Respected Sir/ madam In my house(6/161MMDA colony Maduravoyal, Ch-95) my EB meter is not working properly since 2 months i have made complaint in complaint note in my area Maduravoyal EB office on march 5th, then last month also but am unsatisfied since no action has been taken

    wrong meter reading Hello sir/madam I am resident 290a Thirumalai Nagar, 1st main road hasthinapuram main road chrompet-600044, near opp zion school, The person who took the meter reading has noted it down wrongly, instead of highly units he has noted only around low units, april month I used to pay the bill on lost month 3500rs online and the amount displayed was 3000 something and i paid it, this may increase the billing amount on may month next time due to slab rate variation rs 6000k, when i contacted local authorities nobody is responding well and they themselves are not sure on whose responsibilities it is and are just turning me around and have made so many calls regarding this and still i didn't get a proper response, please take a note of this complaint and do the needful so that i do not suffer an increased payment on next billing. it would be appreciated if the person who used to note the reading would come again and note the proper reading .       Fuse Unplugged Without informing

      We are facing power cut during night every day (11:30pm to 1:00am & 1:30am to 3:00 am). We informed to EB department through 1912 last night (26.05.2015 at 12:35am) and one person attend the call and behave very harshly. So kindly look into this issue and clear this as soon as possible.

          Dear Sir/Madam, I live in selaiyur near bharath engineering college (esther garden 1st street). At my home i'm experiencing low voltage all the time and I have made several complaints and there was no action taken and I don't know where to address this issue. I have one of my appliances damaged and had to replace them. Also I have phase 3 connection but no supply is coming in that phase and I'm living with phase 1&2. Kindly request you to rectify this situation. Thanks!

              My flat connection was Disconnected due to non Payment of EB bill. I'm newly coming to the flat. Paid the arrears and Got the connection back. Receipt Number:CBN182AR2S1190 Still I'm unable to register the EB connection thru online as its throwing error of "Connection Not in Live". And My Connection Status is Still "DISCONNECTED". Connection is in the name of Giri Sankar and Number is[protected].

                Sir we are residing at Ranjith Road for the past 11 Years initially when we moved there used to be problem of power cut but resolved and every 3 Years there will be problem of power supply ranging from 3 - 4 Hours sometimes overnight - For the past 15 days there is a Continuous power cut from last Sunday ie from 24th May 2015 we did not get power continuously for more than 1 Hour and every time trips off and get rectified temporarily but again it is the same story when we approached Taramani office they have informed due to the new installation of the Transform Box this is occurring and the concern company to come and solve - Kindly advice and Give us a permanent solution as elderly people and children could not bear the Humidity and being in summer season it is very difficult to managequmi

                  We have been residing in CTO colony, Lakshmipuram, West Tambaram for the last 3 years and facing low voltage and voltage fluctuations at night even though we are having 3 phase connection. I recently purchased one inverter AC to make my family members comfortable and sleep well at night during this summer, Hope every one in our society wants or willing do the same for their family including TNEB employees. But due to this severe voltage fluctuations or low voltage, AC doesn't work at all...We are also human being and wants to manage this summer and safe guard our kids from this horrible summer...But No action has been taken from TNEB regarding this or improving the quality of the service and throwing away the basic needs of people even though they pay the money for the consumption of electricity, this is the only county which doesn't fulfill the needs of the consumers even though they pay for it...Please do the needful as quickly as possible... Be mindful and kindful...

                    We are residing at Ponniamman koil Street Adyar.. For the last 5 to 6 days there is daily power cut after 10..even right now there is no power .electricity board seem to claim that the fuse is getting damaged every single day! Very disappointed! In this peak summer it is very difficult to even manage..

                      Sir, I am residing in eveready colony, kodungaiyur. For the past 10-15 days there is power cut daily, during night especially after 10 PM. This causes enormous hardship to old people, children and office goers, who are not able to sleep. Even after the power supply is restored, the voltage keeps on fluctuating and is very low most of the times such that even fans rotate slowly and air conditioners do not work at all.                         Sir, i am residing in nilamangai nagar, adambakkam. For the past 3-4 days there is power cut daily, during night especially after 10 pm. This causes enormous hardship to old people, children and office goers, who are not able to sleep.                           There is an EB Junction box situated at N.No.52 / O.No.178, Kutchery Road, Mylapore, Chennai-600004. Very close to that there is a tall tree from which often dried shells fall down on and around that EB Junction box causing a great fear and fire threat for the public. So kindly requesting the concerned authority to take immediate action by cutting the branches of that tree and safeguard any kind of fire accident happening.

                            Last 2 months my family has gone to native and no one is in house as we switched off the mains. But the bill has generated as RS 520.The meter reading shows the same as the previous reading 3000.But the EB person shown the meter is defective and put units consumed as 230.                               DearSir, Iam Kamal from coimbatore, EB people came to my Resi to replace my old Analog meter with Digital meter on 14.05.2015. Today the EB people came back again demanding for damage charges for my old meter (which was damaged on the outer cover but in good working condition.). As per Govt Rule the Old Analog meters are not to be used any more and even if I had to complain about the damage caused in the old meter the EB is supposed to replace new meter free of cost. I strongly feel there is some intended fleecing and I need to know If Iam liable.

                                Sir, My Name is Narsimman S/O Vijaya consumer number is [protected] (commercial service) on that old meter (number 3249942) was changed into new one (Meter No: 2178672) on 22/05/2015 without any notification from the concerned department of TNEB of Pudupet region under Tirupattur circle Vellore district. So please tell me what reason to my old meter was changed without any request to change of meter even on well condition.

                                  Dear Sir, I am Rajesh residing at 1st Cross Street Parimalam Nagar, Vinayagapuram, Chennai - 600099 and the Electric Pole which was stood near by house was fallen on 29th April 2015 due to that one of the TNEB employees climbs up the pole to do some repair work and it is yet to be cleared from the site. This is resulting to posing extreme hardship to the pedestrians and motorists passing by this narrow road. So I request you to take appropriate action to clear this pole as soon as possible and help us to have smooth traffic in this area.

                                    Myself Asan, residing at Plot no.2, 1st Avenue, 'A' Sector, Siva Sakthi Nagar, Annanur, Chennai - 600109. I have paid my EB bill amount of Rs. 1060 on 18.03.15 through Axis bank. Transaction was successful but receipt was not generated so i registered a complaint in TANGEDCO website. I have received reply as amount will be refund in minimum 15 days but even after 1 month i dint receive any refund amount. So i again registered a complaint. Instead I received current month bill with last month due and fine amount.

                                      Dear Sir / madam, I am one of the consumer of Tamilnadu Electricity Board. Name is Balachandran. Contact number is [protected]. I have one power connection with Puthanatham EB office in Truchirappalli district, Tamilnadu. 621310. In 20th May 2015 . I was not getting power supply by unknown issues. So I gave complaint in That EB office . And the lineman were came to my home and rectified the issues . Then he asked me Rs .100 for Service Charges . I asked him why are you asking the money for do your duty . He said that you should pay the money whenever you call for this issue. I said I don't give bribe . But he said don't call me without interest to give bribe to me . Corruption is main thing in this office. Please take immediate action .
