Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] Complaints & Reviews

I'm an Indian citizen who used to live in Tamilnadu, Thiruvallur district.
Due to previous cyclone and rain effects we were undergone a severe damage.We lost electricity and power supply in all rural areas.But EB employees are not responding and fixing it at appropriate time periods.If the work needs to be get done on time, then every individual home /land occupant need to pay EB employees a certain amount what they demand....

Sir I am from Coimbatore. Frequently I am receiving SMS Alerts from TNEB with the Service number and bill amount.

But I didn't own any property.

Please make necessary actions and let the SMS alert send to the corresponding property owners.

Below are the service number list that I have received in SMS alerts.

Application given before ten days . So I want the proper explanation from your side why this much delay is going on for even temporary connection. When will I get the connection and i am 65 years old senior citizen so I couldn't come for many times to insist of giving the connection its affecting my health.so do the needful as soon as possible....

We have tried to pay our EB Bills ( services no :[protected] through online payment on[protected] but could not possible because unavailability of transaction provision between STATE BANK OF MYSORE and TNEB WEBSITE.So kindly do the needful to have online transaction between SBM AND TNEB to complie the government...

We are in Mannivakkam...In Mannivakkam They giving electricity for certain people...The people diverting the employees to their area...it is avworst action ..Please make note of it that all should able to get current...please its urgent...Manneeshvarar Nagar is not in sight of any employees..always rejecting the area..please urgent..we are sufferring for7days without current..Thank you...

After the cyclone the only affected street In put area Is our street.
All the houses have power except 3 houses In our street.
Please have this looked up at the earliest.

After this vardha cyclone, from Monday to Saturday we (Salamangalam, near Padappai, Kanchipuram) didn't hear any update on the power supply... Still here no one is taking care of fell down trees and eb post ... We don't know when we will get power supply .. Please consider this as a request and work on this issue quickly and provide solution soon.....

I am staying in no5, door no 17, 5th street new colony, adampakkam, chennai-. There is no electricity power supply since 12.12.2016 after vardah cyclone.. The nearby streets got power connection except vv colony street. Its very difficult to go office since my presence at office is most essential. Kindly do the needful to restore back the supply at the earliest please......

My family residing in Anbunagar 2nd Street, Santhosapuram near medavakkam. There is no power since cyclone. Power poles & wires all over our compound. No EB personnel have visited the site yet. No hope of restoration soon. We are struggling with kids even for basic amenities. Already lodged complaint over phone thrice via helpline numbers. No response or action taken so far. Are we not paying the taxes? Very bad management....

At Chromepet, Nehru nagar in Ramachandra road where I live there has been no power since 5 days. Very slow action. There are small babies and kids and we are struggling with basic necessities. Most of the fallen tree removal work was done by residents. Does tneb want to assume that pole, transformer and wiring work will also be done by residents. Areas with ViPS always get priorities. Please restore power soon and on priority....

Since the last one year, i have been trying to pay advance and bill amount payable to tneb through my uco bank rupay debit card. There has been no provision in tneb online payment site.

Today also tried to pay tneb bill amount through online by rupay card. There is no provision for rupay card for payment.

Kindly update rupay card system pl.

I stay in cbi officers colony medavakkam there is no power in our area since from 5days, i have a small kid its been difficult to manage her. The outage is due to cyclone fall of trees, but till now no single tree was removed neither polls and line are repaired. I am not able to understand when they are going to restore power. Now one are taking care since its not popular or not in city region this is not right way to handle situation when...

Has no power since the cyclone storm vardha.
All uprooted trees in our street were removed at our cost and there is no problem for giving power. a. e of pattravakkam is not responding to complaints, and is giving lame excuse. kindly do the needful. my company is the only company in 6th street without power....

Power has not been restored on 7th avenue, ashok nagar chennai (Near sangamam hotel). Its been more than 72 hours that we are without electricity.

Power has been restored in all nearby areas, except this stretch. There are no uprooted trees obstructing power supply and our power cable has been laid underground.

Multiple calls to ae, ee and supdt engineer have gone unanswered. Sms have also not been replied to....

I am raja from tuticorin urban east area. My house is having low voltave problem from 9.12.16, i made acomplaint regarding tbe issue but on 12thh dec a wireman came and without looking the problem simply told inside the house there is a problem. But later it was found by the electrician that nuetral wire from post is having problem. I mafe a second time complaint on 14th dec moring 10 o clock but still now problem not rectified. Pls make...

I'm residing at 5/671, 135th Muthamizh Nagar, Kodungaiyur, Chennai. From May 2016 onward our meter reading is show excess reading like 686 units, 590 units, 890 units it is keep on increasing, we complaint the same in EB Office but no one listening to us and saying that Rs. 1000.00 very common.

We have only 3 tubelights, 2 Fans, 1 Tv and 1 Mixer...

we are living from Mosque street (back), Kovilpadagai, Avadi, Chennai - 62. There is a very damaged lamp post in our street, There are more than 100 people in the street including the children, we request to you that kindly change lamp post tree branches to save living people of this area.

Kindly advise as per govt announced 100 unit free scheme
But 100 units not reduce in my service. Hence i request you to kindly
Waiver 100 unit amount in my coming bill
