cable is working other cables got damaged said by AE and LINE man and also EB box is always open. Kids are playing and walking near the EB box. We raised complaint with AE before 8 month, till now no action taken. If power get failure we are calling EB office but they keep the phone switched off. I request you to please accept our request and take immediate action soon.

                                Frequent power cuts in chidambaram at Muthyalanagar.

                                Respected sir/madam,
                                There is frequent power cut occurring in muthiya nagar, chidambaram and no one is responding our phone calls. They are showing their negligence in their work and we are the great sufferer's.
                                At present there is power cut but no one is responding and the whole night we have to struggle. Mosquito bites and other harmful pathogenic organism entering our houses and causing deadly disease.

                                I am working in Andhra bank building, 1st main road, gandhi nagar, Adyar, Chennai-600020. We are suffering without power and phase for past 15 days, they are asking to pay for regular follow up for over loading and no proper response from electricity borad members in Adyar, We are pushing to give bribe and we cant and wont do harm to our country but this has to be solved immediately or else everybody who works in this building will go to press so that this will be sorted out.

                                  Need your help.

                                  I have payed the eb bill of 11657 (Service no: [protected]) rupees to the erode (Lakkapuram) eb office as a person at wed, 10 may 2017 08:53. But unfortunately my son payed the eb bill from tneb online payment of 11657 (Service no: [protected]) rupees through sbi bank online at wed, 10 may 2017 08:54. Amount got detected from online as well.

                                  Is it possible to retrieve the amount? If so, please help me to return the money for my account.
