The meter box of our home got burned. It all happened without our knowledge.. The issue is may be with the meter box's quality.. They got Rs.2500 from us and said we will get some more money if we need.. I heard this issue has happened in many places.. So the issue is definitely with the meter box which is installed by the EB people.. Kindly consider this issue and help us..

    We reside in thandurai pattabiram, We live in Jayaraman reddy street, we have around 50 housed in the two dead end street, We always get the power fluctuated during the night time no wonder every one use Air cooler, i initially thought this was the problem, we had the main transformers replaced with the another old one and the main cause for the problem is because we have a SAW MILL in our street which is located in the begining of the street, which requires the company line for the electricity but they use the residencial line to run the SAW MILL factory, however we cannot prove it as even they have to run the business. authorities can analyse the scenario and please do the needful, ,
    Note: we have the street light on even in the day time for the past one week we have called up the TNEB several times and every often one lady picks up the call and says that it will be taken care, in our street everyone has tried calling up the SEKKADU TNEB office usign the customer care number and no action was taken. so please do the neeful..

For the past three days (30.04.[protected].05 2016) full day no power in our street we suffered alot sir when we try to call AE he is no responding anything simply scolding us this is not the way to treat us and he is behaving like he is not responsible for that then who can we call us?           Issue in Average Units applied for Defective meter

          In my street there are about 7 to 10 homes power supply has been frequently cuts, each time we used to call EB and they also attending the issue but it was temporary solution, still we facing the power cut problem most often. So please try to solve this issue permanently as soon as possible. Please change the old cables, spares and replace it with new one, this only the solution to solve our street power cut issue. So please do our favor.

              Dear sir,

              Im the resident of pensioners 4th lane, old washermenpet, chennai - 600 021.
              There is frequent disconnection of electricity in 4th lane, we have made several complaints to change the underground cable but of no use. The cable seems to be an old one which has several patches. From 2 months alone we faced some 10 times disconnection that too in night times.

              In our locality only the 4th lane is the problem, all other streets cables are new and working fine with no issues. Also our area masjid is in the same lane but it has 3 phase but some of the residents cannot afford to avail or even they have it might not work for some reason.

              We request you to take necessary action on this with high priority.

                Last two weeks saligramam, statebank colony peoples are very disturbing due to low voltages... Air conditionar is very importance for summer seasons only. But we could not able to use the a/c in this summer.. Because of low voltage.
                Already we complaint to the asst.Engineer of saligramam eb office...
                But no response from him.. He told us like " most of peoples using two or three air conditions how can we help u"...

                Ok no problem.. In this period of month we could not able to pay the full payment of eb bill... How it will possible or not?

                  I cannot go and stand in the que to make the payment, i can only make the payment online, if your server does not work before 26th i cannot make...

                    Hi,

                    We are the residents of rangasamy street, thiruvalluvar nagar, pammal, chennai - 600075.

                    Today,[protected], the first powercut occurred on 2:00 am and was not available till 4:30, until we realize and complaint. Then, they brought the power back and within 15 mins, the power again fails. We need to complaint again to get it recovered around 5:10 and starting from that time, we had around 15 total power cuts till now.

                    Whenever we call the tneb, they are saying that they have informed the section and if we ask the complaint number, they simply disconnect the call. I have not received any complaint number via phone call. Anyhow, i have managed to put around 5 complaints for the overall 15 power cuts, through the tneb complaint number automated response.

                    Even, when the power is regained, the actual complaint is not being closed, so that we are not able to register a complaint again, if it fails. Also, now, the power fluctuation started.

                    Among the 15 powercuts, the power available after recovery for around 13 powercuts remain only 15 mins. Only for the remaining 2, it was more than 2 hours.

                    If this happens continuously, then we have to lose our hard earned money by repairing the electronic equipments only. Also, if you could track the record of timely payment, we people will surely be among it. Even after we pay our bills at the right time, we are not getting quality power and electricity means, then it will be a shame on tneb.

                    Also, the tneb website is down for most of the times and specifically on weekends (Even now). If we raise a complaint online through it, we are not getting any response and most of the complaints are kept open for more than 6 months to 1 year without even responding.

                      There's always been severe voltage fluctuations in porur mangala nagar area, Chennai, and power cuts that last even for 4-5 days.When enquired directly at the local EB office, they do not respond properly and even have the nerve to tell us they have been told to cut the supply by an opposing political party.

                              Frequent power cuts in Chitlapakkam near tambaram sanitorium during nights. During 10.30 PM to 2 AM power cuts happens. EB office number always busy and unreachable. Ladies during nights hours are unable to reach EB office to check the power status. EB officers in this area are not responding properly. Office goers and children's are more affected. Councellers are not responding to this issue. Please take proper action.

                              Frequent power cut issue exists in Chitlapakkam as this is one of the biggest drawbacks in this area. Besides, power will be completely suspended at the time of raining. Not able to reach EB officer to report this issue.. Please take necessary action .

                                I have made a payment of eb bill through internet banking to tangedco on 29/02/2016 for rs.910/- vide ref no.44166099/[protected]. The amount was debited but no receipt has been generated. Again i made the payment for the same amount after few seconds vide ref no.4166679/[protected] and for that i received receipt. The first amount debited has not yet been credited. I am attaching herewith screen shot of the transcation for your reference. Kindly give credit for the same at the earliest.

                                  Hi this is Rajesh. I am a railway employee. Each and everyday 10 minutes power cut, more than 10 times. Today also 2 to 5'o clock no power supply. There is a power shutdown in mid night and noon time without prior information in Asaveerankudikadu, sendurai tk. Ariyalur district. This is irratating us in hot summer. In election time this is negative points towards government. I don't think they have seen this or taking against this any way as a Indian citizen I register my complaint against tneb - Poor management here.

                                    One member home LA meter LA magnite eruku so monthly 100 rs only varuthu so take the complaint because monthly 1 st. Take maginite in meter after the unit check then return applied the magnite on meter so monthly only come 100 rs bill so the complat. And.our home appliances.
