    Moovarasampet : Worst EB branch

    We are in kilkattalai sai nagar area have frequent power cur daily. If we call to be office no one picked up calls. If we have call to 1912 they will respond as informed to exchange office. All the time the response of 1912 people is some FAULT. How can be a fault will come again and again if it cleared.     hi On 21/06/2015 power complaint on my main board... Lot of times i called to this number [protected] ( ganaprakasam, rajagopal ) but still now they didn't come.. whatever its i have to pay . even they didn't response me. what can i do for this.. they scold me in vulgar words ...now the time is 22/06/15 8.33pm still didn't come..

      CONSUMER NO:[protected], I am Natharsha S/o.Thambi Marakayar from Madukkur, Thanjavur Dist. We are consuming very minimal Electricity in our Home. But, Last 4 month meter reading was going high and they have charged Rs 4, 000 - 4, 500/- Every 2 month. We have made the complaint to our circle EB office to take necessary steps. But Still Now there is No Response No action taken from the EB Department. Current month charge also came very high. Hence, please ask your Engineers to revise the charges and Change the Meter Kindly sort out the issue as soon as possible. Regards Natharsha [protected]

        My service no is[protected].before leaving Chennai to US, I have paid an advance of Rs 2000 as cc charges to be adjusted against my bill on 2nd May, 2015.I left Chennai on 5th early morning and the meter reading was taken on 6th.i have also given a letter to AE Santhome that I will be away for 7 months.The cc charges for May is Rs 1036, which could have been adjusted against the advance paid as the amount has already been credited to TNEB on 2nd May as per my bank records.I now find that a penalty has been levied for delayed payment and the bill has come to Rs 1105/, Kindly waive the penalty and other charges and adjust only Rs1036 against the advance payment of Rs 2000 which is with you and oblige.

          No proper response from EB complaint number 1912

          Sir am from NGO Colony, Adambakkam, Chennai_6000088. I have raise complaint regarding voltage fluctuation, low voltage and three phase current issues from yesterday night 1pm to today morning 6pm. I called nearly 5 times. But the issues not sorted out and no proper response from the customer care person (1912). Whether the number is applicable for people serving. I have seen such worst response yesterday. Kindly take necessary action...

          Hi am from kanyakumari dist, a customer under arumanai eb office. Everyday we are getting local power cut for 2 hours. when i enquired local line man says " TREE FALLEN ON POST". Eb office says HE DONT KNOW. another Eb office says power SHUT DOWN. another says IF JAYALALITHA AMMA RULES THIS WILL BE IN KK DIST. . . this is exactly cheating replies. . . can you save us from this fools. plz. . .

            This is to inform you that I am the owner of the property as iam one of the legal heirs after my father's demise. Last year I took a commercial connection in my shop at 16/33, begum saheb st, greams road chennai_6, a/c no 131_027_231 in the name of syed mustafa by submitting legal heirs certificate.inspite of fulfilling all the formalities I have been charged as tenant tariff I.e 6times the actual charges.hence kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

              Complaint by: Kumaran Arumukham, Mobile No: [protected], consumer No.[protected] I have 3 phase connection and the connection is in the name of K. PALANIAPPA CHETTY. Six months back in my 3 phase line 2 phase was not receiving. I have informed the line man complaint issued but no response. On 06.06.2015 we also stopped receiving 1 phase and for about 3 days there was no power. After giving a call to the A.E. Flower Bazaar, he sent a line man and he laid a overhead cable. (I bought and gave the cable) on 9.6.2015. Still today I am running with overhead cable supply. On 12.06.2015 I have lodged an online complaint to TNEB complaint no: [protected]. The complaint status “COMPLETE” but it is not completed still today. So I have lodged complaint today 20.06.2015 complaint No. [protected]. Received reply stating “Due to road cut permisson problem temp wire provided”. I am afraid because it is an overhead cable running all the way 30 meters from the post. Nearly about 7 to 8 connection is in the same situation nearby my premises. No EB person ready to hear the situation about 6 months, they are nearly about getting huge-some of money from all the affected persons. Who is going to take the responsibility? 1. If any fire accident happens. 2. If anyone cuts the cable 3. If any short circuit.

                Recently, new meters were installed and to our surprise, the electricity bill this time was accounted 5 to 7 times the norm we have been paying considering the same usage throughout. We were not notified about the meter change and neither the 0 reading of the meter was confirmed while installation. We suspect meter malfunctioning/ incorrect reading to be the cause for this spike in the reading. I have already logged complaints online and seeking resolution of the same but same were closed automatically without any technician visiting our place.                   My cons. No.:[protected] Name: V. MUTHUSAMY, 17-A, PILLAYAR KOIL LANE, VELACHERY, CHENNAI-42. Your TNEB meter was noted defective on last meter reading on 23.5.2015 and in the online portal it is noted on 30.5.2015. Still the meter has to be changed or serviced. My last bill was made not on consumption but on adhoc basis and bill amt is too excess than actual consumption. Please note my previous months consumption. This has to be rectified. Please arrange to rectify the faults and do the needful. Thank you.

                    TNEB - Coimbatore - Luna Nagar - SC No =[protected] in neutral also Phase present, So bulbs are busted. every three months once we face the same complaint. But TNEB - line man comes after 2 days only. During that time we lost 2 to 3 bulb or fan.

                        we are 150 families in Arasangazani village near sithalapakkam. my consumer no. is [protected]. there is inadequate power supply in arasangazani area. there is frequent power cut and voltage fluctuation. electricians said there is a supply of 100 to 150 in day time and 80 to 120 in night hence Acs are not functioning. Fans are also running very slow. Television and light switches off and blinks frequently. i have complained at sithalapakkam tneb office and they directed to Medavakkam office. there was no proper reply from that side.                           Regarding the EB bill for the month of June, 2015. We saw a payment required for Rs.1500 in the first week of June in the TANGEDCO website and we had paid the same. Receipt No PGNHDF2644290 Receipt Date: Mon, 1 June 2015 10:16 Bank Transaction.No: [protected] But again on June 15th we received another bill for Rs.4500. Also the payment for Rs.1500 is now not available in the payment history. We request you to raise a complaint for the same. Please find attachments for payment history details and payment confirmation for Rs.1500.

                            Live wire touching tree branches

                            live EB wire in front of our house is touching the branches thereby spark and short circuit problem arises. Also the EB electric post is very weak and fall any moment.                             There is Peepal tree(arasa maram) on 3rd Cross Street in PTC Quarters, Thoraipakkam, Chennai 97 and the tree branches are over the EB line. Whenever there is wind, the chances of Branches falling over EB lines are at great and it may create spark/cut the line down on the houses near by. Please prune the branches falling over the EB line.                                 The Electricity bill for the months of April and May 2015 is originally Rs.820/-. As per the unit count given in the calculator on the TNEB website, I have used 320 units which amounts upto Rs. 820. An additional charge of Rs. 500 was added as 48100-Cc Deposit. I stay as a tenant and I do not think that this is a fair charge. Can someone please help?
