D.Jhansu Rani, 51, Cooks Road, Ch -12,[protected] Consumer No.[protected] The department replaced new digital meter with out our presence and not entered the reading in our EB Card and we dont know whether new reading starts at 'Zero' or some other reading and also in the reading ended in the old meter. Our last month consumption is 600 units bi-monthly present month consumption show in online 1605 units bi- monthly However this amount of Rs.9423 and deposit Rs. 600 paid on 02.05.2015 by receiving the SMS. Compliant given to AE, Cooks Road Division on 04.05.2015, but they are not responded to show the records for regarding reading noted by them at the time of installation. online reading shows as: previous reading for 1 1/2 months is - 505 units after installed new meter from 04.04.15 to 27.04.[protected] units Total - 1605 units kindly do the needful justice to me after enquiry and rectify the excess reading entered without our knowledge and refund excess amount paid by us.

    meter no 154.020.14 no 4 vinayaga mudali street chennai 79 from last 25 day current is cut we are given complient several time from water basin st no body is turn off 15 days back thay are given lupin point from next building & eb person told thair is cable falt we will clear in two days after no body is come here today they naighbour are tekan the lupin wire so now we have a no current so please take action immediately

        Name transfer documents discrepancy

While checking documents needed in name transfer it was mentioned to submit sale deed for the said property along with form-1 and required fees for the same. When I approached the TNEB office in MGR Street, Saligramam, they strictly rejected the application saying that they need the following items: 1. 3 forms (not 1 form mentioned in the web page of TANGEDCO) 2.         My wife Mrs. R Bhavatharani is the owner for my flat at Flat no.3B Suvarna Lok Apts, 19/34 Melony road, T.Nagar, Chennai-17. Consumer No.[protected] During the first week of May 2015, the TNEB employee noted the meter reading and informed me that the charges will be around Rs.45, 000 and more. I have objected and made a complaint to A.E in this regard. A.E has deputed some person to verify the meter and informed me that during April only, the digital meter was installed and it is functioning properly. We are only 2 people living in the flat and I, being an advocate, will be mostly outside the flat from 9am to 9pm. My wife alone is there. Though all rooms have been fitted with AC, we use only 1 AC at a time. Hence there is no possibility of consuming more than 20 units per day. I humbly request you to do the necessary verification and if possible, change the meter and provide justice to me and till the date of this action, kindly stay the collection of billed figure. The max. current consumption during May-Jun 2013 has been within 2000 units. Kindly do the needful in this regard. K Rajasekaran

        Further to my complaint made on May 18, 2015, i hereby rectify the complaint as:-

          EM meter has been installed to my house in the month Dec 2014. I have received minimum bill amount amount for month of december (14/-). For the month of Feb 2015 also, no reading taken by EB. so received a bill amount of Rs.26.00. When inquired in EB office sembakkam, they told i will receive everything in the month of April. In the april month Bill the units consumed since dec 2014 have been charged and the bill amount raised to Rs. 5694.00 as per slab. If the reading was taken properly, i would have got the bill for only 1300.00+. Kindly split the bill amount bimonthly.

            I am residing in Coimbator South ( C-537 Kurichi Housing Unit Phase/II, SIDCO Industrial Estate, Coimbatore - 21) My Electricity Service Connection No. SC 1072. In my house the electricity incoming voltage is 263. Due to over voltage my house hold articles are damaged somany time ( TV, Fan, lights, Refrigeator) So please correct it.

              Respected Madam / Sir, The meter reading is showing excess units than usual. The consumed unit shows 600 units for Feb 2015 and 920 units for May 2015. The usual reading works up to 500 units max for our residence. There is no A\C and no heavy usage but we always receive high amount to pay. Kindly look into this. Sudden shoot up of this excess charges seems to be of concern also need to check the meter because of this we always pay more.

                  Respected Madam / Sir, The meter reading is showing excess units than usual. The consumed unit shows 780 units for Feb 2015 and 1420 units for May 2015. The usual reading works up to 250 units max for our residence. We have started using the Air Conditioner since February and I don't think this additional equipment would shoot up the consumed units to this extent. This has never happened in the past. Kindly look into this. Sudden shoot up of this excess charges seems to be of concern.

                            Hello I am very disappointed with your customer complaints officers. We have been going through a voltage issue for the past 2 weeks. And my neighbours at AL block 3 rd street and i have been suffering this for the past 2.5 weeks. We have been complaining since then in vain. WE lost one AC to this horrible voltage issue. We dont want to have any more damages because of lack of your response. This is a humble plea to take a quick action and provide us some releif. Thank you

                              Dear Sir, We have regular power cut during summer due to cable fault at Bazaar Road 1st & 2nd Lane, Mylapore. Line man always provide temporary solution only. And we also said several time to change the cable. Still no action taken and our area is an Single phase. Children, Patient and Old age people suffer due to this power cut. We now request you to contact the responsible person to take a seperate connection in the name of church by proper registered documents ( Joshua- [protected].                                   Now a days govt staffs collecting excess and unaccounted money from the public and help them to do the illegal matters.

                                  When the EB staff of Mambakkam office received the call from the village people he would have
                                  inform the higher authorities or give warning the consumer.

                                  But he collected pribe from the church people without (consumer) owners knowledge.
                                  Is it not the EB people duty to be alert when a new building /church/shop opened to check
                                  whether the proper new connection given, in whose name the connection applied?
                                  EVERY MONTH A PERSON FROM EB OFFICE TAKING READING PERSONALLY. That time
                                  he would have pointed out a new church has formed from where they are using current.

                                  These are all the basic things. This has to be rectified immediately and staff members to be
                                  educated properly.

                                  It is better THE PENTECOSTAL MISSION church may go in for a seperate connection in their
                                  name after registering the land in their name to avoid local preasure from the village people.
                                  EB department also act very strict in this matter.

                                  When the church formed is it not their duty to register the church and get a seperate wated, EB connection in their name?
                                  Such a illegal matters the EB people should not co-operate.

                                    Sir / madam, we are a resident of madhavaram milk colony, and to a greater frustrations the power cuts happen on a very frequent Frequent basis, there is no proper intimation for the power cuts and absolutely no response when we call to enquire on the same and if we are lucky to get to the call connected, the response from the employees are always same "maintenance work". Will there be a maintenance shut down on a day to day basis for a longer hours ? And isn't the duty TNEB to inform us prior. Kindly sort out these issue. Many houses are forced to get a power inverter which unfortunately can't be recharged to full capacity due to the frequent untimely power cuts. Kindly sort out the issues ASAP. And kindly ask your employees to respond to the calls .
