Refusing to accept payment after due date

Recently we moved to Moggappair West, we were not able to make payment on due date. So when we approached the counter at Moggappair West for payment, the person at the counter refused to accept the payment stating that we had to meet the AE who would be coming to office only at a certain time. Does this mean we have to take leave from our office just to meet this AE for making payment? when we tried making through online, we are not...

Dear Officers, first, is this complaint would be taken care ? We are from below address facing no street lights during night and post was totally damaged at bottom, if there is small ventilation also post will fall on our home and sure cause the public(we) damages even death . Since from 2 years we conveyed same to village superiors(they are not caring public hence they called Government officers ) but no action. Is the way they handle the situation?     Respected Sir, I am Rajinikanth([protected]). I have purchased an apartment in Annai Ananiya garden Phase III, Sri Rangam New town, Sakthipuram main road, Ernavoor, WIMCO Opp WIMCO Railway station Chennai-19 from ANNAI BUILDERS REAL estate’s pvt ltd (Corp office: Annai Builders Real estate’s Private limited, Alpha Center, 4 th floor, 150 151, North Usman Road, T.Nagar, Chennai-17.PH:[protected]. Till now, I am not able to get EB connection to my flat. AE, TNEB, Wimco(Asst Engineer, CEDC/NORTH/TNEB, Thiruvottiyur SS, Chennai 19) is refusing to provide EB connection to me and even He is not accepting my EB connection application form. I struggling for more than a year (from now). Mostly, He is threatening me to withdraw the case then only he will provide the EB connection to me. I am not sure under which constitutional guidance he is demanding me. Mostly, if he says that he has to provide EB connection from the problem transformer then He should not give EB connection to all the flats but he has given EB connection to all expect me. I am not sure what to do here. Even, I have represented this issue to Hon’ble CM through CM Cell petition [Petition # 2015/835332/XV, date 15/07/2015, Petition # 2014/788708/RZ, date 03/07/2014]. He is not responding for this as well. Reason behind this problem: The AE, TNEB, Wimco(Asst Engineer, CEDC/NORTH/TNEB, Thiruvottiyur SS, Chennai 19) has erected 440 volts transformer in front of my apartment. It blocking the entrance of my flat. As per the layout plan Entire Street has the entrance in that side only. There are lot of places nearby but the AE has chosen this place by his own will and without getting any guidance from me or the Annai builder. Even, it’s blocking an 14 feet road. Now, this road is not connected to the main road. I have represented objection to the AE directly and submitted the objection letter in hand. The AE didn’t consider my objection letter and started to proceed further. As a next level, I have represented/addressed this earlier in Hon’ble High Court(WP 35297, 2013) and Hon’ble High Court has given direction to remove/swift the transformer. The AE TNEB didn’t consider the court order and completed the transformer work. Once again, I have addressed this issue in Hon’ble High Court(WP 8635, 2014). Hon’ble High Court has sent a summon to the AE, TNEB. This case is still pending from the AE side. Root cause: Actually, this issue is because of the delay which Annai builder did. He didn’t start the construction as planned. Due to this, the AE TNEB is not able to locate a proper place for the Transformer. Even, builder didn’t object the transformer erection. I believe this is due to improper approach of the AE TNEB and He didn’t follow the Electricity constitutional guidance. Because of this, the allocation for this transformer in not added to Sri Rangam New township plan/layout and it made living treat over there. AE TNEB doesn’t have guts to ask the builder for the shifting charges. Instead he is threatening me to withdraw the case, which is injustice.

      I have been paying my tneb bill for Rs.4000 and now all of sudden they are telling me to payRS.14749. I have been going to tneb office from 10days but today finally met AE of our area. When we asked him about all this den is like you pay the bill amount next time it wont happen all this. I told him to check with the meter he told me that all meters are ok. I told him to change he is like we cant change n all you pay your bill and go. I Wont be paying this amount as this is not good idea to pay without knowing the reason.                 New digital meter replacement

                Sir, Few days before we had TNEB employees coming to our house to replace our old meter, but while checking they informed us that the old meter is having a fault as it had electric leak (shock when they touched the old meter). They told us that we have to pay Rs 2500 for replacing this old meter with their new digital meter. Please clarify if I have to pay Rs 2500 to get the same.                 For the past 1 year there are frequent electricity failures in my area (Shanmugarayan Street, Old Washermenpet, Bombay hotel opposite) and it looks like no one is taking steps to address the issue. If the problem still persists for another week I'm taking the issue up to higher grounds for a solution.

                    Sir, The Janakiammal RMU under Kodambakkam division is perilously close to our compound wall. The unit is carelessly handled/maintained by the Board. The surrounding area is never cleaned with lots of plants and creepers climbing upto the top of the posts, inside boxes etc. The boxes and cables are not properly laid with cables exposed and the boxes kept open most of the time. The present condition of the RMU poses grave danger to not only to our house but to lots of public who are using the road throughout. Kindly immediate action may be taken to set right the cables and clean maintenance otf the area around the transformer.

                          such a worst and poor maintenance was done by mangadu eb. every day night suffering without power for at least an hr.. I don know what type of maintenance work is done. even for a small drop of rain fault in eb lines are taking place. Since last week they answerded call regarding power failure. but in this week last two days. they never pick the call[protected]. last night we went to EB office no ones is there. All the fans were switched on. we shouted for 10 min. no one came finally current came by 5.30 am. now I'm registering this complaint by 12.34 am. still I called no answer. plz take a necessary action and relieve us from this trouble. my contact number is [protected].

                              Pl refer to above requests. A wrong entry of Rs 11502/- for 1920 unit was mistakenly posted in my (online) a/c on 8/7 which belongs to consumer no...063. Actually the reading for my a/c was 330 unit which was taken only on 10/7. To reverse that entry I have sent above 3 requests.
