Dear Sir, My service No is[protected] at Chennai. There has been no power supply in one phase for the past 30 days and I have been complaining all these days to the concerned department (phone no; 1912 &[protected]. When I went today (13/02/15) to the Chennai, K K Nagar EB office to check the status of my complaint, I found that that the problem to be attended by OHT line group and told me to contact another office, but they not provided any phone or contact person Name.. All the 30 days? That is incredible. I hope something is done at the earliest to rectify the problem. Thanks. DHANASEKARAN, EVR St, Periyarnagar, Nesapakkam. Chennai 78.

      No proper description has been given for tariff slot because of that i end up in paying more amount and there is no proper clarification for that excess amount charged and i'm surprised we live in a democratic country with all fundamental rights to know the information...i think i'm not alone in this...more people like would have suffering like me...whoever concerned for this complaint please rectify the communication gap between consumer and electricity board...Thank you

        We the consumer number[protected], located at New No.17, Old No.6 (2nd Floor), 4th Street, Balaji Nagar, Royapettah, Chennai, have been suffering from Continuous Disturbance of Power supply, with erratic power supply, and flickering of Lights and unsteady supply of power, during the last 2 months, resulting in Damage of 3 Tubelights, and 1 UPS. Please arrange to check our power supply and RECTIFY the defects IMMEDIATELY, before any serious consequences.

          Dear Sir, My service No is SVB 361, at Tuticorin. There has been no power supply in one phase for the past 4 days and I have been complaining all these four days to the concerned department (phone no;[protected]. When I went today (09/02/15) to the Chidambaranagar EB office to check the status of my complaint, I found that no complaint has been registered. When inquired, the staff at the office said that probably the person who attended my calls had forgotten to register the complaint. All the four days? That is incredible. I hope something is done at the earliest to rectify the problem. Thanks. Dr.Lamington.

            I stay in Mugalivakkam, chennai south.
            When I went to paid my Dec electricity bill, the officials in the office are collecting extra money other than the bill amount telling that they have orders to do it. I consumed 280 units where bill comes to Rs.670 but the official collected 1000 rupees without receipt for 330 rupees.
            I want to know whether its happening only here or anyone has faced the same problem at your locality.
            This has to be explained to consumer.

              Dear Sir, Inspite of repeated complaints/requests, no street light is functioning for last 2 months at 4th street, Sornapuri Nagar, Kattupakkam, Ch-56. It is known from the representative of Kattupakkam Panchayat, Poonamallee, Tiruvallur Dist that Shri KGT Gowthaman, President, Kattupakkam Panchayat has personally made complaint to the office of the AE Iyyappanthangal(Porur) and the feed back from TNEB is that the concerned electric posts must be changed. Then only it can be rectified. So, I want to know how long it will take further. Any time frame?                 Dear Sir, I am Jagadeesan, residing at Porur. On 04.02.2015, at 11.51 pm, I made a Call to your Electricity Board No.1912. Your Phone Executive attended the call and enquired about the detail and he told that the information would be forwarded to the concerned. I requested regarding the Complaint Ref. and he told me to provide and after a while, he cut the call suddenly without providing the requested details.                   I am residing at Srivilliputtur my EB consumer no[protected] . On my complaint regarding your electronic EB meter has not working condition and no display. the department have made a shortfall recovery in my same consumer no but wrongly a CC Arrear charges of Rs.802 have been (cash) paid by me on 03.02.2015 for the 27.11.2014 to 23.01.2015 period. When i called the concerned person they did not replied me properly. so please take necessary steps to reverse the Rs.802 cc arrears in my EB account

                      Sir, I made an online payment Rs.3597 for the TNEB Consumer No.[protected] on[protected] through my indian Bank A/c No.[protected] S.PRABHAKAR. The amount was debited from my Bank account & I got msg payment successful on desktop screen. but i did not get any receipt. so i checked the transaction status in your site & bank site. In my bank site it is updated as successful, by mentioning transfer to Tneb...

                            Dear Sir, I am Gopalakrishnan from Alapakkam, 3rd Street, Porur, Chennai - 116 I regret to bring to your kind notice that the old pillar which is being removed due to damages before three months is still laying in front of my residence entrance and inspite of several reminders to Maduravoyal (South) Foreman and AE no proper response, action is being done by the relevant authorities. Actually they committed that it will be dismantled and cleared within a weeks time. Now they expect something to proceed, which they keep and it is this type they do for all as a regular process. As i am retired person and a super senior person of 75 years, i am unable to meet out their requirement makes them to dodge me and create a unnecessary friction / problem by making a black mail threat of even in my service line provided by the TNEB Department. Hence i kindly request the concern officials to please look into the matter on an urgent basis and arrange to do the needful shortly.                               My name is Naveen.I live in Hosur Nandavanam Phase.Recently I ended up in changing the service wire cable which connects to the pole.For that they charged Rs 7000 for wire and Labour charge.But when you check the price of the cable it is just Rs 60 Per meter which adds up to Rs 1500 for 25 Mts.But what Line man Saravanan Mob : [protected] and Fellow partner in crime of corruption : Shabbir (Assistant to Saravanan but not of TNEB Employee), Mobile number is [protected] did was charged Rs 175 per meter for 25 mts it is Rs 4375 and 5 Clamps and 8 nails for about Rs 750 and Labour charge of Rs 2500.As a whole they took Rs 7000 where in it would have been only Rs 2000.For me I lost Rs 5000 which is my 1 Week earnings.Unless or until we streamline or take proper actions against these corrupted employees and we can’t live our life properly.So I completely need your help so that they should realise their guilty and punished for whatever they did for me.It is just what had happened to me but all the people who are suffering because of these people are still struggling to find a way to get out of this.If possible request your help in getting my money back from the Line man.
