Excess units being calculated, for my service no.[protected], for the period 30.04.2016 to 30.06.2016
As per statement - previous reading - 3120
- present reading - 4250
- total assessed unit - 1130
- total amount payable - 6060.50
But, on verifying the meter physically on 04th jul'16, with the doubt, we found that, the present reading is 3600 units (That is 480 units only, as on 04.07.2016). Where as the bill collector from tneb, have wrongly mentioned the consumed unit.
On complaining with them, they are telling me to pay the entire amount (Rs. 6060.50), failing which, my connection will be dis-connected.
Need your intervention, to sort out this issue, since, for the mistake done by tneb person, i can't pay the entire amount.
Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Normally I consume 740 units/2months but now is 2490 units/2months. I do not understand why can not they fix this kind of the problem. Are they qualified people? Are they qualified engineer? I paid 15kINR for this bill.
It is shame.
