Sir my consumer number is 57201617 of Chennai South region. Recently I have seen a hike in the electricity bill of my apartment even though there are only fans and lights in my apartment which according to me consumes very little electricity. But as seen last time and this time the bill has hiked above 2500 Rs . So I want you to please check our electric power meter and whether there is any electricity theft going on.I have attached the photo proof along with this.

Dear sir, Electric post in my street No.6, Boopathy Nagar, Vivekananda main Road, Kolathur Chennai 600099 is about to fall and the wire is about to touch the compound gate. Its very dangerous and if it falls there is loss of human life and fire accident may occur as houses are very near. We went to TNEB lakshmipuram several times and did complaint with written letter dated 20.03.2011 which I attach to this complaint. So far no one looked into it. Every time we go there the answer is someone will come and have a look. I kindly request to take this complaint as high priority and take action to save life. Thanking you, Srinivasan.

Yes it is being a threat to human life especially for the people who are staying in this locality. It is high time officials taking action immediately and also avoid answering the serious threat posed here.

Dear sir, The problem still remains the same, wires are hanging at touchable about 6feet.
But you are sending a letter that a new post is installed and no threat for life.
How can you send this letter without completing the work sir.
Sir please visit first.I'm attaching a letter which was sent to me saying it is completed though it is not completed.

Sir I Kindly request you to visit first and see if really it is completed.

I received completion letter on 31 august 2015 which can be seen in attached letter as you wrote on 29 august 2015.

we are in lakshmi nagar area in porur. on 6th July there is low voltage fluctuations during night time. even though they cut the power for more than three times the problem was not solved facing mental pressure. even fan is not running. two days back only there was shut down for maintenance. poor service from porur EB. they won't even attend calls. they simply put down the phone. there is no customers service. children's and office goers were very much affected. still no proper supply of power in our area..

Hello, I am from Chennai Madambakkam ALS Nagar, near Kozhipannai. Problem faced for last two months low voltage and fluctuations, it is very bad at night. Two stablizer got damaged. CFL lights tube lights got damaged. Air conditioner not running it is for show purpose as no current. Why should I pay Rs.6.60 per unit when bad quality power supply given by TNEB? Who would pay for damages to my items? TNEB must answer and solve the problem. Stop giving permission for new flats construction, first provide good power supply, build more transformers, generate more power. Bad quality power supply by TNEB is violation of Consumer act! Hope my message reaches the right authority of Tangedco.

I recently moved near Hansa Gardens and I have never seen such a bad EB connectivity in my life. Evening 7-11 is pathetic. Forget AC, even fan is not running properly at night. Poor quality of service from TNEB. Some streamlining should be done in this area.

I'm residing in Govindan Road, West Mambalam which is coming under the control of your Sub station office at K.R.Koil Street, Chennai-33. Ours is a flat system where around 108 family stay in the residential colony. It has been very frequent where the residents of our flats are suffering a lot due to uninformed power cuts especially during night time more particularly after 10.30 pm. And the pitiest part is these power cuts are unscheduled and there is no fixed timeline. Because of which all the people in our flats unable to sleep ontime. Many of them being working people, senior citizens and children are seriously affected. Would request you to kindly intervene in this regard and ensure that no uninformed power cuts occur in the late night. Would appreciate your immediate action in this respect at the earliest. We live in Madambakkam, Parvathy Nagar Main Road. From 10.30 until now there is no power inspire of registering complaint with 1912 & 155533, the line man has not attended in restoring power. Daily more than 5 times they cut the power this has become a routine for the local TNEB staffs and the reason is unknown. Complaints to their offices were never heard. Please do needful.

I am residing at 6th Street, Annai Therasa Nagar, Puzhutivakkam, Chennai-91 We are facing extreme low voltage. Due to low voltage all the electrical and electronic things get spoiled now. 1. Fans are running very slowly 2. Most of the time tube lights are not glow properly 3. Motor is not continuously running 4. Washing machine is not running. If it is low voltage automatically get stopped. 5. Tv stabilizer is spoiled. So changed a new stabilizer. Still tv also not run properly. 6. Fridge only sometime run. Most of the case it should be standby. 7. Due to above problem. We should not switch on AC.

I m a resident of tiruvottriyur raja shanmugam nagar. We are experiencing severe low voltage and current cuts in night. Due to low voltage the ac and fans aren't running in nights . this also leads to increase in current bill. This is happening for years. People are saying most of the current is supplied to industries. I dont know who is going to take any action but one thing is clear, TNEB IS one of the worst department which cannot be questioned by public.

fluctuation of voltage at Mahalakshmi Nagar 5th Street, Madipakkam, Chennai-600091. voltage between 130 voltage and 150 only supplied to this street. particulary at night time even power is too low supplied between 120 and 140 voltage. most of the electrical appliance are not working. Water pumping motors not working properly. Morning hours also the same situation continues immediate attention required. A transformer installed in this area may reduce this problem to a great extent. Hope Tamil Nadu Electricity Board will do the needful at the earliest. thanking you

Dear sir,

I reside in plot no 18 b, gandhi nagar, 3rd street, alwarthirunagar, chennai - 600087. Since yesterday 30th june midnight from 12:00 am till now i.E 4:10 pm there is no electricity in all the three phase. When enquired in other members of the colony we go to know that only in our 3rd street there was no electricity and all the other streets (1st, 2nd, and 4th street) had no power cut. We made so many complaints since morning and till now there is no one from eb office who has come and rectified. We have been facing this problem of frequent power cuts at odd timings and extreme fluctuation every year. But today's situation is extremely bad. We have no water since morning as we couldn't switch the motor.

I would be very grateful if some higher officials looks into this matter and help us from this situation at the earliest.

Past three months they cut the power mandatory. And there is no action taken by the eb officers. At night time my area people's are fully affected by the power cut and Night shift workers are fully affected by the night time power cut.
